Description

DESCRIPTION
U-JOINT JOINING SYSTEM
Technical Field
The invention relates to a joining system used in products that require mobility, such as earrings, handcuffs, bracelets, bracelets in the jewel, jewellery and jewelry-making industry.
In particular, the invention relates to a U-joint joining system that prevents the problems of swaying, deformation and breakage due to wear, experienced in the assembly process of products such as earrings, cuffs, bracelets, bracelets that require mobility.
Known State of Art
In the jewel, jewellery and jewelry-making (goldsmithery) industry, connection systems are used that carry out the opening and closing process of products with mobility on them, such as earrings, cuffs, bracelets, bracelets, or that allow the jewelry pieces to move by connecting them to each other without disturbing the integrity of the jewelry.
In the current technique, in the jewelry and gem industry, a pin joining system, also known as the sleeve (§arnel) joining method, is used in the production of products such as earrings, cuffs, bracelets, and bracelets, in the connection of the main parts that make up the jewelry. Figure 1 shows the current technical connection system (M) of an earring. In said current technical connection system (M), pin wire (M3) is used to connect a first part (M1 ) and a second part (M2) to each other. Pin wire (M3) made of materials such as gold, steel, silver, iron, titanium is passed into the hole drilled on the said first piece (M1 ) and the second piece (M2). Figure 2 shows the current technical connection system (M) of a bracelet. Likewise, in the current technical connection system (M) applied to the bracelet, pin wire (M3) is used to connect a first part (M1 ) and a second part (M2) to each other. Pin wire (M3) is passed into the hole drilled on the said first piece (M1 ) and the second piece (M2).
In the current technical connection system (M), which is applied in the production of products such as earrings, cuffs, bracelets, bracelets in the jewel and jewelery (gem) industry, the first piece (M1 ) and the second piece (M2) are assembled to each other by the process of lapping the first piece (M1 ) and the second piece (M2) together. After this stage, the pin wire (M3) is inserted into the hole in the first part (M1 ) and the second part (M2) and the assembly is made. However, this method does not prevent the first part (M1 ) and the second part (M2) from swinging left and right. This causes problems such as deformation and breakage of the pin wire (M3) in the products (jewelry and jewelery such as earrings, cuffs, bracelets, necklaces) due to wear. The method in question also makes it difficult for the first part (M1 ) and the second part (M2) to be locked to each other after assembly, as they are not rigid. On the other hand, after the pin wire (M3) is passed through the mounting hole on the right or left of the product during the assembly phase, the excess is closed by welding or laser method. However, after these closing processes, flicks (holes, stains, etc.) may occur on the right and left outer surfaces of the final product. Cleaning these problematic surfaces also causes extra time loss and sometimes the product is scrapped by causing surface defects that cannot be corrected. In addition, the existing technical connection system (M) does not allow any stone (such as diamond, zircon, etc.) to be set or applied on the joint (joint) area of the products. For this reason, the surface of the mentioned joint (joint) area is left blank.
In earrings where the current technical connection system (M) is applied, the pin wire (M3) inside the earring is not properly attached in the joint (joint) region, causing it to wobble from left to right. In addition, due to the softness of the gold mine and the thinness of the pin wire (M3), there is a problem of easily eroding and wandering around. Therefore, as a result of deformation due to the force applied while the earring is being put on and taken off, problems of wandering to the right and left are encountered.
The document numbered CN213664021 can be shown as an example of the state of the art in the research conducted in the literature. The said document relates to a collar comprising a first half collar and a second half collar. In the present invention, the first end of the first half collar is hinged to the first end of the second half collar. The second end of the first half collar is detachably locked to the second end of the second half collar by means of a secondary positioning and locking structure, and a clasp insert is placed at the second end of the first half collar surrounding the first half collar to form a seat. In the process of hinged the first end of the said first half ring to the first end of the second half ring, the traditional cylindrical coupling method with pins was applied. As a result, the existence of the above problems and the inadequacy of the existing solutions made it necessary to make an improvement in the relevant technical field.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed explanation, the preferred alternatives of the inventive joining system (A) are explained only for a better understanding of the subject matter and without any limiting effect.
Figure 3 shows the disassembled view of the joining system (A) which is the subject of the invention. Accordingly, the joining system (A) in its most basic form; female part (10) forming part of the jewelry product, having a body (1 1 ) of circular form at its end, a male part (20) which is joined with the female part (10) to form the other part of the jewelry product and has a circular coupling hub (21 ) at its end that engages into the body (1 1 ),a locking pin (30) that enters through a first hole (12) on the body (1 1 ) of the female part (10) and passing through the circular U bearing (22) on the coupling hub (21 ) exits through a second hole (13) on the body (1 1 ) of the female part (10) and connects the female part (10) and the male part (20).
The joining system (A) which is the subject of the invention ensures that a female piece (10) and a male piece (20) that make up the jewelry product are articulated to each other. Accordingly, at the end of the female part (10), there is a body (11 ) in circular form and through its center a hole (1 1 1 ) on the horizontal axis. A first hole (12) and a second hole (13) are formed on the said body (1 1 ), through which the locking pin (30) will pass obliquely.
At the end of the male part (20), there is a coupling hub (21 ) in circular form, which passes through the hole (11 1 ) in the body (1 1 ) of the female part (10). By passing the said coupling hub (21 ) through the hole (1 11 ) in the body (1 1 ), the female part (10) and the male part (20) are joined together as in figure 4.
A circular U-bearing (22) is formed on the coupling hub (21 ) in order to fix (secure) the female part (10) and the male part (20), which is seen from a different angle in Figure 5 and are joined by interlocking. The said circular U bearing (21 ) is in the form of a hollow on the coupling hub (21 ) and continues in a U shape and does not complete the full rotation. There is a stopper (23) at the rear of the circular U- bearing (22) that prevents the female part (10) and the male part (20) from rotating too much during the opening and closing.
In order to fix (secure) the female part (10) and the male part (20) together, a lock pin (30) is inserted through a first hole (12) on the body (1 1 ) of the female part (10) as seen in figure 6, and the locking pin (30) entering through the first hole (12) passes through the circular U bearing (21 ) on the coupling hub (21 ) and exit from the lower/bottom side (surface) of the jewelry product through the second hole (13), as seen in figure 8.
Figure 7 shows the locking pin (30) inserted through the first hole (12) and the second hole (13) on the body (1 1 ) of the female part (10).
The locking pin (30) ensures that the female part (10) and the male part (20) are connected to each other by being fixing them with zero tolerance of left and right play..
The locking pin (30), which comes out of the inner and lower surfaces of the jewelry product, is fixed by laser, welding or gluing, and it is prevented from being dislodged. After the locking pin (30) is fixed in place, the excess edges coming out of the inner and lower surfaces of the jewelry product are cleaned by leveling.
The flicks and stains that may occur in the jewelry product due to the lock pin (30) are difficult to see, as they are located inside and on the bottom of the product.
