Abstract

The invention proposes a device (110) for applying a cosmetic product, the device (110) extending along a longitudinal main axis X and comprising: - a lower sleeve (18), - a stick (20) of cosmetic product, immovable with respect to the lower sleeve (18), - an upper sleeve (22) opposite the lower sleeve (18), - at least one intermediate sleeve (24) forming the connection between the upper sleeve (22) and the lower sleeve (18), the upper sleeve (22), the at least one intermediate sleeve (24) and the lower sleeve (18) comprising first and/or second means of displacement such that they are displaceable in rotation and axially with respect to one another so as to follow the release of the cosmetic product, the first and/or second means of displacement of the at least one intermediate sleeve (24) extending over the entire height of an outer surface (26) and/or inner surface (28) of the at least one intermediate sleeve (24).

Description

Cosmetic product application device, refill for cosmetic product receptacle and associated receptacle Technical field of the invention

The invention relates to a cosmetic product application device. The invention also relates to a refill intended to be removably mounted on a base of a receptacle of a cosmetic product.

The invention also relates to a receptacle for a cosmetic product comprising such a device or such a refill.

The cosmetic product is preferably of the deodorant, lipstick stick, lip balm stick type.

Technical background

Conventionally, products in stick form, such as lipstick sticks, lip balm sticks or even deodorants are packaged in receptacles in which an actuation mechanism allows exit and/or entry. of the product to be applied.

In general, these receptacles include a cup in which the product to be applied is placed. Following actuation of the mechanism, the cup moves axially relative to an external envelope from a low storage position in which it is inserted into the envelope towards a high application position in which the product is substantially at the level of 'an opening of the envelope.

There are several types of cup actuation mechanisms.

The cup can for example be crossed by a central threaded rod along which it can move up and/or down. The mechanism is operated by a dial located at the bottom of the mechanism.

The cup may also include at least one external lug which moves in a helical groove. Here again, the mechanism is operated by a wheel placed at the bottom of the mechanism.

These receptacles are complex and require many moving parts relative to each other.

Furthermore, if the receptacle is opaque, the user has no way of tracking product consumption and may be surprised to no longer have any product.

In addition, at the end of use, the product is barely held in place by the outer casing and the stick may come off the cup.

Finally, the receptacle remains bulky whether when the product is new or at the end of use.

There is therefore a need for a solution making it possible to resolve at least part of the disadvantages mentioned while maintaining a simple design and use mechanism.

Thus, according to a first concept, the invention relates to a device for applying a cosmetic product, the device extending along a main longitudinal axis and comprising:

- a lower sleeve,

- a stick of cosmetic product stationary relative to the lower sleeve,

- an upper sleeve opposite the lower sleeve,

- at least one intermediate sleeve connecting the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve,

the upper sleeve, the at least one intermediate sleeve and the lower sleeve comprising first and/or second displacement means so that they are movable in rotation and axially relative to each other so as to follow the restitution cosmetic product,

the first and/or second means for moving the at least one intermediate sleeve extending over the entire height of an external and/or internal surface of the at least one intermediate sleeve.

By “sleeve” is meant a cylindrical part having two opposite axial ends which can be opened.

By “stick” we mean a rigid, elongated object. In other words, the cosmetic product is in rigid form and has an elongated shape, that is to say extending along a main longitudinal axis coincident with the main axis X of the device when it is housed therein.

In other words, the upper, intermediate and lower sleeves are movable relative to each other progressively so as to discover the cosmetic product as it is consumed. Thus, the upper, intermediate and lower sleeves slide relative to each other until reaching a position where all of the cosmetic product is accessible.

The user can then easily monitor the consumption of the cosmetic product.

Furthermore, in this device, unlike the conventional mechanism, the cosmetic product remains fixed in relation to the different sleeves. This avoids the risk of deterioration of the stick and ensures its maintenance from the beginning to the end of its consumption.

According to different embodiments of the invention, which can be taken together or separately:

- the lower sleeve on the base is configured to be axially immobile relative to the base when fixed thereon,

- the device has a fully deployed position in which the upper, lower and intermediate sleeves are connected together by at least one of their ends,

- in the fully deployed position the upper and/or lower ends of the lower sleeve, the upper sleeve and/or the intermediate sleeve are linked to one end of the adjacent sleeve,

- the device has a completely retracted position in which the sleeves are recessed/nested into each other,

- the device has at least one intermediate position in which at least two sleeves are at least partly fitted into each other,

- the at least one intermediate position allows you to move from the fully deployed position to the completely retracted position,

- the upper, lower and intermediate sleeves are integral in the at least one intermediate position, in the fully deployed position and in the completely retracted position,

- the first movement means allow movement of the upper sleeve relative to the at least one intermediate sleeve and the second movement means allow movement of the at least one intermediate sleeve relative to the lower sleeve,

- the first means of movement of the upper sleeve are arranged on all or part of an internal surface thereof and cooperate in sliding along a trajectory defined by the first means of movement arranged on the external surface of a sleeve adjacent intermediate,

- the first means of movement of the upper sleeve are arranged on all or part of an external surface thereof and cooperate in sliding along a trajectory defined by the first means of movement arranged on the internal surface of a sleeve adjacent intermediate,

- the first means for moving the intermediate sleeve extend over an internal upright of the intermediate sleeve,

According to a second concept, the invention relates to a refill intended to be mounted removably on a base of a receptacle of a cosmetic product, said refill extending along a main longitudinal axis X and comprising:

- a lower sleeve configured to attach removably to the base of the receptacle,

- a stick of cosmetic product stationary relative to the lower sleeve,

- an upper sleeve opposite the lower sleeve,

- at least one intermediate sleeve connecting the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve,

the upper sleeve, the at least one intermediate sleeve and the lower sleeve comprising first and/or second displacement means so that they are movable in rotation and axially relative to each other so as to follow the restitution cosmetic product,

the first and/or second means for moving the at least one intermediate sleeve extending over the entire height of an external and/or internal surface of the at least one intermediate sleeve.

