Abstract

The present invention provides a pet toilet training device (1000) for a flush toilet, the device stimulating a desire for treats in a pet, thereby inducing, in the pet, voluntary urination and defecation in the flush toilet. According to the present invention, if a pet defecates on the flush toilet (100) and pushes a flushing switch (90), treats in treat containers (11, 12, 13) are discharged through an outlet (70), and, in a urination training mode, preferred treats are discharged when the pet urinates and, in a feces training mode, general treats are discharged when the pet defecates.

Description

Toilet training device for pet flush toilet

The present invention relates to a toilet training device for a flush toilet for a pet, in which a treat is discharged as a reward when the pet defecates in the flush toilet, and the pet, which has been greedy for the treat, is trained to defecate in the flush toilet.

Nowadays, pets such as dogs and cats have become companion animals and are often kept in homes. Accordingly, it is necessary to train them to excrete and defecate at home, and pet litter boxes that handle excrement are also available.

For example, Korean Patent No. 10-1809458-0000 discloses an automatic pet waste disposal device, which is a device that allows pets to urinate and defecate and dispose of their waste.

However, it is most desirable for pets to use flush toilets that people use. In such a case, there is no need to provide a separate pet toilet or waste disposal device.

For this purpose, the pet must be trained, that is, trained to use a flush toilet as used by humans.

In relation to this training, some pets are able to urinate well in flush toilets but not defecate well, and conversely, some are able to defecate well but not urinate well. Therefore, this should be taken into consideration when training pets to use flush toilets for humans.

The present invention provides a device that automatically provides a snack when a pet uses a flush toilet, thereby training the pet to use the flush toilet out of covetousness for the snack, and provides a toilet training device for a flush toilet for a pet that corrects a problem in which the pet is good at urinating or defecating in a flush toilet but not good at the other, according to training.

In addition, the present invention relates to a treat discharge mechanism of a toilet training device for a flushing toilet for such a pet, and provides an improved treat discharge mechanism.

A device for training a pet to use a flush toilet, like the present invention, was not found in a prior art search, but as a related technology, an automatic flush toilet for pets, as described in Korean Patent No. 10-1260479-0000, was found.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device that automatically provides a snack when a pet uses a flush toilet, thereby training the pet to use the flush toilet out of greed for the snack, and to provide a toilet training device for a flush toilet for a pet that can correct a problem in which the pet is good at urinating or defecating in a flush toilet but not good at the other, according to training.

In addition, the present invention aims to provide an improved snack dispensing mechanism related to a toilet training device for a flushing toilet for such pets.

The present invention

(a) A snack container where snacks are stored; the snack container stores regular snacks and preferred snacks according to the pet's preference,

(b) an outlet through which snacks from the snack container are discharged;

(c) a snack discharge mechanism that divides the snacks in the snack box into the general snacks and the preferred snacks and discharges them through the discharge port;

(d) a drop detection sensor installed in a flush toilet to detect the fall of excrement and whether the excrement is urine or feces;

(e) A toilet training device for a pet's flush toilet is provided, characterized in that it comprises a control unit that is connected to the drop detection sensor and the snack discharge mechanism, and, when the drop detection sensor detects the dropping of feces, determines whether the feces are urine or feces, and controls the snack discharge mechanism according to the result to discharge either a regular snack or a preferred snack from the snack container through the discharge port.

According to the present invention,

(a) further including a flush switch operation detection sensor connected to the control unit for detecting whether the flush switch of the flush toilet is operating,

(b) In the above snack discharge control step, it is preferable that the control unit detects the falling of feces through the fall detection sensor, and then detects the operation of the flush switch through the flush switch operation detection sensor, determines whether the feces are urine or feces, and controls the snack discharge mechanism based on the result so that either a regular snack or a preferred snack in the snack container is discharged through the discharge port.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, the snack discharge control step performed by the control unit may control the snack discharge mechanism to discharge preferred snacks in the snack container through the discharge port if the defecation is determined to be urine, and may control the snack discharge mechanism to discharge regular snacks in the snack container through the discharge port if the defecation is determined to be feces.

In this case, the toilet training device of the flush toilet of the pet is connected to the control unit and further has a training mode selection means for determining a urine training mode and a fecal training mode, and it is preferable that the snack discharge control step performed by the control unit corresponds to the training mode of the training mode selection means corresponding to the urine training mode.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, the snack discharge control step performed by the control unit may control the snack discharge mechanism to discharge preferred snacks in the snack container through the discharge port when the defecation is determined to be feces, and may control the snack discharge mechanism to discharge regular snacks in the snack container through the discharge port when the defecation is determined to be urine.

