Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hub of a medical lifting thread insertion device, and more particularly, to a hub which can prevent the lifting thread from being twisted or broken due to unnecessary catching/fixing of a specific cog inside the insertion device during a procedure of inserting and pulling a lifting thread with a cog formed therein into body tissue, and also prevent lifting from being properly implemented in body tissue at a target point.
- cannula is a tube inserted into the body, a medical device used to pass liquid or air.
- cannulas are used for a variety of purposes, including aspirating pathological fluids from the thoracic or abdominal cavities, inserting them into blood vessels to collect blood, inserting them into the trachea during tracheostomy, and for respiration.
- cannulas are used to inject fillers as well as lifting threads into body tissues, mainly facial tissues, and cannulas used to insert lifting threads are sometimes called medical lifting thread insertion devices.
- These medical lifting thread insertion devices include a needle that is inserted into body tissue and a hub that acts as a handle.
- a lifting procedure using a medical thread lifting insertion device involves inserting the lifting thread into the body tissue with the tip exposed to the outside while accommodating it in the device, then pulling in the opposite direction of the insertion direction so that the exposed part is fixed to the body tissue, that is, acts as an anchor point, and lifting the body tissue in the direction of pulling using this as a starting point, with only the needle coming out of the body tissue.
- the cog formed in the lifting thread may become caught in the hollow space within the needle, which may cause the lifting thread to break or become tangled.
- a sealed needle cannula device having a proximal end cap Korean Patent No. 1478381, comprises a needle insertion device having a catheter assembly and a needle guard housing that seals the needle cannula in a shielded position and a needle support that supports the needle cannula for movement from a ready position where the tip of the needle cannula is exposed to a shielded position within the needle guard housing.
- the gripping member has the characteristic of providing a role for moving the needle cannula by the pushing action of the finger and acting as a handle, but has the limitation of not being able to provide a separate pressing action or to achieve any special control over the thread accommodated in the needle cannula through this pressing action.
- the present invention has been made to overcome the problems of the above-described technology, and in order to solve the problem of not being able to efficiently lift the body tissue on the opposite side due to the unnecessary catching action of the cog during the pulling procedure of a lifting thread equipped with a cog, particularly a lifting thread having a cog formed at the rear end with no directionality and a large surface area based on the insertion direction of the lifting thread, the main purpose of the present invention is to provide a hub having a function of temporarily fixing the portion of the lifting thread on which the cog is formed by a simple operation of a push handle, thereby preventing the catching action described above and enabling efficient lifting up to the body tissue on the opposite side.
- Another object of the present invention is to efficiently solve various problems that may arise from reaction or resistance according to the pressure of the push handle by specially processing the hollow shape around the push handle.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a structure capable of stably improving the gripping feeling and pressing action of a pressing handle.
- a further object of the present invention is to provide a means for stably securing the rear end of the lifting thread while preventing the problem of the rear end of the insertion device not being properly secured to the rear end of the hub when the insertion device is first shipped.
- the hub of the medical lifting thread insertion device is characterized by including: a front end having a first hollow portion for accommodating a portion of a lifting thread; a rear end having a second hollow portion integrally formed with the front end at a rear end of the front end and communicating with the first hollow portion for accommodating the remainder of the lifting thread; and a pressing handle provided on an outer surface of the front end at a boundary portion with the front end at the rear end and reducing the volume of the second hollow portion when pressed.
- the push handle of the hub of the present invention includes a standing portion that stands up at a predetermined height from the front end side of the rear end, which is a boundary portion with the front end, a horizontal portion that extends parallel to the rear end from an end of the standing portion, and a rounding extension portion that extends downward while being concavely rounded in height toward the end direction of the rear end from an end of the horizontal portion, and the protrusion is characterized in that it is formed on the front end side of the rounding extension portion.
- the end portion of the rear end is characterized by having a plurality of slits cut at regular intervals along the circumference.
- the unique structure of the push handle not only ensures the operator's stable grip and the operation of the insertion device, but also

- Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure before and after operation of the push handle of the hub of the present invention.
- Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of a facial lifting thread insertion for explaining the operating principle of the hub of the present invention.
- Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the end portion of the rear end of the hub of the present invention.
