Abstract
The invention relates to a system and method that enables the tearing of a product produced as blue jeans, the printing of different fabric pieces by means of a printing machine by accepting the torn pieces as a visual and also as a cutting pattern, and the production of jeans in the desired color and appearance by re-sewing the printed pieces.
Description
COLORED JEANS PRODUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
Technical Field
The invention relates to a system and method that enables the creation of products in the desired color and appearance in the production of jeans.
The invention particularly relates to a system and method that enables the tearing of a product produced as blue jeans, the printing of the torn parts by means of a printing machine, and the re-sewing of the printed parts to produce jeans in the desired color and appearance.
Prior Art
Today, only blue/navy colored indigo yarn products can be produced from denim fabrics. Products produced in this way are called Blue Jeans (blue jeans pants, blue jeans coats, etc.). Products sewn from fabrics made with indigo yarn are sold by giving them an old look with chemicals and certain designs.
In the present art, products made from fabrics made with indigo yarn cannot have any color other than blue. Products produced with fabrics made of different colored yarns that are not dyed indigo blue cannot be given an aged appearance even if chemical processes are applied. In the relevant technical field, it has not been possible to produce denim in colors other than blue/navy blue for over a hundred years. Because the blue/navy blue color is obtained by fermenting the leaves of a plant called the Indigo tree (indigofera tinctora). Therefore, with the present art, all products can be produced in blue/navy blue tones under the name Blue Jean. Considering today's rapidly changing fashion trends and changing clothing preferences, production methods that can allow for the production of different colored jeans are needed in this area, both for the profitability of manufacturers and for user satisfaction.
As a result of the research carried out on the subject, the application titled “Double color jean fabric” with the numbered CN213925234U was found. The system describes a solution that allows obtaining two-color denim fabric dyed with indigo and sulfur dyes. There is no mention of a structure in the system that allows products produced as blue jeans to be redesigned in the desired color and appearance.
As a result, due to the negativities described above and the inadequacy of existing solutions on the subject, it has become necessary to make a development in the relevant technical field.
Purpose of the Invention
The invention is inspired by the current situation and aims to solve the above- mentioned negativities.
The main purpose of the invention is to present a system and method that allows the creation of products in the desired color and appearance in the production of jeans.
Another purpose of the invention is to design a system and method that enables the tearing of a product produced as blue jeans, the printing of the torn parts by means of a printing machine, and the re-sewing of the printed parts to produce jeans in the desired color and appearance.
Another purpose of the invention is to create a system and method that allows the production of jeans in different colors that can appeal to different clothing styles and user preferences.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide a system and method that increases customer satisfaction and profitability for brands that produce jeans.
Another purpose of the invention is to create a system and method that allows the production of products with a 100% denim appearance in different colors such as red- jean, pink-jean, etc. in addition to the blue-jean products currently in use.
In order to achieve the objects described above, the invention is a system that allows the creation of products in the desired color and appearance in the production of jeans. Accordingly, the system comprises the following:
• a tearing unit that allows the tearing of denim products made of existing blue/navy colored denim fabrics from their seams,
• a photographing unit that allows the photographs of the denim fabric pieces that emerge after the tearing process to be taken and transferred to the digital environment,
• a digital printing machine that creates the product pattern using image processing methods from the images taken by means of the mentioned photographing unit, enables color and/or design changes to be made on the fabrics by means of design programs, prints the new design model and/or the selected color on the desired fabric pieces,
• a sewing unit that joins the fabric pieces that have been printed by the mentioned digital printing machine.
The invention also comprises a method that enables the creation of products in the desired color and appearance in the production of jeans. Accordingly, the method comprises the following process steps:
• tearing the seams of denim products produced with existing blue/navy colored denim fabrics by means of a tearing unit,
• taking photographs of the denim fabric pieces that emerge after the tearing process using a photographing unit and transferring the images to digital media,
• transmitting the images taken by the mentioned photographing unit and transferred to digital media to a digital printing machine that can print on fabric,
• said digital printing machine creates the relevant product mold using the transmitted images,
• planning color and/or design changes for the relevant product whose mold has been created by means of design programs running on the digital printing machine,
• printing of the new design model and/or the selected color on the desired fabric pieces using a digital printing machine,
• creating a denim product with a design and/or color change by combining fabric pieces that have been printed by the mentioned digital printing machine with a sewing unit.
