Abstract
L'invention concerne des brosses de copolymères aléatoires comportant un monomère aromatique méthacrylate d'éthylène glycol phényl éther (EGPMA) et un méthacrylate de sulfobétaïne (SBMA) zwitterionique pour stabiliser des enzymes qui sont immobilisées sur la couche de brosse. Il est démontré ici que l'incorporation de 5 % d'EGPMA produit la stabilisation spectaculaire de la lipase immobilisée, ce qui a conduit à une augmentation de 50 °C de la température optimale de l'enzyme. Il a été observé que l'enzyme stabilisée à des températures élevées présente une activité catalytique 50 fois supérieure par rapport à l'enzyme non modifiée. Il est à noter que, en comparaison avec des surfaces de brosses antérieures, l'incorporation d'EGPMA permet de nouveaux types d'interactions avec l'enzyme qui contribuent à cet effet stabilisant.