In this case, the toilet training device of the flush toilet of the pet is connected to the control unit and further has a training mode selection means for determining a urine training mode and a fecal training mode, and it is preferable that the snack discharge control step performed by the control unit corresponds to the fecal training mode in the training mode selection means.

The toilet training device of the pet flushing toilet according to the present invention

(a) with a microphone;

(b) with speakers;

(c) an acoustic unit connected to the microphone and speaker;

(d) a camera and;

(e) monitor and;

(f) a video unit connected to the above camera and monitor;

(g) further having a communication section that performs wireless or wired communication,

(h) These sound, video and communication units are connected to the control unit,

(i) It is desirable that a terminal user communicating with the communication unit under the control of the control unit be able to see and converse with the pet.

According to the present invention,

(a) The above snack container includes a general snack container that stores general snacks and a preferred snack container that stores preferred snacks according to the pet's preference.

(b) The above snack discharge mechanism includes a general snack discharge mechanism combined with the general snack container and a preferred snack discharge mechanism combined with the preferred snack container, and each of the general snack discharge mechanism and the preferred snack discharge mechanism

(b1) a first member having an opening portion with an open lower portion;

(b2) A rotary plate having a drop opening formed at the bottom of the first member and covering the opening of the first member; the diameter of the drop opening is such that the snack is settled by protruding upwards into the drop opening;

(b3) A second member provided at the lower portion of the above-mentioned turntable and having a communication opening formed therein that communicates with the above-mentioned discharge port;

(b4) a motor for rotating the above turntable;

(b5) A pushing means installed on the upper surface of the turntable to push the snack stacked on the upper portion of the turntable in the direction of rotation of the turntable;

(b6) It is installed corresponding to the position of the opening of the second member on the upper part of the above-mentioned turntable, and comprises a lower pressing means for pressing and pushing the snack, which is settled by protruding upward in the above-mentioned drop opening of the above-mentioned turntable, to the lower part of the drop opening when the above-mentioned turntable approaches and makes contact with it as it rotates.

(c) It is preferable that the control unit controls the motor of either the general snack discharge mechanism or the preferred snack discharge mechanism to rotate the turntable and discharge either the snack of the general snack container or the preferred snack container through the discharge port, based on the result of determining whether the excrement is urine or feces.

In this case, the above-mentioned pushing means

(a) a vertical extension member installed on the above turntable;

(b) It is preferable that the vertical extension member include a transverse member that is installed transversely to the vertical extension member and pushes the snack according to the rotation of the turntable, and further, the transverse member is preferably formed of an elastic means and is capable of moving transversely with respect to the vertical extension member.

According to the present invention, when a pet defecates in a flush toilet or, in addition, operates a flush switch, a toilet training device of the pet's flush toilet according to the present invention discharges a treat through a discharge port, thereby utilizing the pet's greed for treats to train the pet to defecate in a flush toilet.

In particular, the present invention provides an incentive for the pet to do the wrong thing by providing a preferred snack when the pet does one of urination and defecation well but not the other, so that the pet can be trained to do both urination and defecation well in a flush toilet.

Furthermore, the present invention relates to a snack discharge mechanism required for a toilet training device of a flushing toilet for a pet, and provides a snack discharge mechanism that has a very simple structure and can control the discharge of snacks only by controlling the rotational speed of a motor.

Now, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

Figure 1 shows a toilet training device (1000) of a pet flushing toilet according to one embodiment of the present invention.

As illustrated, the toilet training device (1000) of the flush toilet of the pet is installed on the upper part of the flush toilet (100), has a monitor (31) and a camera (33), and also has a speaker (41) and a microphone (43).

The toilet training device (1000) of the above pet flush toilet has a discharge port (70) through which the pet's snack (feed) is discharged.

A flush toilet (100) has a flush switch (90). When this switch is operated after urinating or defecating, water flows down and the waste flows out together with the flushed water.

Meanwhile, in the present embodiment, the toilet training device (1000) of the flush toilet of the pet has a general training mode switch (61), a urine training mode switch (62), and a feces training mode switch (63). When any one of the training mode switches (61), (62), or (63) is turned on, as described below, when the pet defecates in the flush toilet (100) or operates the flush switch (90) after defecation, a snack dispensing operation is performed so that a general snack or a preferred snack, which is a preferred snack, is given as a reward according to the type of defecation according to the type of training mode.

In the present invention, a snack refers to pet food, and a preferred snack refers to a snack (food) that a pet likes more than a regular snack.