Detailed description of the invention

By convention, the "axial" direction corresponds in the figures to that of the main axis to be removably mounted in the receptacle 10, and the "radial" direction is orthogonal to the axial direction.

In the detailed description of the figures which follows, the terms “upper” and “lower” or “top” and “bottom” will be used in a non-limiting manner with reference to the axial direction.

Similarly, the terms "outer or outer" and "inner or inner" are used in reference to the radial direction, with an outer element being radially further from the X axis than an inner element.

Figures 1 and 2 illustrate an example of a device 110 for applying a cosmetic product according to a first aspect of the invention.

The device 110 includes:

- a lower sleeve 18,

According to this first aspect of the invention, the upper sleeve 22, the at least one intermediate sleeve 24 and the lower sleeve 18 comprise first and/or second displacement means so that they are movable in rotation and axially in relation to each other so as to follow the restitution of the cosmetic product.

The first and/or second means for moving the at least one intermediate sleeve 24 extend over the entire height H of an external 26 and/or internal 28 surface of the at least one intermediate sleeve 24.

The number of intermediate sleeves 24 makes it possible to adjust the size of the device 110, in particular having a higher device 110 and therefore a stick 20 of longer cosmetic product for a large number of intermediate sleeves 24 and a shorter device 110 with a stick 20 of shorter cosmetic product.

Advantageously, the stick 20 of cosmetic product housed in the device 110 does not move relative to the lower sleeve 18, unlike conventional cosmetic product mechanisms of this type in which the cosmetic product moves relative to the bottom of the device, in particular via a cup which can go up or down.

The device 110 further comprises a removable cover 116. The cover 116 is capable of occupying at least one open position in which the cover 116 is separated from the device 110 with a view in particular to allowing the application of the cosmetic product and a closed position in which the cover 116 is integral with the device 110.

Advantageously, at least the upper sleeve 22, the lower sleeve 18 and the at least one intermediate sleeve 24 are made of monomaterial. In other words, the device 110 is preferably made of monomaterial.

Advantageously, the cover 116 can also be made from the same material.

By monomaterial we mean a design of one or more elements from a single material.

The use of a single material, or at least similar materials, to make the different parts of the device 110 is particularly interesting for their recycling after use of the cosmetic product. Indeed, the presence of different materials presents disadvantages during recycling where the parts must be separated. The use of a single material makes it possible to throw all the parts of the device 110 together without having to dismantle it, which facilitates recycling.

The monomaterial can be chosen from polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), recycled polyethylene terephthalate (R-PET), a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), polyethylene (PE), such as low density polyethylene (LDPE). ) and/or high density polyethylene (HDPE), a composite material, a post-consumer recycled material (PCR) and/or a similar material.

Preferably, the monomaterial is chosen from polypropylene, polyterephthalate, post-consumer recycled polypropylene, post-consumer recycled polyterephthalate, or a mixture thereof.

Polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate are two plastic materials whose recycling cycle is well known.

Advantageously, the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are movable axially and in rotation relative to each other so that the device 110 has a completely deployed position, a completely retracted position and at least one intermediate position allowing move from the fully extended position to the fully retracted position.

In the fully extended position shown in , the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are interconnected by at least one of their ends.

This fully deployed position corresponds to the position in which the device 110 is when it is new, for example, and the cosmetic product has not yet been used. In this position, the device 110 has the greatest possible height h1.

In other words, an upper end 30 of the lower sleeve 18 is linked to a lower end 32 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 and the lower end 34 of the upper sleeve 22 is linked to an upper end 36 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24. In other words, in the case of a single intermediate sleeve 24 as illustrated, the upper end 36 of the intermediate sleeve 24 is linked to the lower end 34 of the upper sleeve 22 and the lower end 32 of the intermediate sleeve 24 is linked at the upper end 30 of the lower sleeve 18.

In the case of a device 110 comprising several intermediate sleeves 24, on the same principle, in the fully deployed position, an upper end of an intermediate sleeve 24 is linked with a lower end of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 located above and a lower end of this intermediate sleeve 24 is linked with an upper end of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 located below.

In the completely retracted position illustrated in , the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are recessed/nested into each other. In other words, the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are arranged concentrically with the axis X.

This completely retracted position corresponds to the position in which the device 110 is found when all the cosmetic product is used, for example. In this position, the device 110 has the smallest possible height h2.

To move from the completely deployed position to the completely retracted position, the device 110 has intermediate positions in which at least two sleeves 18, 22, 24 are at least partly fitted into each other. In other words, at least two sleeves 18, 22, 24 are partially retracted.

Advantageously, the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are integral in the at least one intermediate position, in the fully deployed position and in the completely retracted position, that is to say whatever the position.

Advantageously, a hermetic zone 38 is formed between each sleeve. In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 5, the hermetic zones 38 are a hermetic ring formed between the upper sleeve 22 and the intermediate sleeve 24 and/or between the intermediate sleeve 24 and the lower sleeve 18.

Thus in this embodiment, in the fully deployed position illustrated in , the intermediate sleeve 24 is located axially between the upper sleeve 22 and the lower sleeve 18.

In the completely retracted position illustrated in , the intermediate sleeve 24 is located radially between the upper sleeve 22 and the lower sleeve 18.

In this embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 5, the device 110 comprises an envelope configured to cover the at least one intermediate sleeve 24 and an envelope configured to cover the lower sleeve 18.

Advantageously, the envelope covers at least the first means of moving the at least one intermediate sleeve and/or the lower sleeve.

The envelope can be an additional external part, for example linked to the intermediate sleeve 24 or to the lower sleeve 18.

In this embodiment illustrated in to 5, the intermediate sleeve 24 is U-shaped and comprises an internal upright 24a and an external upright 24b corresponding to the envelope. In such an embodiment, the upper sleeve 22 can, for example, slide between the two uprights 24a, 24b, as is visible in the .

The upper sleeve 22, visible at the , has a wall of tubular shape which extends along the axis X from an open upper end 40 towards an open lower end 34. In other words, this is a cylindrical element of circular cross section.

