Description

Paper containers

The present invention relates to a paper container for storing liquid contents.

Conventionally, a paper container for storing liquid contents such as milk, juice, or alcohol has been widely used, which is made of paperboard material with thermoplastic resin laminated on the front and back sides, has four body panels connected together via vertical fold lines, and has edges joined by vertical seal panels to form a rectangular body. The upper ends of the body panels are connected to a pair of gable roof forming panels facing each other and having an outer top seal panel at their upper parts, and a pair of gable wall forming panels facing each other and having an inner top seal panel at their upper parts, one of which serves as a pouring outlet and can be opened. The pair of gable wall forming panels are folded between the pair of gable roof forming panels, and the outer top seal panel and the inner top seal panel are heated and sealed at predetermined positions to form a hermetic top, forming a gable roof type paper container (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

When pouring liquid contents from such a gable roof type paper container, the body is generally held from the rear panel side by grasping the right and left side panels with fingers, with the body panel located on the side of the pouring outlet formed at the top being the front panel out of the four body panels.

The spout of such a gable roof-shaped paper container is opened by peeling away the heat-sealed opposing surfaces of the outer top seal panel and the inner top seal panel on the side of the gable wall forming panel that forms the spout, pulling out the gable wall forming panel that is folded between the pair of gable roof forming panels, and folding it back outward from the top horizontal fold line at the boundary with the body panel that is connected via the top horizontal fold line to open the spout.

However, with the above-mentioned paper container, when the body is gripped to pour the liquid contents, the body is gripped from the rear panel side by pinching the right and left side panels with the fingers as described above, so the amount of finger contact with the right and left side panels when gripping them is affected by the width of the rear panel of the body. For example, when the rear panel of the body is particularly wide, i.e. in the case of a paper container with a large capacity and a wide body, the amount of finger contact with the right and left side panels is small and strong force is required at the fingertips, and there are cases where the gripping force is insufficient and it is difficult to grip, particularly for women and children with relatively short fingers or weak strength.

Furthermore, in the above-mentioned paper container, the spout formed by pulling out the gable wall forming panel that is folded between a pair of gable roof forming panels has a diamond shape that is long in the horizontal direction, and the opening area of the spout is small. In addition, when pouring, the liquid contents flow out in a horizontally spreading state, making it difficult to pour, which was a problem.

The object of the present invention is to provide a paper container that allows the user to securely grip and pour liquid contents even when the container has a large capacity and a wide body, and that has a spout that opens wide vertically when pouring liquid contents, making it easy to pour the liquid contents.

In order to achieve the above object, the invention described in claim 1 is a container made of a paperboard material having thermoplastic resin laminated on the front and back surfaces, and has four body panels connected together via vertical fold lines of the body, the edges of which are joined by a vertical seal panel to form a rectangular body, and a pair of gable roof forming panels facing each other and having an outer top seal panel at the top, and a pair of gable wall forming panels facing each other and having an inner top seal panel at the top, one of which serves as a pouring outlet and can be opened, are connected together via a top horizontal fold line at the upper end of the body panels, and the pair of gable wall forming panels are folded between the pair of gable roof forming panels, and the outer top seal panel and the inner top seal panel are heated at a predetermined position to seal the container. In a gable roof-shaped paper container in which the top is formed by sealing the container, when the one of the four body panels to which the gable wall forming panel that serves as the pouring outlet and is opened is connected is the body front panel, the body back panel, which is the body panel to which the other gable wall forming panel is connected, has two first fold lines that connect to two base points set in the vertical direction along the left and right body vertical fold lines on or near the left and right body vertical fold lines of the body back panel and bulge toward the inside in the width direction of the body back panel, and the left body side panel and the right body side panel have anti-slip lines that extend vertically in the horizontal direction.