The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all its advantages will be understood more clearly by means of the drawings given below and the detailed description written by making references to these drawings, and therefore the evaluation needs to be made by taking these drawings and detailed description into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, preferred embodiments of the system and method, which are the subject of the invention are described only for a better understanding of the subject.
The invention is a system that allows the creation of products in the desired color and appearance in the production of jeans. In Figure-1 , it is given a schematic view of the system, which is the subject of the invention. Accordingly, the system comprises a tearing unit (1) that allows the tearing of denim products made with existing blue/navy colored denim fabrics from their seams, a photographing unit (2) that allows the photographs of the denim fabric pieces that emerge after the tearing process to be taken and transferred to the digital environment, a digital printing machine (3) that creates the product pattern from the images taken by means of the mentioned photographing unit (2) using image processing methods, enables color and/or design changes to be made on the fabrics using design programs, and prints the new design model and/or the selected color on the desired fabric pieces, a sewing unit (4) that combines the fabric pieces whose printing process has been completed by said digital printing machine (3)
The working principle of the system is as follows:
Denim products produced with existing blue/navy colored denim fabrics are torn from their seams by the tearing unit (1). Each torn piece is used as a cutting pattern in the rest of the process. After the tearing process, the resulting denim fabric pieces are
photographed, preferably from the front and back, using the photographing unit (2) and the images are transferred to the digital environment.
The images taken by the photographing unit (2) and transferred to digital media are transmitted to a digital printing machine (3) that can print on fabric. The digital printing machine (3) creates the relevant product pattern using the transmitted images and uses these patterns as input to the design programs used for new designs to be made.
Colour and/or design changes are planned for the relevant product whose mould has been made by means of design programs running on the digital printing machine (3). Blue parts are converted to the desired color with programs such as Corel Draw I PhotoShop I Illustrator, etc., and design additions are made if desired. During this convert, the old image areas remain old, but the relevant areas are converted to the desired color. The new design model and/or selected colour printing is made on the desired fabric pieces by means of a digital printing machine (3). The fabric pieces, whose printing process has been completed by the mentioned digital printing machine (3), are combined by the sewing unit (4) to create a product with a changed design and/or color. In the preferred application of the system, all parts that will form the product are also cut. Cutting is done with short marker spreads and the product is sewn with sewing allowances.
Claims
1. A system that allows the creation of products in the desired color and appearance in the production of jeans, characterized by comprising:
• a tearing unit (1) that allows the tearing of denim products made of existing blue/navy colored denim fabrics from their seams,
• a photographing unit (2) that allows the photographs of the denim fabric pieces that emerge after the tearing process to be taken and transferred to the digital environment,
• a digital printing machine (3) that creates the product pattern from the images taken by means of the mentioned photographing unit (2) using image processing methods, enables color and/or design changes to be made on the fabrics using design programs, and prints the new design model and/or the selected color on the desired fabric pieces,
• a sewing unit (4) that joins the fabric pieces that have been printed by the mentioned digital printing machine (3).
2. A method that allows the creation of products in the desired color and appearance in the production of jeans, characterized by comprising the following process steps:
• tearing the seams of denim products made with existing blue/navy colored denim fabrics by means of a tearing unit (1),
• taking photographs of the denim fabric pieces that emerge after the tearing process using a photographing unit (2) and transferring the images to digital media,
• transmitting the images taken by said photographing unit (2) and transferred to digital media to a digital printing machine (3) that can print on fabric,
• said digital printing machine (3) creates the relevant product mold using the transmitted images,
• planning color and/or design changes for the relevant product whose mold has been created by means of design programs running on the digital printing machine (3),
• printing of the new design model and/or the selected color on the desired fabric pieces using a digital printing machine (3),
• creating a denim product with a design and/or color change by combining fabric pieces that have been printed by the mentioned digital printing machine with (3) a sewing unit (4).