For example, preferred treats are food that pets like dogs and cats prefer because they have a high content of fish or meat and can sense it through their sense of smell. General treats and preferred treats are relative concepts, and are intended to take advantage of the pet's greed to obtain more preferred items in training mode.

When all of these switches (61), (62), and (63) are turned off, the pet's toilet training function as a normal flush toilet does not work.

FIG. 2 is a drawing showing the structure of a toilet training device (1000) for a pet flushing toilet according to one embodiment of the present invention.

As illustrated, a control unit (800) is provided, and the control unit (800) is connected to a video unit (300), an audio unit (400), and a communication unit (500).

The video unit (300) is connected to a monitor (31) and a camera (33), the audio unit (400) is connected to a speaker (41) and a microphone (43), and the communication unit (500) communicates with an external terminal.

The video unit (300) and audio unit (400) process video data and audio data received from an external terminal communicating through the communication unit (500), respectively, to generate video and audio and output them to the monitor (41) and speaker (41), and also process video data captured by the camera (33) and audio data received by the microphone (43) and transmit them to an external terminal through the communication unit (500).

Accordingly, under the control of the control unit (800), the user of the external terminal can show his/her appearance to the pet through the monitor (31), and also can view the appearance of the pet through the camera (33) through his/her terminal.

In addition, under the control of the control unit (800), the user of the external terminal can speak to the pet through the speaker (41) and hear the sounds or words made by the pet through the microphone (43).

Meanwhile, the toilet training device (1000) of the above-mentioned pet flush toilet has a snack container (11)(12), and the snacks in the snack container (11)(12) are discharged through the discharge port (70) according to the operation of the snack discharge mechanism (600).

The snack discharge mechanism (600) may include, for example, opening/closing valves installed in discharge pipes connecting each snack container (11)(12) and the discharge port (70) and a motor mechanism for opening and closing these opening/closing valves.

Korean Patent Nos. 10-1321953, 10-1348964, 10-1727279, 10-1772992, 10-1697956, and 10-1348964 are various examples showing devices for discharging snacks, etc. through an outlet.

Meanwhile, the present invention provides a snack discharging mechanism (600) that efficiently discharges snacks with a simple structure, which will be described later.

In an embodiment of the present invention, these snack containers (11)(12) store one snack preferred by the pet and the other snack, which is less preferred by the pet.

Under the control of the control unit (800), the snack discharge mechanism (600) operates so that regular snacks from among the snack containers (11)(12) are discharged through the discharge port (70), or preferred snacks are discharged through the discharge port (70).

The above control unit (800) is also connected to a drop detection sensor (20) installed in a flush toilet (100), so that when urine or feces are excreted, it can detect the dropping of feces inside the toilet and determine whether the excrement is urine or feces.

The fall detection sensor (20) has a light emitting part (21) and a light receiving part (23), and when feces pass between them, the light transmittance changes, thereby detecting the defecation. Since feces and urine have different transmittances, the control part (800) can detect whether the defecation is feces or urine based on the transmittance.

Furthermore, the control unit (800) is connected to a water flush switch operation detection sensor (98) that detects whether the water flush switch (90) is operating, so that the operation of the water flush switch (90) can be detected.

The above-mentioned water flush switch operation detection sensor (98) may be, for example, a contact sensor that detects operation by making contact according to the operation of the water flush switch (90), or a proximity sensor that detects operation by reading the change in position of the water flush switch (90), etc., and various other sensors may be used.

Figures 3 to 8 are flowcharts showing the operations performed by the control unit (800) for toilet training of a pet using a flush toilet, respectively.

Figures 3 and 4 are flowcharts showing the operations performed by the control unit (800) in the general training mode. That is, the operations when the general training mode switch (61) is turned on are shown.

Referring to Fig. 3, the control unit (800) determines whether the general training mode switch (61) is turned on and the general training mode is in effect. (Step S301)

Next, in the case of general training mode, it is determined whether defecation has occurred in the flush toilet (100). (Step S302)

That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which regular snacks are stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S303)

Figure 4 shows the operation of a control unit (800) that discharges a treat as a reward when a pet operates the flush switch (90) in addition to defecating in a flush toilet.

First, the control unit (800) determines whether the general training mode switch (61) is turned on and the general training mode is in effect. (Step S401)

Next, in the case of general training mode, it is determined whether defecation has occurred in the flush toilet (100). (Step S402)

That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the flush switch (90) is operating through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98). (Step S403)

If the operation of the water flush switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which regular snacks are stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S404)

Figures 5 and 6 are flowcharts showing the operations performed by the control unit (800) in the urine training mode. That is, the operations when the urine training mode switch (62) is turned on are shown.

