Description
A HOOKAH WITH A SMART CONTROL SYSTEM
Technological Field:
The invention relates to an electric hookah tobacco heater/cooker capable of switching to sleep mode when the smoke is not inhaled from the hookah tube, similar to coal-powered smoking, for use in the tobacco products field.
The State of the Art:
Hookah is a traditional tobacco smoking device generally used in the Middle East, Balkans and Asian regions. When a user inhales through a hookah tube, the smoke from the burning tobacco in the plate passes through the pipe, filters through water in the bottle, and is transferred to the user via a hose. The invention subject to the description includes the improvements performed on the hookah mentioned here.
The hookah is a product consumed over extended periods. It offers a pleasurable effect. It can be smoked for hours during conversations until the tobacco is depleted. The disadvantage of the hookahs in the prior art is their use of coal, which causes the inhalation of more toxic gases than from the tobacco itself. In addition, electric heating/cooking devices developed in place of coal result in undesired burning situation in the tobacco in a short time due to the continuous uncontrolled heating. During the periods of non-inhalation, the tobacco continues to bum. It leads to its early consumption and rapid depletion. Therefore, the products currently developed cannot be mass-produced and commercially marketed.
In the literature search, the utility model document numbered 2022/006858 mentions a hookah. The mentioned hookah is an electric hookah, and unlike
with coal, it does not switch to a sleep mode when not in use. In this case, tobacco depletes early. The depleted tobacco needs to be replaced. The same applies to utility model document numbered 2021/002872 and utility model document numbered 2020/15387.
As a result, there is a need for a new hookah heater/cooker that overcomes the disadvantages of the state of the art.
Brief Description of the Invention:
The invention is a hookah that overcomes the state of the art, eliminates its disadvantages, and comprises additional advantages.
The object of the invention is to present a new hookah that stops burning tobacco by switching to sleep mode when not in use.
Another object of the invention is to present a new hookah with a smart control system that enables prolonged use of the hookah tobacco.
The smart control system ensures the highest performance and the longest smoking period throughout the smoking period by allowing the user to select the type, flavour, brand of tobacco, and controlling the burning and sleep mode through degree screen and buttons.
Another object of the invention is to present a new hookah equipped with technological features and with an extended lifespan.
Description of Drawings:
The invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings so that the characteristics of the invention will be understood more clearly.
However, the object is not to limit the invention with these specific arrangements. On the contrary, it is intended to involve all alternatives, modifications and equivalences that can be included within the scope of the invention as defined by the accompanying claims. Disclosure of the Invention:
In this detailed description, the hookah (10) of the invention is described only for better understanding of the subject matter with the examples that do not form any limiting effect.
The hookahs (10) consist of a bottle (11) containing water, a pipe (12) where the tobacco is placed, a heating plate (14) that bums the tobacco, a smoke discharge (13) releasing smoke above the bottle (11 ), a hookah tube (15) through which the user inhales, and a hose (16) allowing the filtered tobacco smoke in the bottle (11) to reach the hookah tube (15). The heating plate (12) in electric versions comprises a heating element. The characteristic feature of the hookah (10) of the invention is its automatic switch to sleep mode when not in use. The invention includes an inhaling valve (17) and a control unit (18) for this purpose.
The inhaling valve (17) used in the invention is placed on the hookah tube (15) or the hose (16). When the user inhales from the hookah tube (15), the sensor on the inhaling valve (17) detects the inhalation and transmits it to the control unit (18). The control unit (18) is an equipment that controls the temperature of the heating plate (14), receives information from the thermocouple element on the heating plate (12), and maintains the resistance at the desired temperature value. Various parameters can be input into the control unit (18) to regulate the operation of the hookah (10). If the user does not use the hookah (10) for a specific duration input into the control unit (18), the control unit (18) detects this through the sensor-equipped inhaling valve (17). Subsequently, by limiting the operation of the resistance of the heating plate (14), it takes the hookah (10) in sleep mode, reducing it to a minimum level ready for subsequent inhalation but
slowing down burning. When the user inhales from the hookah (10), the control unit (18) automatically activates the resistance in the heating plate (14) and the tobacco inside the pipe (12) is brought to the desired maximum temperature and continued by cooking. This ensures prolonged use of the tobacco.
In the invention, desired parameters related to sleep mode can be input into the control unit (18). For instance, inputs such as 'switch to sleep mode after 5 minutes of no inhalation' or 'turn off the resistance after 10 minutes of no inhalation' can be input and operated. By the studies carried out apart from these, it is necessary to maintain the tobacco at a certain temperature and rest it. The device automatically accomplishes this, similar to the process with coal. The sleep mode mentioned here may be a situation where the resistance is completely turned off or operated at low performance. Switching to sleep mode can be a process where the tobacco is no longer burned or is burned at a very low performance level. In the invention, the control unit (18) continuously maintains the heating plate (14) at the optimum temperature by detecting the thermocouple (temperature sensor) data from the heating plate (14) and the inhaling data from the inhaling valve (17).
In the invention, there is a screen (181 ) showing the temperature of the heating plate (14) on the control unit. Since the number of inhalations from the hookah (10) is measured by the inhaling valve (17), the number of inhalations from the hookah (10) can also be displayed on this screen (181 ). The user can use the buttons (182) on the control unit (18) to operate the hookah (10), change the temperature parameters and the sleep mode parameters. The control unit (18) has an interface enabling these adjustments to be performed.
In the invention, the control unit (18) can be connected to a battery, an accumulator or a mains electricity via a direct mains connection or (19) and can supply the electricity that it needs. The control unit (18) is connected to the thermocouple in the heating plate and the resistance through the plate
connection (20). The heating plate (14) temperature data from the thermocouple element is obtained, and the operation of the resistance is controlled.
In the invention, the heating plate (14) comprises ventilation holes (141 ) and a ventilation notch (142) to burn the tobacco. There is a resistance and thermocouple housing (143) on which the thermocouple and resistance elements are placed. In the invention, all surfaces of the hookah tube (15) and the heating plate (14) comprises stainless chrome plating to provide a long lifetime and improve aesthetic appearance.