According to the invention described in claim 1, when the body panel to which one of the gable wall forming panels that serves as a pouring outlet and is opened is connected to is the body front panel, the body panel to which the other gable wall forming panel is connected is formed with two first fold lines that are connected to two base points set in the up-down direction along the left and right vertical fold lines on or near the left and right vertical fold lines of the body back panel and bulge toward the inside in the width direction of the body back panel, so that when pouring out the liquid content, the body is pressed by grasping with fingers from the left and right at the intersection points between the left and right vertical fold lines of the left and right vertical fold lines of the body back panel and imaginary lines extending horizontally from the vertices of the first fold lines As a result, the torso back panel is mountain-folded from the two first fold lines, and the torso back panel side of the torso is easily crushed and recessed at the virtual intersections of the left and right torso vertical fold lines of the torso back panel and virtual lines extending horizontally from the apexes of the first fold lines. As a result, the left and right torso side panels are also recessed, and the torso back panel has a minimum width between the apexes of the two first fold lines, and a concave portion is formed in the torso that gradually widens toward the left and right torso vertical fold lines of the torso front panel. By grasping the concave portion, a wide area can be placed over the left and right torso side panels, making it easy to grip the torso.

In addition, the concave surfaces of the left and right side panels of the body are inclined in a narrower width direction toward the back panel of the body, but the left and right side panels of the body have anti-slip lines that extend vertically and laterally, so that fingers gripping the concave surfaces of the left and right side panels of the body will catch on the anti-slip lines, preventing the paper container from slipping off the fingers.

The invention described in claim 2 is characterized in that the first fold line described in claim 1 is formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape with the maximum bulge position as its apex.

According to the invention described in claim 2, the first fold line is formed in a generally elliptical arc shape with the maximum bulge position as its apex, so that when the torso is pinched and pressed at the virtual intersections of the left and right torso vertical fold lines of the torso back panel with virtual lines extending horizontally from the respective apexes of the first fold line, the back front panel is easily mountain-folded from the two first fold lines.

The invention described in claim 3 is characterized in that the apexes of the first fold lines described in claim 1 or 2 are located at approximately the middle position in the vertical direction of the back panel of the torso.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of a paper container according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
1 to 11 show a first example of an embodiment of a paper container according to the present invention, in which Fig. 1 is a perspective view from the rear side showing the paper container of the first example, Fig. 2 is a front view of the paper container shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a left side view of the paper container shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 4 is a right side view of the paper container shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 5 is a rear view of the paper container shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 6 is a plan view showing a carton blank of the paper container shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 7 is a right side view of the paper container shown in Fig. 1 with the spout open, Fig. 8 is an explanatory diagram showing the operation of crushing the rear panel side of the body of the paper container shown in Fig. 7 from both sides, Fig. 9 is a rear view of the paper container after the rear panel side of the body of the paper container has been crushed from both sides by the operation shown in Fig. 8, Fig. 10 is a right side view of the paper container shown in Fig. 9, and Fig. 11 is an explanatory diagram showing the state in which the body of the paper container shown in Fig. 10 is grasped and gripped.

The paper container 1 of the first example is formed from a carton blank 2, which is a paperboard material with thermoplastic resin laminated on the front and back sides as shown in FIG. 6. The carton blank has four body panels 6, 7, 8, 9 connected via body vertical fold lines 3, 4, 5. When the paper container 1 is formed, the four body panels 6, 7, 8, 9 are joined to the edge 12 of the body panel 6 and a vertical seal panel 11 connected to the body panel 9 via the body vertical fold line 10, forming a square tubular body 13 of the paper container 1.

A pair of opposing gable roof forming panels 16, 17 having outer top seal panels 14, 15 at their upper parts are connected to the upper ends of the body panels 6, 8 via top horizontal fold lines 18, 19, and a pair of opposing gable wall forming panels 22, 23 having inner top seal panels 20, 21 at their upper parts are connected to the upper ends of the body panels 7, 9 via top horizontal fold lines 24, 25, and the gable wall forming panels 22, 23 are folded between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17, and the outer top seal panels 14, 15 and the inner top seal panels 20, 21 are heated and sealed at predetermined positions to form a top 26.
Then, one of the gable wall forming panels 22, 23 folded between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17 is pulled out and opened to form the spout 27. In this example, the gable wall forming panel 22 is the gable wall forming panel on the opening side.