Referring to Fig. 5, first, the control unit (800) determines whether the urine training mode switch (62) is turned on and the urine training mode is in effect. (Step S501)

Next, in the case of urine training mode, it is determined whether or not defecation has occurred in the flush toilet (100). (Step S502)

That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the defecation is urine. (Step S503) That is, the control unit (800) detects the transmittance of light passing through the light-emitting unit (21) and light-receiving unit (23) of the drop detection sensor (20) as the defecation passes, and with this value, it detects whether the defecation is feces or urine.

If it is judged to be urine, the snack discharge mechanism (600) is controlled so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which the preferred snack is stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S504)

If it is judged to be feces rather than urine, the snack discharge mechanism (600) is controlled so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which regular snacks are stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S505)

Figure 6 shows the operation of a control unit (800) that discharges a treat as a reward when a pet defecates in a flush toilet and also operates the flush switch (90) after defecation.

First, the control unit (800) determines whether the urine training mode switch (62) is turned on and in the urine training mode. (Step S601)

Next, in the case of urine training mode, it is determined whether defecation has occurred in the flush toilet (100). (Step S602)

That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the defecation is urine. (Step S603) That is, the control unit (800) detects the transmittance of light passing through the light-emitting unit (21) and light-receiving unit (23) of the drop detection sensor (20) as the defecation passes, and with this value, it detects whether the defecation is feces or urine.

Next, the control unit (800) determines whether the flush switch (90) is operated through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98) when the defecation is judged to be urine. (Step S604)

If the operation of the water flush switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snack in the snack container where the preferred snack is stored among the snack containers (11)(12) is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S605)

If it is judged to be feces rather than urine, it is determined whether the flush switch (90) is operating through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98). (Step S606)

If the operation of the water flush switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snacks in the snack container (11)(12) in which regular snacks are stored are discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S607)

In this way, according to the present invention, in the urine training mode, when a person has difficulty urinating in a flush toilet (100) and thus needs urine training, a preferred snack is discharged when urinating, thereby creating an incentive to urinate in the flush toilet (100).

Accordingly, when urinating, the person can eat a more delicious snack, so he or she becomes more interested in urinating in the flush toilet (100), and naturally becomes able to urinate well in the flush toilet (100).

Figures 7 and 8 are flowcharts showing the operations performed by the control unit (800) in the bowel training mode. That is, the operations when the bowel training mode switch (63) is turned on are shown.

Referring to Figure 7, first, the control unit (800) determines whether the stool training mode switch (63) is turned on and is in stool training mode. (Step S701)

Next, in the case of the toilet training mode, it is determined whether or not there is a bowel movement in the flush toilet (100). (Step S702)

That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the defecation is urine. (Step S703) That is, the control unit (800) detects the transmittance of light passing through the light-emitting unit (21) and light-receiving unit (23) of the drop detection sensor (20) as the defecation passes, and with this value, it detects whether the defecation is feces or urine.

If it is judged to be urine, the snack discharge device (600) is controlled so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) where the general snack is stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S704)

If it is judged to be feces rather than urine, the snack discharge mechanism (600) is controlled so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which the preferred snack is stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S705)

Figure 8 shows the operation of a control unit (800) that discharges a treat as a reward when a pet defecates in a flush toilet and also operates the flush switch (90) after defecation.

First, the control unit (800) determines whether the stool training mode switch (62) is turned on and is in stool training mode. (Step S801)

Next, in the case of the toilet training mode, it is determined whether or not there is a bowel movement in the flush toilet (100). (Step S802)

That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the defecation is urine. (Step S803) That is, the control unit (800) detects the transmittance of light passing through the light-emitting unit (21) and light-receiving unit (23) of the drop detection sensor (20) as the defecation passes, and with this value, it detects whether the defecation is feces or urine.

Next, the control unit (800) determines whether the flush switch (90) is operated through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98) when the defecation is judged to be urine. (Step S804)

If the operation of the water flush switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which regular snacks are stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S805)

If it is judged to be feces rather than urine, it is determined whether the flush switch (90) is operating through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98). (Step S806)

If the operation of the water flush switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which the preferred snack is stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S807)

In this way, according to the present invention, in the case where defecation is not performed well in a flush toilet (100) and defecation training is required, an incentive to defecate in the flush toilet (100) is created by discharging a preferred snack when defecating. Accordingly, after defecating, the user can eat a more delicious snack, and thus becomes more interested in defecating in the flush toilet (100), and naturally defecates well in the flush toilet (100).