- the present invention provides a hub having a function of temporarily fixing a portion of a lifting thread on which the cog is formed by simply operating a push handle to prevent the aforementioned catching action, thereby efficiently lifting up to the opposite body tissue, in order to solve the problem of not being able to efficiently lift up the opposite body tissue due to unnecessary catching action of the cog during a pulling procedure of a lifting thread having a cog, particularly a lifting thread having a cog formed at a rear portion with no directionality and a large surface area based on the insertion direction of the lifting thread.
- the best mode for carrying out the invention is to provide a hub having the function of efficiently lifting up to the opposite body tissue, by temporarily fixing the portion of the lifting thread on which the cog is formed, by simply operating a push handle, thereby preventing the aforementioned catching action.
- Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing the appearance of a hub of the present invention
- Fig. 2 is a front view of Fig. 1.
- a medical thread insertion device for inserting lifting thread into the face, especially for lifting body tissues such as the face, during medical procedures is called a cannula.
- This cannula consists of a needle (tube, needle, or cannula in a narrow sense) with a hollow space into which the thread is inserted and a hub that functions as a handle.
- the hub (100) of the present invention can be said to be a component of a medical thread (particularly a lifting thread) insertion device (hereinafter also referred to as an 'insertion device') made up of such a needle and a hub.
- a medical thread particularly a lifting thread
- insertion device hereinafter also referred to as an 'insertion device'
- the hub (100) of the present invention is based on a structure in which a lifting thread (10) is inserted into a hollow space that is connected to the rear end of the needle and has a volume that can be easily grasped by the operator, in other words, a volume with a diameter larger than that of a needle (cannula in a narrow sense).
- leading edge and trailing edge will appear frequently.
- the term 'leading edge' refers to the front part with respect to the lifting room, and the term 'rear edge' refers to the rear part. In other words, it should be noted in advance that the term 'leading edge/rear edge' does not refer exclusively to the end (the tip).
- the front part combined with the rear end of the needle in the overall structure of the hub (100) is called the front end (110), and the rear part thereof is called the rear end (120).
- This front-and-back structure is depicted as being clearly distinguished in the internal hollow structure illustrated in FIG. 3, which will be described later, rather than in the external structure illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2.
- Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure before and after operation of the push handle of the hub of the present invention.
- the front end (110) and the rear end (120) can be distinguished based on the location where the push handle (130) is installed.
- the tip portion (110) occupies the front portion of the hub (100) while having a first hollow space (111) through which a lifting room (10) passes.
- the rear end (120) is formed integrally with the rear end of the front end (110) without a separate boundary or distinction from the front end (110), and has a second hollow (121) connected to the first hollow (111).
- the overall shape of the first and second hollows (111, 121) may also extend in a straight line.
- a lifting room (10) is accommodated in these first and second hollow spaces (111, 121), with a part (front part) of the lifting room being accommodated in the first hollow space (111) and the remaining part (rear part) of the lifting room being accommodated in the second hollow space (121).
- first and second hollow sections (111, 121) can each have unique shapes, which will be described later with reference to Fig. 3.
- the rear end (120) is preferably made of an elastic material, such as rubber or a known elastic engineering plastic, in order to smoothly provide a function in which the pressing handle (130) to be described later is pressed by the operator, thereby reducing the volume of the second hollow (121) as a result.
- an elastic material such as rubber or a known elastic engineering plastic
- the push handle (130) is installed at the rear end (120) and serves as a position reference for distinguishing the front end (110) and the rear end (120). Specifically, when pressed (when providing push pressure) in a state where it is installed at the outer side of the front end, which is the boundary area between the rear end (120) and the front end (110), it provides a function of pressing the second hollow (121), that is, applying pressure to the surrounding wall of the rear end (120) outside the second hollow (121) to reduce the volume of the second hollow (121), and as a result, it temporarily fixes or holds the lifting thread (10) within the second hollow (121).
- the push handle (130) may include a plurality of protrusions (131) formed at regular intervals along the length direction of the rear end (120).
- these protrusions (131) have a shape that extends a certain length in the longitudinal direction and the vertical direction of the rear end (120).
- This protrusion provides a basis for reinforcing the grip of the hub (100) while preventing the operator from slipping when gripping the hub (100) of the present invention.