The gable roof forming panels 16, 17 have guide fold lines 28, 29 formed on the opening side of the gable wall forming panel 22 to guide the folding of the gable roof forming panels 16, 17 when opened.

The gable wall forming panels 22, 23 are formed with folding creases 30, 31, 32, 33 for folding the gable wall forming panels 22, 23, and approximately triangular surface portions 34, 35 are formed surrounded by the folding creases 30, 31, 32, 33 and the top horizontal fold creases 24, 25.

In addition, bottom panels 38, 39 are connected to the lower ends of body panels 7, 9 via bottom horizontal fold lines 36, 37, and inner panels 42, 43 are connected to the lower ends of body panels 6, 8 via bottom horizontal fold lines 40, 41, and the inner panels 42, 43 are folded and sealed inside the bottom panels 38, 39 to form the bottom 44.

Furthermore, when the body panel 7 to which the gable wall forming panel 22 that is opened to form the pouring outlet 27 is connected among the four body panels 6, 7, 8, 9 is connected to the body front panel 45, that is, the body panel 7 located on the pouring outlet 27 side, the body back panel 46 (body panel 9) has two first fold lines 47, 48 formed on the body back panel 46 that are connected to two base points P1, P2 set in the up and down direction along the left and right body vertical fold lines 5, 10 on or near the left and right body vertical fold lines 5, 10, and bulge inward in the width direction of the body back panel 46.

The length between base point P1, which is the upper end of the first fold lines 47, 48 set in the vertical direction along the body vertical fold lines 5, 10, and base point P2, which is the lower end, is not particularly limited, but is preferably at least 1/5 to 1/3 of the length of the body vertical fold lines 5, 10. If the length of the distance between base point P1 and base point P2, which is the lower end, is 1/5 or more of the length of the body vertical fold lines 5, 10, the mountain fold from the first fold lines 47, 48 of the body back panel 46 can be easily performed, as described below. Furthermore, if the length exceeds 1/3, the deformation of the body 13 becomes too large, and the paper container 1 may become difficult to grip.

In the first example, the first fold lines 47, 48 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape with the apex T1 at the maximum bulge position. Also, the apex T1 of each of the first fold lines 47, 48 is located at approximately the middle position in the vertical direction of the torso back panel 47.

In the first example, the first fold lines 47, 48 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape, but are not limited to this shape as long as the maximum bulge position is at the apex T1. For example, they may be in the shape of a V-shaped bent arc or a polygonal arc, and may not be limited to a continuous line but may be a segmented discontinuous line.

The width dimension L1 from the body vertical fold lines 5, 10 to the apex T1 of the first fold lines 47, 48 is not particularly limited, and is appropriately set according to the thickness of the body 13, i.e., the width dimension L2 of the body back panel 46, so that, as described below, when pouring, the imaginary intersection points Y1, Y2 between the imaginary lines X1, X2 extending horizontally from the apex T1 of each of the first fold lines 47, 48 on the left and right body vertical fold lines 5, 10 on the left and right body back panel 46 are grasped with the fingers from the left and right and pressed down to dent the body left side panel 49 (body panel 6) and the body right side panel 50 (body panel 8), making it easier to grasp the body 13.

In addition, anti-slip creases 51, 52 extending vertically are formed in the horizontal direction on the left and right torso side panels 49, 50 of the torso 13. The anti-slip creases 51, 52 are arranged so as to be located in the recessed parts of the left and right torso side panels 49, 50 when the left and right torso vertical fold creases 5, 10 on the left and right torso back panel 46 are pinched with fingers from the left and right at the imaginary intersection points Y1, Y2 with imaginary lines X1, X2 extending horizontally from the vertices T1 of the first fold creases 47, 48. There are no particular limitations on the number, shape, or length of the anti-slip creases.