Alternatively, not shown, the cross section may have another shape, for example polygonal.

The open upper end 40 of the upper sleeve 22 comprises a flange 42 which projects radially outwards relative to the upper sleeve 22. The flange 42 forms a lower shoulder face 44 of annular shape serving, for example, as a stop when the device 110 is in the completely retracted position.

The collar 42 is also used as a gripping means during manipulation for the rotation of the sleeves 18, 22, 24.

The collar 42 thus has a larger diameter, notably wider than that of the intermediate or lower sleeves 24, 18 so as to always maintain a gripping surface for lowering the upper sleeve 22 and/or the intermediate sleeve 24. In other words, even when the device 110 is in the completely retracted position, the collar 42 remains accessible relative to the diameter of the other sleeves.

Advantageously, in the completely retracted position, the lower shoulder face 44 finds itself in contact with an upper edge 49 of the intermediate sleeve 24.

The upper sleeve 22 further comprises three ribs 48 arranged on an external surface 51 of the tubular wall and projecting radially towards the outside of the upper sleeve 22.

In another exemplary embodiment, the ribs 48 are arranged on an internal surface 50 of the tubular wall and project radially towards the inside of the upper sleeve 22 as illustrated in the .

The ribs 48 are the first means for moving the upper sleeve 22 and allow movement of the upper sleeve 22 relative to the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24.

The ribs 48 are angularly regularly distributed and are thus spaced at an angle of 120°.

Advantageously, the ribs 48 of the upper sleeve 22 extend angularly along the external surface 51 thereof.

Furthermore, the ribs 48 of the upper sleeve 22 have an angle of inclination. In other words, the ribs 48 are not parallel to a plane parallel to a transverse plane of the device 110.

Like the upper sleeve 22, the intermediate sleeve 24, visible at the , has a wall of tubular shape which extends along the axis X from the upper end 36 open towards the lower end 32 open. In other words, this is a cylindrical element of circular cross section.

In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 5, the intermediate sleeve 24 is U-shaped.

An internal surface 28b of the external upright 24b comprises the first means of movement, and an external surface 26b of the external upright 24b comprises the second means of movement of the intermediate sleeve 24 relative to the lower sleeve 18 or in relation to an adjacent intermediate sleeve.

This makes it possible to improve the external appearance of the device by making the first means of movement of the intermediate sleeve 24 not visible.

Advantageously, the first displacement means are a thread 52 extending over the entire height of the intermediate sleeve 24.

The thread has a helical groove 54 defining a trajectory with which the ribs of the upper sleeve 22 cooperate so that the upper sleeve 22 slides relative to the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24.

In another exemplary embodiment, such as that illustrated in , the ribs 56 are arranged on the internal surface 28 of the tubular wall and project radially towards the inside of the intermediate sleeve 24.

As illustrated in , the helical groove 54 can also include over its entire length regularly spaced protuberances 58 allowing control of the restitution of the cosmetic product. The protuberances cooperate with the ribs 48 of the adjacent upper sleeve 22 and create a point of resistance, felt, in particular by the user when he rotates the upper sleeve 22 so as to reveal the cosmetic product.

The thread 64 has a helical groove 66 defining a trajectory with which the ribs 56 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 cooperate so that the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 slides relative to the lower sleeve 18.

Advantageously, the helical groove 66 has an angle of inclination substantially similar to the angle of inclination of the ribs 56 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24.

In another exemplary embodiment, such as that illustrated in Figures 15 and 16, the thread 64 extends over the entire height H of an external surface of the external wall 60.

As illustrated in , the helical groove 66 can also include over its entire length regularly spaced protuberances 68 allowing control of the restitution of the cosmetic product. The protuberances 68 cooperate with the ribs 56 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 and create a point of resistance, felt, in particular by the user when he rotates the intermediate sleeve 24 so as to reveal the cosmetic product.

An internal surface of the interior upright 65 of the lower sleeve 18 comprises longitudinal grooves 76 which extend parallel to each other on an upper portion of the interior upright 65 from the upper end of the outer wall. These grooves 76 make it possible to block the cosmetic product housed in the device 110 from rotating.

The upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are assembled so as to form a cosmetic product application device 110. The upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves in particular form an internal volume in which the cosmetic product is housed, here in the form of a stick 20.

For this, the ribs 48, 56 of the upper sleeve 22 and the intermediate sleeve 24 cooperate respectively with the threads 52, 64 of the intermediate sleeve 24 and the lower sleeve 18.

Once assembled, advantageously, the device 110 can be loaded with cosmetic product through the open lower end 62 of the lower sleeve 18 so as to form the stick 20 of cosmetic product. For this, preferably, the open upper end 40 of the upper sleeve 22 is closed by a protective cover 106 removably mounted on the upper sleeve 22.

The protective cover 106 allows protection of the surface of the cosmetic product stick 10, in particular during its storage before use in a receptacle. The protective cover 106 thus makes it possible to limit deformation and/or deterioration of the stick and ensure its protection, particularly hygienic, before use.

Preferably, the protective cover 106 is disposable. In other words, the protective cover 106 is removed and then thrown away after the first use of the cosmetic product, that is to say when the device 110 is mounted on the base 14 of the receptacle 10.

The protective cover 106 can however be kept for later use, for example if the cosmetic product requires new protection.

Advantageously, the protective cover 106 is made of disposable material. This could be, for example, paper or even a recyclable material.

The device 110 can also be loaded with cosmetic product through the open upper end 40 of the upper sleeve 22. For this the open lower end 62 of the lower sleeve 18 is closed. Advantageously, the open lower end of the lower sleeve 18 is closed by a removable mounted plug 108.

The operation of the device 110 will now be explained.

After removing the cover 16, the user can apply the cosmetic product.

For this, if it is not accessible, the upper, intermediate and lower sleeves 22, 24, 18 are rotated relative to each other, causing an axial movement of the sleeves relative to each other so to accompany and monitor the return of the cosmetic product.