- the push handle (130) may include a standing portion (132), a horizontal portion (133), and a rounded extension portion (134).
- the standing part (132) is a part that stands up at a certain height on the front side of the rear part (120), which is the boundary part with the rear part of the front part (110).
- the horizontal portion (133) is a portion that extends parallel to the rear end (120) from the end of the standing portion (132), and is extended with a shorter length than the rounding extension portion (134) described later.
- the rounding extension (134) refers to a portion that extends from the end of the horizontal portion (133) toward the end of the rear end (120) in a concave rounding manner and becoming lower in height.
- the above-described protrusion (131) is formed on the tip side of the rounding extension (134).
- this push handle (130) provides an excellent function of partially converting the gripping force of the hub (100) into a force that pushes the hub in the direction of body tissue while preventing the operator's fingers from slipping.
- the standing part (132) and the horizontal part (133) act as a kind of wall, preventing the finger from coming off the pressing handle (130) and stably ensuring natural finger movement within the pressing handle (130).
- the rear end (120) is slightly longer than the front end (110), but it is not necessarily limited to the structure and length ratio shown in FIG. 3, and the length of the front end (110) and the rear end (120) can of course vary depending on the characteristics of the lifting room (10) and the shape and pattern of the cog formed in the lifting room (10).
- Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of a facial lifting thread insertion device to explain the operating principle of the hub of the present invention.
- Part A is the area where the mouth muscles, etc. are concentrated, and is the area where many wrinkles occur and moves a lot
- Part B is the area of the chin or below the ears, and is the area where there is relatively less movement than Part A.
- the lifting thread insertion device is inserted from part B toward part A, and then pulled in the opposite direction toward B to lift the facial tissue while simultaneously fixing it to the body tissue being lifted or the surrounding tissue.
- the location where the lifting thread is inserted can vary depending on the area of facial tissue where lifting is desired, but there are many cases where part A is lifted to eliminate fine wrinkles around the mouth.
- the lifting thread located in part A must be faithful to the lifting function of preventing sagging in the direction of gravity while minimizing movement under the pressure of facial tissue, and the lifting thread located in part B must be faithful to the role of fixation, that is, as an anchor point, while maximizing contact with facial tissue.
- the surface area of the cog of the lifting room located in part B must be larger than that of the cog of the lifting room located in part A to secure the fixing force of part B.
- the cog on the part A side can have a triangle (right triangle), an ' ⁇ ' cross-sectional shape, etc.
- the cog on the part B side can have a cross-sectional shape such as Y or T that has a larger surface area than the cog on the part A side.
- this lifting thread Based on the structure of this lifting thread, during the procedure where the lifting thread is inserted into the facial tissue and then pulled in the direction of A to B, the cog with a relatively large surface area inside the needle of the insertion device, that is, the cog of the lifting thread located in part B, may get caught in the hollow of the insertion device, which may frequently cause the lifting thread to break or become tangled within the facial tissue. More importantly, since the fixing force is concentrated on part B, there is a problem where part A cannot be lifted efficiently.
- a cog with no directionality and a large surface area such as the T shape shown in section B of Fig. 4, has a large surface area that it touches body tissue, so when pulling sections A and B at the same time, section B is not pulled well due to the problem of being caught, and section A is also not pulled efficiently.
- part B is not pulled well as described above, the pulling force from part B is not properly transmitted to part A and is dispersed, so as a result, part A is not lifted efficiently.
- the hub (100) of the present invention is intended to reliably prevent such problems, and in particular, to faithfully perform lifting of part A, it is specialized for a lifting room (10) with a cog having a larger surface area of part B than that of part A mentioned above, and provides a function to ensure convenience of treatment and treatment effect for the lifting room (10).
- the operator presses the pressing handle (130) to compress the second hollow (121) and temporarily fixes or holds the lifting thread (10) inside (the part where the cog having a shape such as Y or T is located) so as to prevent problems from being caught in the B part itself and properly transmit the pulling force to the A part, so that the cog in the A part can sufficiently lift the facial tissue.
- the hub (100) of the present invention is not necessarily limited to lifting thread treatment with differences in the shape or surface area of the cogs on the A and B sides.