In the first example, the torso front panel 45 of the torso 13 is formed with a downward arc-shaped second fold line 53 whose end is located at or near the upper ends of the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the torso front panel 45 of the torso 13.

The gable wall forming panel 22 and the body front panel 45 are formed with a pair of spout forming auxiliary fold lines 54, 55 that extend vertically at a distance from the imaginary line X3, which hangs down from the apex of the approximately triangular surface portion 34 formed on the gable wall forming panel 22, on either side of the imaginary line X3. The distance between the spout forming auxiliary fold lines 54, 55 increases as they move from top to bottom. The upper ends of the spout forming auxiliary fold lines 54, 55 reach the folding lines 30, 31 formed on the gable wall forming panel 22, and the lower ends cross the body second fold line 53 and reach the body vertical fold lines 3, 4 on the left and right of the front panel 45.

In addition, the body front panel 45 is formed with an upwardly curved third fold line 56, whose left and right ends are located lower than the lower ends of the auxiliary fold lines 54, 55 for forming the spout, and at or near the vertical center or higher than the center of the vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body.

In addition, a fourth fold line 57 is formed on the approximately triangular surface portion 34 of the gable wall forming panel 22 and the body front panel 45, hanging down from the apex of the approximately triangular surface portion 34 across the apex horizontal fold line 24 and the second fold line 53 on the imaginary line X3 to the third fold line 56.

When pouring liquid contents from the first example of the paper container 1 constructed as described above, first, insert your fingers into the space formed between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17, the body front panel 45, and the gable wall forming panel 22, peel off the heat-sealed opposing surfaces of the outer top seal panels 14, 15 and the inner top seal panels 20, 21 on the gable wall forming panel 22 side that forms the pouring outlet 27, and pull out the gable wall forming panel 22 that is folded between the pair of gable roof forming panels 16, 17 to open the pouring outlet 27 (see Figure 7).

When opening the spout 27, in this example, the top corner 58 of the body 13 formed by folding the top horizontal fold line 24 is pressed toward the inside of the paper container 1,
The body front panel 45 is folded at the second fold line 53, and the top corner 58 is recessed toward the inside of the paper container 1. This widens the space formed between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17, the body front panel 45, and the gable wall forming panel 22, making it easier to insert fingers.

When the gable wall forming panel 22, which is folded between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17, is pulled out, the gable wall forming panel 22 and the body front panel 45 make a mountain fold from the fourth fold line 57 and the body front panel 45 makes a valley fold from the third fold line 56, the spout 27 protrudes outward from the paper container 1, and the gable wall forming panel 22 and the body front panel 45 make a mountain fold from the spout forming auxiliary fold lines 54, 55, and the tip side of the open spout 27 spreads out horizontally, making it easier to drink from the spout 27 when used as a drinking spout.

Once the spout 27 has been opened in this manner, as shown in FIG. 8, the body 13 is pressed by pinching with fingers from the left and right at the imaginary intersection points Y1, Y2 of the imaginary lines X1, X2 extending horizontally from the vertices T of the first fold lines 47, 48 on the left and right body vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the body back panel 46.

As a result, the torso back panel 46 is mountain folded along the two first fold lines 47, 48, and the torso back panel 46 side of the torso 13 is easily crushed and dented at the imaginary intersection points Y1, Y2 of the left and right torso vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the torso back panel 46 and the imaginary lines X1, X2 extending horizontally from the vertices T1 of the first fold lines 47, 48, respectively, of the torso back panel 46, and accordingly the torso left side panel 49 and the torso right side panel 50 are also dented. In the torso 13, the torso back panel 46 has a minimum width between the vertices T1 of the first fold lines 47, 48, and the torso front panel 45 has a concave portion 59 that gradually widens toward the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 (see Figures 9 and 10). By grasping the concave portion 59, a wide area can be placed on the torso left side panel 49 and the torso right side panel 50, making it easy to grip the torso 13 (see Figure 11).