Advantageously, initially the upper sleeve 22 is actuated relative to the intermediate sleeve 24, until the upper sleeve 22 comes to envelop the intermediate sleeve 24. In this intermediate position, the upper sleeve 22 is located around the intermediate sleeve 24.

Finally, advantageously, the intermediate sleeve 24 is actuated relative to the lower sleeve 18, also driving the upper sleeve 22, until the upper sleeve 22 and the intermediate sleeve 24 come to envelop the lower sleeve 18. The device 110 is then in the completely retracted position in which the upper sleeve 22 and the intermediate sleeve 24 are located around the lower sleeve 18. This position is visible at the . In this position, the cosmetic product is completely consumed.

In the case not shown of several intermediate sleeves 24, each intermediate sleeve 24 is lowered as the cosmetic product is consumed. The highest intermediate sleeve 24, i.e. adjacent to the upper sleeve 22, is then actuated first and the lowest intermediate sleeve 24, i.e. adjacent to the lower sleeve 18, is actuated Lastly.

Advantageously, to facilitate the actuation of the sleeves relative to each other, each sleeve has a different unlocking torque. The unlocking of the upper sleeve 22 and the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 is carried out by a first couple C1, then the unlocking of the intermediate sleeve 24 and the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 is carried out by a second couple C2.

Preferably, the first couple C1 is less than the second couple C2 so that a sequential axial movement of the sleeves is ensured during the rotational movement of the upper, lower and/or intermediate sleeves 22, 18, 24.

In the case not shown of several intermediate sleeves 24, the unlocking of the intermediate sleeves 24 relative to each other is also carried out advantageously with different torques Cn.

In the examples shown in Figures 6 to 20, the lower sleeve 18 is configured to attach removably to a base 14 of a receptacle 10, the base 14 allowing actuation of the device 110.

In the examples of Figures 6 to 20, the device 110 requires the base 14 to be actuated, unlike the previous device 110 of Figures 1 to 5 which is said to be autonomous, that is to say which is operable without base 14 and does not does not require this base 14 to be used.

Advantageously, the lower sleeve 18 comprises an internal skirt 70 extending axially from an internal shoulder 72 projecting from the internal surface of the external wall 60 of the sleeve towards the lower end 62 of the lower sleeve 18.

The internal skirt 70 and the external wall 60 thus form an annular housing 74 in which the base 14 is housed.

The internal skirt 70 is thus configured to attach removably to the base 14 of the receptacle 10.

Advantageously, the internal skirt 70 comprises a bead 80 extending annularly on the external surface of the internal skirt 70. The bead 80 cooperates with the base 14 so as to block any axial movement between the lower sleeve 18 and the base 14 , in other words between the device 110 and the base 14.

In the exemplary embodiments illustrated in Figures 6 to 20, the base 14, visible at the for the first example, comprises a longitudinal wall 82 extending from a transverse lower bottom 84 towards an open upper end 86 delimited by an upper edge 88.

The lower bottom 84 comprises a circular opening 90 delimited by an external periphery from which extends an internal skirt 92 projecting towards the upper end 86 of the base 14.

The internal skirt 92 of the base 14 comprises an internal surface provided with longitudinal grooves 98 designed to cooperate with the longitudinal grooves 78 of the lower sleeve 18. These grooves 98 of the base 14 are designed to cooperate with the anti-rotation grooves 78 of the sleeve lower 18 and allow the lower sleeve 18 and the base 14 to rotate, in other words the device 110 and the base 14.

Advantageously, the internal skirt 92 of the base 14 comprises locking means so as to axially block the lower sleeve 18 on the base 14, in other words the device 110 on the base 14 of the receptacle 10.

In the exemplary embodiment illustrated in Figures 6 to 17, the locking means are at least one tongue 100 having transverse elasticity formed by slots 102 located on an upper edge of the internal skirt 92 of the base 14.

Advantageously, each of the tongues 100 comprises a bead 104 projecting radially outwards from the base 14. Each bead of the tongues 100 cooperates with the bead 80 of the internal skirt 70 of the lower sleeve 18 so as to axially block the sleeve lower 18 on the base 14, in other words the device 110 on the base 14 of the receptacle 10.

The example of making the base illustrated in includes three regularly distributed tabs 100.

In other exemplary embodiments not shown, the upper edge of the internal skirt 92 may comprise two, or even four, or even five, or even six tabs 100. Advantageously, to balance the holding of the lower sleeve 18 on the base 14, in other words of the device 110 on the base 14, the tongues 100 are regularly distributed around the periphery of the upper edge of the internal skirt 92 of the base 14.

The radial elasticity of the tabs 100 makes it easier to insert the device 110 into the base 14.

The installation of the device 110 on the base 14 will now be explained.

First of all, the user fixes the device 110 on the base 14 of the receptacle 10. The receptacle 10 can advantageously be closed by the removable cover 16.

In this step, the internal skirt 92 of the base 14 is housed in the annular housing 74 formed by the internal skirt 70 and the external wall 60 of the lower sleeve 18.

The bead 80 of the external surface of the internal skirt 70 of the lower sleeve 18 cooperates with the beads 104 of the tongues 100 of the internal skirt 92 of the base 14 so as to block any axial movement between the lower sleeve 18 and the base 14, in other words between the device 110 and the base 14.

Advantageously, the anti-rotation grooves 78, 98 and/or the locking means 80, 104 of the lower sleeve 18 and/or the base 14 can be configured to have a unique cooperation between the lower sleeve 18 and the base 14 , in other words between the device 110 and the base 14 of the receptacle 10, so as to authorize the mounting of the device 110 on the base 14.

By “authorizing the mounting of the device 110 on the base 14” is meant a complete assembly and not a partial association which could be sufficient to operate the device 110 under non-nominal conditions, that is to say, in particular, without fixing the device 110 on the base 14. This makes it possible to avoid assembling the device 110 on a bad base 14 accompanied by deterioration of one and/or the other and to ensure uniqueness and functional control of the product.