Figure 9 shows a pet talking to its owner outside while looking at each other through a monitor (31), camera (33), speaker (41), and microphone (43) according to the present invention.

Figures 10 to 14 show the structure of a snack discharging mechanism (600) according to one embodiment of the present invention.

First, in relation to the above snack dispensing device (600), a snack container is provided that stores general snacks according to the pet's preference, including a general snack container (11) and a preferred snack container (12) that stores preferred snacks.

A snack discharge mechanism (601)(602) is provided for each of these general snack containers (11) and preferred snack containers (12), so that each constitutes a general snack discharge mechanism (601) and a preferred snack discharge mechanism (602).

These general snack discharge mechanisms (601) and preferred snack discharge mechanisms (602) have the same structure. Below, the structure of the preferred snack discharge mechanism (602) will be mainly explained.

First, the preferred snack discharging mechanism (602) has a first member (6021) having an open portion (1228) with an open bottom.

In this embodiment, the first member (6021) has a plate shape, and an intermediate body (122) communicating with the preferred snack container (12) is installed on the upper surface thereof.

The internal space (S1) of the above preferred snack container (12) and the internal space (S2) of the intermediate container (122) are connected.

Likewise, the general snack container (11) is connected to the intermediate container (111).

These general snack containers (11) and preferred snack containers (12) have lids and store snacks in their internal space (S1).

A rotating plate (6028) is provided at the lower part of the first member (6021) in the form of the above plate.

This covers the opening (1228) on the lower surface of the first member (6021), and has a drop opening (60288) formed on one side thereof.

As described below, the diameter of the drop opening (60288) is such that the snack (88) is settled in the drop opening (60288) and then a part of it protrudes upward. (See FIGS. 15 and 16)

For example, if the diameter of the snack is 1.5 cm, the diameter of the drop opening (60288) can be equal to or greater than 1.499 cm and less than or equal to 1.5 cm.

In the present embodiment, a second member (6022) in the form of a plate is provided at the lower portion of the above-mentioned turntable (6028).

The above second member (6022) has a communication opening (60228) formed on one side, which is connected to the discharge port (70) through which the aforementioned snack is discharged. As shown, a communication body (6027) is connected to the lower part of the communication opening (60228) and is connected to the discharge port (70) through this.

A motor (M) is mounted underneath the second member (6022), and the motor (M) rotates the turntable (6028) under the control of the control unit (800).

A pushing means (6070) is installed on the upper surface of the above-mentioned turntable (6028).

This is to push the snack stacked on the upper part of the turntable (6028) in the direction of rotation according to the rotation of the turntable (6028) through the intermediate body (122) that is connected to the preferred snack container (12).

The above-mentioned pressing means (6070) has a vertical extension member (60281) installed on the above-mentioned rotating plate (6028) and also has a transverse member (60283)(60285) installed transversely to the above-mentioned vertical extension member (60281).

The above transverse members (60283)(60285) push out the snacks according to the rotation of the turntable (6028). These transverse members (60283)(60285) can move in the transverse direction with respect to the vertical extension member (60281), and are preferably formed of elastic means.

That is, these transverse members (60283)(60285) are loosely fitted to the vertical extension members (60281) and are pushed laterally by the reaction force when they come into contact with the snacks and push them out.

Additionally, it is preferable that these transverse members (60283)(60285) be made of elastic means such as a spring.

Accordingly, when the turntable (6028) rotates with the power of the motor (M) under the control of the control unit (800), the transverse member (60283) (60285) pushes the snacks while minimizing the reaction force. (See FIGS. 15 and 16)

According to a snack discharging mechanism (602) according to one embodiment of the present invention, a lower pressing means (1226) is installed corresponding to the position of the communication opening (60228) of the second member (6022) at the upper portion of the rotating plate (6028).

In this embodiment, the lower pressing means (1226) is formed and installed in a form that protrudes toward the opening (1228) from the inner edge of the opening (1228) of the first member (6021).

This is so that when a snack (88) that is partially protruded upward and settled in the drop opening (60288) of the above-mentioned turntable (6028) approaches and comes into contact with the rotation of the above-mentioned turntable (6028), the upper part of the snack (88) is pressed and pushed to the lower part of the above-mentioned drop opening (60288). The snack pushed in this way falls to the connecting body (6027) and arrives at the snack stand (80) through the connected discharge port (70).