In addition, in the case of the body 13 in which the body vertical fold lines 5, 10 and the first fold lines 47, 48 are crushed and concave from the virtual intersection points Y1, Y2, the body back panel 46 has a minimum width between the vertices T of the first fold lines 47, 48, and a concave portion 59 is formed whose width gradually widens toward the left and right body vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body front panel 45. The concave portion 59 is inclined toward the narrower width toward the body back panel 46, but since the left body side panel 49 and the right body side panel 50 have anti-slip lines 51, 52 formed in the horizontal direction that extend vertically, fingers gripping the concave portions 59 of the left body side panel 49 and the right body side panel 50 will catch on the anti-slip lines 51, 52, preventing the paper container 1 from slipping off the fingers.

In this example, the anti-slip lines 51, 52 are each formed with three lines (multiple lines). By forming multiple anti-slip lines 51, 52, the anti-slip effect can be further improved.

In the first example, the first fold lines 47, 48 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape with the maximum bulge position at vertex T1, so that when the torso 13 is pressed against the left and right torso vertical fold lines 5, 10 at the left and right torso back panel 46 at the imaginary intersection points Y1, Y2 with the imaginary lines X1, X2 extending laterally from the vertices T1 of the first fold lines 47, 48, the back front panel 46 is easily mountain folded at the first fold lines 47, 48.

In addition, the apex T1 of each of the first fold lines 47, 48 is located approximately in the vertical center of the body back panel 46, so that the concave portion 59 is formed approximately in the vertical center of the body 13, allowing the paper container 1 to be gripped in a stable state when pouring.

The paper container 1 of the second example will be described with the same components as those of the first example being given the same reference numerals.
The paper container 1 of the second example is formed from a carton blank 2, which is a paperboard material having a thermoplastic resin laminated on the front and back sides as shown in Fig. 17. As in the first example, the carton blank has four body panels 6, 7, 8, and 9 connected via body vertical fold lines 3, 4, and 5. When the paper container 1 is formed, the four body panels 6, 7, 8, and 9 are joined at the edge 12 of the body panel 6 to a vertical seal panel 11 connected to the body panel 9 via a body vertical fold line 10, thereby forming a square tubular body 13 of the paper container 1.

In the first example, the gable wall forming panel 22 is the gable wall forming panel on the opening side.

Furthermore, when the body panel 7 to which the gable wall forming panel 22 that is opened to form the pouring outlet 27 is connected among the four body panels 6, 7, 8, 9 is defined as the body front panel 45, that is, the body panel 7 located on the pouring outlet 27 side, two fifth fold lines 60, 61 are formed on the body front panel 45, which are connected to two base points P3, P4 set at or near the upper and lower ends of the left and right body vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body front panel 45 and bulge inward in the width direction of the body front panel 45.

The horizontal dimension L3 from the body vertical fold lines 3, 4 to the apex T2 of the fifth fold lines 60, 61 is preferably 20% to 30% of the horizontal dimension L2 of the body front panel 45. If the horizontal dimension L3 from the body vertical fold lines 3, 4 to the apex T2 of the fifth fold lines 60, 61 is 20% to 30% of the horizontal dimension L4 of the body front panel 45, as described below, when pouring, the body 13 is pressed so as to pinch the body vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body front panel 45 from the left and right, and the amount of forward projection of the portion of the body front panel 45 surrounded by the fifth fold lines 60, 61 is the amount of projection that opens the spout 27 of the paper container 1 wide vertically and gives the spout 27 an opening shape that makes pouring easier.

The apex T2 of the fifth fold lines 60, 61 is located in the middle of two base points P3, P4 set at or near the top and bottom ends of the body vertical fold lines 3, 4. In the second example, the fifth fold lines 60, 61 are formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape with the apex T2 at the maximum bulge position.

In the second example, the fifth fold lines 60, 61 are formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape, but are not limited to this shape as long as the maximum bulge position is the apex T2. For example, they may be V-shaped, arc-shaped, or polygonal arc-shaped, and may not be continuous but may be interrupted discontinuous lines.