The receptacle can thus include coding between the base and the device so that the base and/or the device are configured so as to be specific to each other.

When the lower sleeve 18 is configured to attach removably with a base 14 of a receptacle 10, the application device can be called refill, examples of embodiment of which are illustrated in Figures 5 to 20.

Figures 5 to 20 illustrate three examples of a refill 12 according to a second aspect of the invention intended to be removably mounted in a receptacle 10.

In these exemplary embodiments, the receptacle 10 comprises a refill 12 extending along a main longitudinal axis X , a base 14 allowing the removable fixing of said refill 12 and a removable cover 16.

Generally, the cover 16 is associated with the base 14 together defining an external contour of the receptacle 10.

In a non-limiting manner, in the examples illustrated, the cover 16, the base 14 of the receptacle 10 and the refill 12 have a cylindrical shape of circular section.

Preferably, the cover 16 is removable. The cover 16 is capable of occupying at least one open position in which the cover 16 is separated from the base 14 with a view in particular to allowing the application of the cosmetic product and a closed position in which the cover 16 is integral with base 14.

Refill 12 includes:

- a lower sleeve 18 configured to be fixed removably on the base 14 of the receptacle 10,

- a stick 20 of cosmetic product immobile relative to the lower sleeve 18,

- an upper sleeve 22 opposite the lower sleeve 18,

- at least one intermediate sleeve 24 making the connection between the upper sleeve 22 and the lower sleeve 18.

According to this second aspect of the invention, the upper sleeve 22, the at least one intermediate sleeve 24 and the lower sleeve 18 comprise first and/or second displacement means so that they are movable in rotation and axially in relation to each other so as to follow the restitution of the cosmetic product.

The first and/or second means for moving the at least one intermediate sleeve 24 extend over the entire height H of an external 26 and/or internal 28 surface of the at least one intermediate sleeve 24.

By “sleeve” is meant a cylindrical part having two opposite axial ends which can be opened.

By “stick” we mean a rigid, elongated object. In other words, the cosmetic product is in rigid form and has an elongated shape, that is to say extending along a main longitudinal axis coincident with the main axis X of the refill 12 when it is housed therein.

In this embodiment, the refill 12 comprises a single intermediate sleeve 24.

In other embodiments, the refill 12 may comprise two, or even three, or even four intermediate sleeves 24. The number of intermediate sleeves 24 makes it possible to adjust the size of the refill 12, in particular having a higher refill 12 and therefore a longer stick 20 of cosmetic product for a large number of intermediate sleeves 24 and a shorter refill 12 with a shorter stick 20 of cosmetic product.

Advantageously, once the refill 12 is inserted on the base 14, the lower sleeve 18 is axially immobile relative to the base. This axial immobility is temporary for the duration of using the refill 12 with the base 14.

By “immobile” we mean that which does not move, which remains without moving. In other words, the cosmetic product stick 20 housed in the refill does not move relative to the lower sleeve 18, unlike conventional cosmetic product mechanisms of this type in which the cosmetic product moves relative to the bottom of the receptacle/box. recharging, in particular via a cup which can go up or down.

Advantageously, at least the upper sleeve 22, the lower sleeve 18 and the at least one intermediate sleeve 24 are made of monomaterial. In other words, the refill 12 is preferably made of monomaterial.

Advantageously, the receptacle 10 can also be made of a single material, in other words the refill 12, the base 14 and the cover 16 are made of the same material.

By monomaterial we mean a design of one or more elements from a single material.

The use of a single material, or at least similar materials, to make the different parts of the refill 12 and/or the receptacle 10 is particularly interesting for their recycling after use of the cosmetic product. Indeed, the presence of different materials presents disadvantages during recycling where the parts must be separated. The use of a single material makes it possible to throw all the parts of the refill 12 together without having to dismantle it, which facilitates recycling.

The monomaterial can be chosen from polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), recycled polyethylene terephthalate (R-PET), a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), polyethylene (PE), such as low density polyethylene (LDPE). ) and/or high density polyethylene (HDPE), a composite material, a post-consumer recycled material (PCR) and/or a similar material.

Preferably, the monomaterial is chosen from polypropylene, polyterephthalate, post-consumer recycled polypropylene, post-consumer recycled polyterephthalate, or a mixture thereof.

Polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate are two plastic materials whose recycling cycle is well known.

Advantageously, the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are movable axially and in rotation relative to each other so that the refill 12 has a completely deployed position, a completely retracted position and at least one intermediate position making it possible to move from the fully extended position to the fully retracted position.

In the fully deployed position illustrated in Figures 6 to 8, 17 and 18, the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are interconnected by at least one of their ends.

This fully deployed position corresponds to the position in which the refill 12 is when it is new, for example, and the cosmetic product has not yet been used. In this position, the refill 12 has the greatest possible height h1.

In other words, an upper end 30 of the lower sleeve 18 is linked to a lower end 32 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 and the lower end 34 of the upper sleeve 22 is linked to an upper end 36 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24. In other words, in the case of a single intermediate sleeve 24 as illustrated, the upper end 36 of the intermediate sleeve 24 is linked to the lower end 34 of the upper sleeve 22 and the lower end 32 of the intermediate sleeve 24 is linked at the upper end 30 of the lower sleeve 18.

In the case of a refill 12 comprising several intermediate sleeves 24, on the same principle, in the fully deployed position, an upper end of an intermediate sleeve 24 is linked with a lower end of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 located above and a lower end of this intermediate sleeve 24 is linked with an upper end of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 located below.

In the completely retracted position illustrated in Figures 11, 12 and 20, the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are recessed/nested into each other. In other words, the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are arranged concentrically with the axis X.

This completely retracted position corresponds to the position in which the refill 12 is found when all the cosmetic product is used, for example. In this position, the refill 12 has the smallest possible height h2.

To move from the fully deployed position to the completely retracted position, the refill 12 has intermediate positions in which at least two sleeves 18, 22, 24 are at least partly fitted into each other. In other words, at least two sleeves 18, 22, 24 are partially retracted.

