Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail. In the present invention, "X to Y" includes the end values of X and Y.
1. Wrapper (1) Base Paper The wrapper according to this embodiment includes a specific base paper. Base paper is a base material that contains pulp and does not contain a coating layer. The base paper has a basis weight of 40 g/m 2 or more and contains 10% by weight or less of filler. A filler is an inorganic filler added to base paper to impart smoothness, whiteness, opacity, etc. to the paper. Fillers include, but are not limited to, calcium carbonate, talc, and clay. Among these, calcium carbonate is preferred from the viewpoint of easy availability.
When the basis weight of the base paper is within the above range, the strength of the wrapper is improved. However, when the basis weight of the base paper is within this range, if the filler content is too large, the wrapper will become brittle. Therefore, the inventors have found that the toughness of the wrapper can be increased by setting the filler content of the base paper to 10% by weight or less. From this viewpoint, the lower limit of the basis weight of the base paper is preferably 42 g/m 2 or more, more preferably 43 g/m 2 or more, even more preferably 45 g/m 2 or more. Although the upper limit of the basis weight is not limited, it is preferably 60 g/m 2 or less, more preferably 50 g/m 2 or less. The upper limit of the filler content is preferably 7% by weight or less. The lower limit of the filler content is not limited, but is preferably 2% by weight or more.

The coating amount per side is preferably 3 g/m 2 or more, more preferably 4 g/m 2 or more, and even more preferably 5 g/m 2 or more. The upper limit of the coating amount is not limited, but is preferably 10 g/m 2 or less.
The content of pigment in the coating layer is not limited, but the lower limit is preferably 5% by weight or more. The upper limit is preferably 50% by weight or less. The coating layer contains a known binder and the like in addition to the pigment.

2) Ash content Ash content is the amount of ashing residue (% by weight) based on the bone dry weight of the sample, and is an index of the total amount of filler and pigment in the pigment coating layer. A paper tube with a length of 15 mm and a paper tube with a length of 45 mm were prepared, and both were arranged so that their end surfaces were in contact with each other. A test piece was prepared by wrapping the area including the joint part with the wrapper listed in Table 1 and joining the two paper tubes. This test piece was inserted into the heating device shown in FIG. 2, and the test piece was heated at 295° C. for 5 minutes. At this time, the joint portion was heated.
The test piece after heating was cooled to room temperature and subjected to a breaking test. An outline of the test is shown in Figure 3. In the figure, P is a plunger, B is a pedestal, and J is a joint. Table 1 shows the load at break. In this test, the characteristics of the wrapper could be accurately evaluated because it was not affected by the strength of the paper tube. As a result, it was revealed that the wrapper of the example had better strength after heating than the wrapper of the comparative example.
This test piece is a model of the non-combustion heated flavor suction article shown in Figure 1.