In the second example, sixth fold lines 62, 63 are formed that extend horizontally from or near the apex T2 of each of the fifth fold lines 60, 61 of the torso front panel 45 toward the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4, straddling the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4, and reaching parts of the left torso side panel 49 (torso panel 6) and the right torso side panel 50 (torso panel 8).

Furthermore, in the second example, two seventh fold lines 64, 65 are formed on the torso back panel 46 (torso panel 9) of the torso 13, which are connected to two base points P5, P6 set in the up-down direction along the left and right torso vertical fold lines 5, 10 on or near the left and right torso vertical fold lines 5, 10 (edges 12) of the torso back panel 46 and bulge inward in the width direction of the torso back panel 46.

The apex T3 of each of the seventh fold lines 64, 65 is at roughly the same horizontal position as the apex T2 of each of the fifth fold lines 60, 61. In the second example, the seventh fold lines 64, 65 are formed in a roughly elliptical arc shape with the apex T3 at the maximum bulge position.

In the second example, the seventh fold lines 64, 65 are formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape, but like the fifth fold lines 60, 61, the shape is not limited to this as long as it has a maximum bulge position at apex T3. For example, the shape may be a V-shape, a square arc shape, or a polygonal square arc shape, and the shape may not be limited to a continuous line but may be a segmented discontinuous line.

It is preferable that the horizontal width dimension L5 from the vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the torso to the vertex T3 of the seventh fold lines 64, 64 is 15% to 30% of the horizontal width dimension L6 of the torso back panel 46. If the width dimension L5 from the torso vertical fold lines 5, 9 to the apex T3 of the seventh fold lines 64, 65 is 15% to 30% of the width dimension L6 of the torso back panel 46, as described below, the amount of dent when the imaginary intersection points Y3, Y4 of the left and right torso vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the torso back panel 46 and the imaginary lines X4, X5 extending horizontally from the apex T3 of each of the seventh fold lines 64, 65 are grasped with fingers from the left and right and crushed, the amount of dent is approximately the same as the amount of dent when the torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the torso front panel 45 are grasped from the left and right and crushed, so that the torso 13 has a continuous central recessed shape with approximately the same amount of dent from the torso front panel 45 through the torso left side panel 49 and right side panel 50 to the torso back panel 46 (see Figures 22 and 23), and the recessed portion can be easily grasped.

In the second example, multiple anti-slip lines 66, 67 are formed on the left side panel 49 and the right side panel 50 of the torso 13 at the tip side of the sixth fold lines 62, 63 and extend vertically toward the torso back panel 46. The anti-slip lines 66, 67 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape.

In the second example, the anti-slip lines 66, 67 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape, but they may also be straight lines, V-shaped, arc-shaped, or polygonal arc-shaped, and may not be continuous lines but may be interrupted continuous lines. It is preferable to form multiple anti-slip lines 66, 67, but only one may be used.

In the second example, an eighth fold line 68 is formed in the torso front panel 45 of the torso 13, and has an end located at or near the upper ends of the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the torso front panel 45 of the torso 13. A ninth fold line 69 is formed in the approximately triangular surface portion 34 of the torso front panel 45 and the gable wall forming panel 22 connected to the torso front panel 45, and is a straight line extending from the lowest point of the center of the eighth fold line 68, straddling the apex horizontal fold line 24, and extending toward the apex of the approximately triangular surface portion 34.

When pouring liquid contents from the second example of the paper container 1 constructed as described above, first, insert your fingers into the space between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17, the body front panel 45, and the gable wall forming panel 22, peel off the heat-sealed opposing surfaces of the outer top seal panels 14, 15 and the inner top seal panel 20 on the gable wall forming panel 22 side that forms the pouring outlet 27, and pull out the gable wall forming panel 22 that is folded between the pair of gable roof forming panels 16, 17 to open the pouring outlet 27.