Advantageously, the upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are integral in the at least one intermediate position, in the fully deployed position and in the completely retracted position, that is to say whatever the position.

Like the upper sleeve 22, the intermediate sleeve 24, an example of which is visible at , has a wall of tubular shape which extends along the axis X from the upper end 36 open towards the lower end 32 open. In other words, this is a cylindrical element of circular cross section.

Alternatively, not shown, the cross section may have another shape, for example polygonal.

In the first embodiment, the external surface 26 of the tubular wall is provided with a thread 52 extending over the entire height of the intermediate sleeve 24. The thread 52 is the first means of movement of the intermediate sleeve 24 allowing movement of the upper sleeve 22 relative to the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24.

The thread has a helical groove 54 defining a trajectory with which the ribs of the upper sleeve 22 cooperate so that the upper sleeve 22 slides relative to the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24.

Advantageously, the helical groove 54 has an angle of inclination substantially similar to the angle of inclination of the ribs 48 of the adjacent upper sleeve 22.

In the first embodiment, the intermediate sleeve 24 further comprises three ribs 56 arranged on the internal surface 28 of the tubular wall and projecting radially towards the inside of the intermediate sleeve 24.

In the second embodiment, the ribs 56 are arranged on the internal surface 28a of the internal upright 24a of the intermediate sleeve 24 and project radially towards the inside of the intermediate sleeve 24.

In the third embodiment, the ribs 56 are arranged on an external surface 26b of the external upright 24b of the tubular wall of the intermediate sleeve 24 and project radially towards the outside of the intermediate sleeve 24. This intermediate sleeve 24 is substantially similar to that of the .

The ribs are the second means of movement of the intermediate sleeve 24 allowing movement of the intermediate sleeve 24 relative to the lower sleeve 18.

The ribs 56 are angularly regularly distributed and are thus spaced at an angle of 120°.

The helical groove 54 comprises, over its entire length, regularly spaced protuberances 58 allowing control of the restitution of the cosmetic product. The protuberances cooperate with the ribs 48 of the adjacent upper sleeve 22 and create a point of resistance, felt, in particular by the user when he rotates the upper sleeve 22 so as to reveal the cosmetic product.

In the third embodiment illustrated in Figures 19 and 20, the first means for moving the intermediate sleeve 24, such as a thread 52, are located on the internal surface 28 of the tubular wall of the intermediate sleeve 24. This makes it possible to improve the external appearance of the refill by making the first means of movement of the intermediate sleeve 24 not visible

In particular, in the case where the intermediate sleeve 24 is U-shaped as illustrated in , an internal surface 28b of the external upright 24b comprises the first means of movement and the external surface 26b of the external upright 24b comprises the second means of movement of the intermediate sleeve 24 relative to the lower sleeve 18 or in relation to an adjacent intermediate sleeve. This intermediate sleeve 24 is substantially similar to that of the .

In these exemplary embodiments, the lower sleeve 18, an example of which is visible in Figures 15 and 16, has an external wall 60 of tubular shape which extends along the axis X from the upper end 30 open towards a lower end 62 open. In other words, this is a cylindrical element with a circular cross section.

Alternatively, not shown, the cross section may have another shape, for example polygonal.

In the first and second embodiments, the external wall 60 has an external surface provided with a thread 64 extending over the entire height H. The thread 64 is the second means for moving the lower sleeve 18 allowing movement of the sleeve intermediate 24 adjacent to the lower sleeve 18.

In the third embodiment, the thread 64 extends over the entire height H of an external surface of the external wall 60.

In the third embodiment, the lower sleeve 18 further comprises an internal upright 65. The intermediate sleeve 24 slides between the internal upright 65 and the external wall 60 of the lower sleeve 18.

The thread 64 has a helical groove 66 defining a trajectory with which the ribs 56 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 cooperate so that the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 slides relative to the lower sleeve 18.

Advantageously, the helical groove 66 has an angle of inclination substantially similar to the angle of inclination of the ribs 56 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24.

The helical groove 66 comprises, over its entire length, regularly spaced protuberances 68 allowing control of the restitution of the cosmetic product. The protuberances 68 cooperate with the ribs 56 of the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 and create a point of resistance, felt, in particular by the user when he rotates the intermediate sleeve 24 so as to reveal the cosmetic product.

In the examples shown, the lower sleeve 18 further comprises an internal skirt 70 extending axially from an internal shoulder 72 projecting from the internal surface of the external wall 60 of the sleeve towards the lower end 62 of the lower sleeve 18.

In the first and second embodiments, the internal shoulder 72 is located equidistant from the lower end 62 and the upper end 30 of the external wall 60.

The internal skirt 70 and the external wall 60 thus form an annular housing 74 in which the base 14 is housed.

The internal skirt 70 is thus configured to attach removably to the base 14 of the receptacle 10.

An upper portion of the internal surface of the external wall 60 comprises longitudinal grooves 76 which extend parallel to each other, here over the entire height extending from the upper end of the external wall towards the internal shoulder 72 These grooves 76 make it possible to block the cosmetic product housed in the refill 12 from rotating.

A lower portion of the internal surface of the external wall 60 forms an internal surface of the housing 74. This internal surface includes anti-rotation grooves 78 which extend longitudinally, parallel to each other, here over the entire height extending from the lower end of the external wall towards the internal shoulder 72. These grooves 78 make it possible to rotate the lower sleeve 18 and the base 14.

Advantageously, the internal skirt 70 comprises a bead 80 extending annularly on the external surface of the internal skirt 70. The bead 80 cooperates with the base 14 so as to block any axial movement between the lower sleeve 18 and the base 14 , in other words between refill 12 and base 14.

In the illustrated embodiments, the base 14, visible at the for the first example, comprises a longitudinal wall 82 extending from a transverse lower bottom 84 towards an open upper end 86 delimited by an upper edge 88.

The lower bottom 84 comprises a circular opening 90 delimited by an external periphery from which extends an internal skirt 92 projecting towards the upper end 86 of the base 14.

