Abstract

There is provided an aerosol provision device, comprising: a first portion and a second portion; the first portion comprising a power arrangement, an engagement arrangement and a mouthpiece portion through which aerosol within the first portion can pass; the second portion comprising an aerosol generating arrangement, an engagement arrangement and a mouthpiece portion through which aerosol within the second portion can pass; wherein the engagement arrangement of the first portion is arranged to engage with the engagement arrangement of the second portion, and wherein the aerosol provision device is configured to be in a first activation mode when the engagement arrangement of the first portion is not engaged with the engagement arrangement of the second portion, and wherein the aerosol provision device is configured to be in a second activation mode when the engagement arrangement of the first portion is engaged with the engagement arrangement of the second portion.