- the hub (100) of the present invention provides a characteristic that can guarantee a stable and reliable lifting effect of a lifting thread (10) having various shapes, particularly a cog shaped like Y, T, etc., whose rear end surface area is larger than that of the front end based on the insertion direction, by pressing the pressing handle (130).
- the first hollow (111) may not be extended in a straight line with the same diameter, but may include a base portion (112) and an expansion portion (113).
- the base portion (112) is a portion that extends along the length direction from the tip of the tip portion (110) to a point, and means a portion that extends in a straight line with roughly the same diameter.
- the expansion portion (113) is a portion that is expanded so that the diameter increases from the end (rear end) of the base portion (112) to the end of the tip portion (110).
- the structure of the first hollow (111) is to respond quickly to the change in volume of the second hollow (121) by the pressing action of the pressing handle (130).
- the lifting thread (10) located in the space between the push handle (130) and the first hollow (111) is simultaneously subjected to external force (fixing force) by body tissue in the front direction and to the pressure force by the push handle (130) in the rear direction, so there is a risk that it may break or unnecessary tension may be induced.
- the lifting thread (10) can take on a relatively loose state in the extra space of the expansion portion (113), thereby providing a characteristic that prevents the problem of the lifting thread (10) being easily broken by the pressing action of the push handle (130).
- the second hollow (121) has a structure in which the diameter is expanded from a state in which the diameter is smaller than the expansion portion (113) at the front end of the rear end (120) to an increased diameter to the end of the rear end (120).
- the cross-section of the second hollow (121) is tapered to make the width wider toward the end. According to this structure, during the procedure of inserting the insertion device into human tissue and then pulling it, the lifting thread remaining at the back of the push handle (130) is prevented from getting caught in any part within the second hollow (121) when it moves toward the push handle (130).
- the tip side of the second hollow (121) has a smaller diameter than the expansion portion (113) of the first hollow (111), so that there is no problem in implementing the normal function of the expansion portion (113) described above.
- the expansion portion (taper) is processed so that the diameter increases from the front end to the rear end of the second hollow (121) while having a relatively larger margin than the inclination angle of the expansion portion (113) at a smaller angle (this inclination angle is measured based on an imaginary line extending lengthwise from the center of the second hollow) so as to provide a characteristic of guaranteeing a stable receiving state for the lifting thread (10) within the second hollow (121).
- an auxiliary conduit (122) made of an elastic material is formed in the second hollow (121) and is connected to the first hollow (111) while having a hollow interior.
- auxiliary conduits (122) have a shape like a tube that extends a certain length in the longitudinal direction along the center of the second hollow (121) while attached to the front end of the rear end (120).
- this auxiliary conduit (122) can serve as a guide to maintain the lifting room (10) accommodated in the second hollow (121) that has been expanded so that it does not bend and extends in a straight line, and can also serve as a buffer to partially relieve the instantaneous pressure generated when the push handle (130) is pressed.
- the auxiliary conduit (122) is manufactured from a material with excellent elasticity and is tapered to ensure the stability of the lifting room (10) within the expanded second hollow space (121), while exhibiting the characteristic of being able to flow within the expanded second hollow space (121) together with the lifting room (10).
- the space of the second hollow (121), which has been expanded through tapering previously and has the largest diameter at the end of the rear end (120), can be efficiently utilized by expanding it to fit the structure of the second hollow (121), and since the lifting thread (10) accommodated in this area remains until almost the last stage of the procedure of inserting the insertion device into the body tissue and then pulling it, it is possible to effectively prevent the phenomenon of the lifting thread (10) being cut off or stopped while ensuring appropriate fluidity.
- Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the end portion of the rear end of the hub of the present invention.
- a plurality of slits (140) can be cut at regular intervals along the circumference of the end portion of the rear end (120).
- These slits (140) serve to provide a fixing space in which the lifting thread (10) is stably fixed without being separated from the hub (rear end) when the insertion device with the lifting thread (10) inserted is first shipped.
- This provides a characteristic that can effectively prevent the end portion of the lifting thread (10) from being unnecessarily separated from the rear end (120) when the insertion device accommodating the lifting thread (10) is shipped.
- the present invention has industrial applicability because it can be mass-produced in the medical device industry and supplied to hospitals and various medical facilities.