Advantageously, as illustrated in , the upper edge 88 of the longitudinal wall 82 comprises at least one extra thickness 94 extending angularly. The extra thicknesses 94 are designed to cooperate with a lower edge of the cover 16, more particularly with an annular groove 96 extending over the entire periphery of the lower edge of the cover 16, and allow the latter to be held axially.

In this exemplary embodiment, the upper edge 88 comprises three extra thicknesses 94 regularly spaced at an angle of 120°.

In other embodiments not shown, the upper edge 88 may comprise two, or even four, or even five, or even six extra thicknesses 94. Advantageously, to balance the closing of the receptacle 10 by the cover 16, the extra thicknesses 94 are regularly distributed around the perimeter of the upper edge 88.

The cover 16 can also be maintained by cooperation of the cover 16 with the lower sleeve 18, in particular with an extra thickness of the external surface of the external wall 60 of the lower sleeve 18 as in the third example of the .

The internal skirt 92 of the base 14 comprises an internal surface provided with longitudinal grooves 98 designed to cooperate with the longitudinal grooves 78 of the lower sleeve 18. These grooves 98 of the base 14 are designed to cooperate with the anti-rotation grooves 78 of the sleeve lower 18 and allow the lower sleeve 18 and the base 14 to rotate, in other words the refill 12 and the base 14.

Advantageously, the internal skirt 92 of the base 14 comprises locking means so as to axially block the lower sleeve 18 on the base 14, in other words the refill 12 on the base 14 of the receptacle 10.

In this exemplary embodiment, the blocking means are at least one tongue 100 having transverse elasticity formed by slots 102 located on an upper edge of the internal skirt 92 of the base 14.

Advantageously, each of the tongues 100 comprises a bead 104 projecting radially outwards from the base 14. Each bead of the tongues 100 cooperates with the bead 80 of the internal skirt 70 of the lower sleeve 18 so as to axially block the sleeve lower 18 on the base 14, in other words the refill 12 on the base 14 of the receptacle 10.

The example of making the base illustrated in includes three regularly distributed tabs 100.

In other embodiments not shown, the upper edge of the internal skirt 92 may comprise two, or even four, or even five, or even six tabs 100. Advantageously, to balance the holding of the lower sleeve 18 on the base 14, in other words of the refill 12 on the base 14, the tabs 100 are regularly distributed around the periphery of the upper edge of the internal skirt 92 of the base 14.

The radial elasticity of the tabs 100 makes it easier to insert the refill 12 into the base 14.

The upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves are assembled so as to form a refill 12. The upper 22, lower 18 and intermediate 24 sleeves in particular form an internal volume in which the cosmetic product is housed, here in the form of a stick 20.

For this, the ribs 48, 56 of the upper sleeve 22 and the intermediate sleeve 24 cooperate respectively with the threads 52, 64 of the intermediate sleeve 24 and the lower sleeve 18.

Once assembled, advantageously, the refill 12 can be loaded with cosmetic product through the open lower end 62 of the lower sleeve 18 so as to form the stick 20 of cosmetic product. For this, preferably, the open upper end 40 of the upper sleeve 22 is closed by a protective cover 106 removably mounted on the upper sleeve 22.

The protective cover 106 allows protection of the surface of the cosmetic product stick 10, in particular during its storage before use in a receptacle. The protective cover 106 thus makes it possible to limit deformation and/or deterioration of the stick and ensure its protection, particularly hygienic, before use.

Preferably, the protective cover 106 is disposable. In other words, the protective cover 106 is removed and then thrown away after the first use of the cosmetic product, that is to say when the refill 12 is mounted on the base 14 of the receptacle 10.

The protective cover 106 can however be kept for later use, for example if the cosmetic product requires new protection.

Advantageously, the protective cover 106 is made of disposable material. This could be, for example, paper or even a recyclable material.

The refill 12 can also be loaded with cosmetic product through the open upper end 40 of the upper sleeve 22. For this the open lower end 62 of the lower sleeve 18 is closed. Advantageously, the open lower end of the lower sleeve 18 is closed by a removable mounted plug 108.

The operation of the receptacle 10 will now be explained.

First of all, the user fixes the refill 12 on the base 14 of the receptacle 10. The receptacle 10 can advantageously be closed by the removable cover 16.

In this step, the internal skirt 92 of the base 14 is housed in the annular housing 74 formed by the internal skirt 70 and the external wall 60 of the lower sleeve 18.

The bead 80 of the external surface of the internal skirt 70 of the lower sleeve 18 cooperates with the beads 104 of the tongues 100 of the internal skirt 92 of the base 14 so as to block any axial movement between the lower sleeve 18 and the base 14, in other words between refill 12 and base 14.

Advantageously, the anti-rotation grooves 78, 98 and/or the locking means 80, 104 of the lower sleeve 18 and/or the base 14 can be configured to have a unique cooperation between the lower sleeve 18 and the base 14 , in other words between the refill 12 and the base 14 of the receptacle 10, so as to authorize the mounting of the refill 12 on the base 14.

By “authorizing the mounting of the refill 12 on the base 14” is meant a complete assembly and not a partial association which could be sufficient to activate the refill 12 under non-nominal conditions, that is to say, in particular, without fixing the refill 12 on the base 14. This makes it possible to avoid assembling the refill 12 on a bad base 14 accompanied by deterioration of one and/or the other and to ensure uniqueness and a functional control of the product.

The receptacle can thus include coding between the base and the refill so that the base and/or the refill are configured so as to be specific to each other.

Then, after removing the cover 16, the user can apply the cosmetic product.

For this, if this is not accessible, the upper, intermediate and lower sleeves 22, 24, 18 are rotated relative to each other, causing an axial movement of the sleeves relative to each other so as to accompany and monitor the return of the cosmetic product.

