- the paper-based material may comprise a corrugated layer with flutes. The flutes of the corrugated layer may extend along the longitudinal direction L. However, the flutes of the corrugated layer may alternatively extend along the transversal direction T.
- the blank 1 may be made of any material normally used in the art for packaging. By way of example, the blank 1 may be made of plastic or wood.
- the blank 1 may be provided with through-going holes, openings, or the like, acting as handles 25b, 35b which e.g., may be used to facilitate tearing along the perforations 25, 35.
- the handles 25b, 35b may e.g., be provided as small through-going openings in the second and third main panels 20, 30, the small openings 25b, 35b having a part of its circumference coinciding with the perforations 25, 35.
- Any main panels or panels of the blank 1 may be provided with through-going holes or the like acting as handles for handling the package 200 and/or for facilitating tearing along the perforations 25, 35.
- the material in the handles may still be present, but may be easily pushed inwardly by being defined by a secondary perforation forming a loop around said handles 25b, 35b, and preferably connecting with the perforation 25, 35.
