Abstract

The invention relates to a conveyor belt for conveying food products along a conveying direction, the conveyor belt having: a transport side on which the food products can be placed; and a running side which is opposite the transport side and using which the conveyor belt can be brought into contact with a drive transmission element in order to drive the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt has at least one functional element which provides a readable identification assigned to the conveyor belt.