Advantageously, initially the upper sleeve 22 is actuated relative to the intermediate sleeve 24, until the upper sleeve 22 comes to envelop the intermediate sleeve 24. In this intermediate position, the upper sleeve 22 is located around the intermediate sleeve 24. This position is visible in Figures 9 and 10.

Finally, advantageously, the intermediate sleeve 24 is actuated relative to the lower sleeve 18, also driving the upper sleeve 22, until the upper sleeve 22 and the intermediate sleeve 24 come to envelop the lower sleeve 18. The refill 12 is then in the completely retracted position in which the upper sleeve 22 and the intermediate sleeve 24 are located around the lower sleeve 18. This position is visible in Figures 11 and 12. In this position, the cosmetic product is completely consumed.

In the case not shown of several intermediate sleeves 24, each intermediate sleeve 24 is lowered as the cosmetic product is consumed. The highest intermediate sleeve 24, i.e. adjacent to the upper sleeve 22, is then actuated first and the lowest intermediate sleeve 24, i.e. adjacent to the lower sleeve 18, is actuated Lastly.

Advantageously, to facilitate the actuation of the sleeves relative to each other, each sleeve has a different unlocking torque. The unlocking of the upper sleeve 22 and the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 is carried out by a first couple C1, then the unlocking of the intermediate sleeve 24 and the adjacent intermediate sleeve 24 is carried out by a second couple C2.

Preferably, the first couple C1 is less than the second couple C2 so that a sequential axial movement of the sleeves is ensured during the rotational movement of the upper, lower and/or intermediate sleeves 22, 18, 24.

In the case not shown of several intermediate sleeves 24, the unlocking of the intermediate sleeves 24 relative to each other is also carried out advantageously with different torques Cn.

It should be noted that the upper sleeves 22 and the intermediate sleeves 24 are substantially similar in the application device 110 and in the refill 12. Thus what is described for one also applies to the other.

Concerning the lower sleeves 18, the upper part is substantially similar in the application device 110 and in the refill 12.

However, the lower part is different. Indeed, in the refill 12 or in a device 110 configured to operate with a base 14, the lower part is configured to attach removably to the base 14 so as to form a receptacle 10. In a so-called autonomous device 110 (c 'i.e. which can be used/operated without a base), the lower part does not require such adaptation.

Claims (17)

Device (110) for applying a cosmetic product, the device (110) extending along a main longitudinal axis X and comprising:
- a lower sleeve (18),
- a stick (20) of cosmetic product stationary relative to the lower sleeve (18),
- an upper sleeve (22) opposite the lower sleeve (18),
- at least one intermediate sleeve (24) connecting the upper sleeve (22) and the lower sleeve (18),
the upper sleeve (22), the at least one intermediate sleeve (24) and the lower sleeve (18) comprising first and/or second displacement means so that they are movable in rotation and axially one by one in relation to others so as to follow the return of the cosmetic product,
the first and/or second means for moving the at least one intermediate sleeve (24) extending over the entire height of an external (26) and/or internal (28) surface of the at least one intermediate sleeve (24) . Device (110) according to the preceding claim, in which the first movement means allow movement of the upper sleeve (22) relative to the at least one intermediate sleeve (24) and the second movement means allow movement of the at least one sleeve intermediate (24) relative to the lower sleeve (18). Device (110) according to the preceding claim, in which the first means for moving the upper sleeve (22) are arranged on all or part of an internal surface (50) or an external surface (51) thereof and cooperate in sliding along a trajectory defined by the first displacement means arranged respectively on the external surface (26, 26a) or the internal surface (28, 28a) of an adjacent intermediate sleeve (24). Device (110) according to any one of claims 2 or 3, in which the second means for moving the lower sleeve (18) are arranged on the external surface or on the internal surface thereof and define a trajectory so that the second means for moving the at least one adjacent intermediate sleeve (24) arranged respectively on all or part of the internal surface (28, 28a) or the external surface (26, 26a) thereof cooperate in sliding along this path. Device (110) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the upper sleeve (22) and the adjacent intermediate sleeve (24) comprise first blocking means so as to be integral in rotation, unlocking being carried out by a first couple C1. Device (110) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the lower sleeve (18) and the adjacent intermediate sleeve (24) comprise second blocking means so as to be integral in rotation, unlocking being carried out by a second couple C2. Device (110) according to the preceding claim, in which the first couple C1 is less than the second couple C2 so that a sequential axial movement of the sleeves is ensured during the rotational movement of at least one of the upper sleeves (22), lower (18) and/or intermediate (24). Device (110) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the upper sleeve (22), the lower sleeve (18) and the at least one intermediate sleeve (24) are made of monomaterial. Device (110) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the first displacement means comprise protuberances (58, 68) allowing control of the restitution of the cosmetic product. Device (110) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the upper (22), lower (18) and intermediate (24) sleeves form a longitudinal wall delimiting a volume V into which the cosmetic product is poured by a lower end (62) of the lower sleeve (18), the open lower end (62) of the lower sleeve (18) being closed by a plug (108) once the cosmetic product has been poured. Device (110) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which upper (30) and lower (62) ends of the at least one intermediate sleeve (24) have sealing zones (38) cooperating with the upper sleeve ( 22) and/or the lower sleeve (18). Device (110) according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising an envelope configured to cover at least the at least one intermediate sleeve (24) and/or the lower sleeve. A device (110) according to any preceding claim, wherein the lower sleeve (18) is configured to removably attach to a base (14) of a receptacle (10), the base permitting actuation of the device . Device (110) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the lower sleeve (18) comprises a lower internal skirt (70) extending axially, the internal skirt (70) allowing the removable attachment of the device (110) with the base (14) of the receptacle (10). Receptacle (10) for a cosmetic product comprising a device (110) according to any one of the preceding claims and a base (14) allowing removable fixing and actuation of the device (110). Receptacle (10) according to the preceding claim, comprising coding between the base (14) and the device (110) so that the base (14) and/or the device (110) are configured so as to be specific to one the other. Receptacle (10) according to any one of claims 14 or 15, comprising an envelope configured to cover at least the at least one intermediate sleeve (24).