When opening the spout 27, in the second example, the top corner 58 of the body 13 formed by folding the top horizontal fold line 24 is pressed toward the inside of the paper container 1, so that the approximately triangular surface portion 34 of the body front panel 45 and the gable wall forming panel 22 connected to the body front panel 45 is valley folded from the ninth fold line 69, the body front panel 45 is mountain folded from the eighth fold line 68, and the top corner 58 is recessed toward the inside of the paper container 1. This widens the space between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17, the body front panel 45, and the gable wall forming panel 22, making it easier to insert fingers.

Once the spout 27 has been opened in this way, as shown in FIG. 18, the body 13 is pressed by pinching the intersections 70, 71 of the left and right body vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body front panel 45 with the sixth fold lines 62, 63 with the fingers from the left and right.

The sixth fold lines 62, 63 extend horizontally from or near the apex T2 of each of the fifth fold lines 60, 61 of the torso front panel 45 toward the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4, straddling the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4, and reaching parts of the torso left side panel 49 and the torso right side panel 50. Therefore, by pressing the torso vertical fold lines 3, 4, the torso front panel 45 side of the torso 13 is easily crushed from the intersections 70, 71 of the torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 and the sixth fold lines 62, 63 (see Figure 19).

As a result, the torso front panel 45 is mountain-folded from the two fifth fold lines 60, 61. In the second example, the fifth fold lines 60, 61 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape with the maximum bulge position as the apex T2, so that the torso front panel 45 can be easily mountain-folded from the fifth fold lines 60, 61.

By folding the body front panel 45 from the fifth fold lines 60, 61 in this way, the portion of the body front panel 45 enclosed by the two fifth fold lines 60, 61 protrudes forward (see Figure 20). As a result, the opening of the spout 27 opens wide vertically, making it easier to pour out the liquid contents.

In the second example, two seventh fold lines 64, 65 are formed on the body rear panel 46 of the body 13, which are connected to two base points P5, P6 set in the up-down direction along the left and right body vertical fold lines 5, 10 on or near the left and right body vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the body rear panel 46, and bulge toward the inside in the width direction of the body rear panel 46. The apex T3 of each of the seventh fold lines 64, 64 is roughly in the same position horizontally as the apex T2 of each of the fifth fold lines 60, 61, so that the pouring from the open pouring spout 27 is possible. When pouring out the liquid contents, the intersections 70, 71 of the sixth fold lines 62, 63 on the vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body front panel 45 of the body 13 are pinched and crushed with fingers from the left and right, and then the imaginary intersections Y3, Y4 of the seventh fold lines 64, 65 on the left and right vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the body back panel 46 with imaginary lines X4, X5 extending horizontally from the vertices T3 are pinched and crushed with fingers from the left and right (see Figure 21) (see Figure 22).

As a result, the torso back panel 46 is mountain folded at the seventh fold lines 64, 65, and the torso back panel 46 side of the torso 13 is crushed at the imaginary intersection points Y3, Y4 of the torso vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the torso back panel 46 and the imaginary lines X4, X5 extending horizontally from the apex T3 of each of the seventh fold lines 64, 65. This results in the torso 13 having a continuously concave shape in the center from the torso front panel 45 through the torso left side panel 49 and right side panel 50 to the torso back panel 46 (see Figures 22 and 23), making it easy to grip the torso 13 by grabbing the concave portion (see Figure 24).

In the second example, the seventh fold lines 64, 65 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape with the maximum bulge position being the apex T3, so that the torso back panel 46 can be easily mountain folded from the seventh fold lines 64, 65.

In the second example, multiple anti-slip lines 66, 67 are formed on the left side panel 49 and right side panel 50 of the body 13 at the tip side of the sixth fold lines 62, 63 and extend vertically toward the back panel 46 of the body. When pouring liquid contents, the concave parts of the left side panel 49 and right side panel 50 of the body 13 are grasped, but the fingers will get caught on the anti-slip lines 66, 67 formed on the left side panel 49 and right side panel 50 of the body, which effectively prevents the paper container 1 from slipping off the fingers, making it easy to pour the liquid contents.
