The adapter is then secured to the windshield wiper arm and more particularly to a free end of the windshield wiper arm, such cooperation being removable such that it allows the wiper blade to be changed when the one -this is worn out.
- Such a type of removable connection is made in particular by means of snap-fastening means which are elastically deformable.
- Such means present flexibility allowing engagement and disengagement of the connector with the adapter.
- These means are particularly practical for the user to allow wiper blade replacements, but they can penalize the transmission of forces between the wiper arm and the wiper blade and generate collisions in the movement of the wiper blade. wiper blade following the back and forth movement of the windshield wiper arm which carries it, and in particular changes in direction of the arm.
- connection modules it is therefore desired by players in the automotive market to set up connection modules to serve as adapters for different types of windshield wiper arms.

- connection portion 83 which makes it possible to make the support portion 81 integral with the longitudinal wall 50, can have a chamfer making it possible to avoid contact between this connection portion and a side of the connector and thus making it possible not to obstruct the pivoting of the base on the connector, as can be seen in Figure 7 in particular.
- the support portion 81 is offset transversely relative to the longitudinal wall by a dimension slightly greater than the thickness, that is to say here the transverse dimension, of the panel 34, which allows on the one hand to ensure that the panel 34 is arranged facing the external face of the longitudinal wall 50 and an internal face of the support portion 81 of the force recovery means 76 and which also allows that a minimal clearance is formed between the panel and each of these faces facing the panel in order to allow effective recovery of forces.
- the framing of the panel 34 of the connector 10 by the force recovery means 76 and the longitudinal wall 50 is in fact intended to facilitate the transmission of forces between the windshield wiper arm and the wiper blade during of the back and forth movement of the arm, in order to avoid jerks in the movement of the broom as much as possible.
- a transverse force transmitted to the connection module by fixing the rotating platform, via where appropriate an adapter removably fixed on this platform, on the windshield wiper arm can thus be effectively transmitted to the connector 10 via the base 14 and the tight assembly formed according to the invention between the side of the connector on the one hand and the force absorption means 76 and the longitudinal wall 50 of the base on the other hand.

- each section 34 of the connector 10 is framed transversely by one of the force recovery means 76 and one of the longitudinal walls 50. This allows effective force recovery, that the transverse force either in one direction or another.
- connection portion 83 of each of the force absorption means is here formed substantially in the transverse extension of one of the transverse walls and the support portion 81 extends longitudinally towards the other transverse wall so as to come cover the corresponding panel 34 of the connector 10.
- the arrangement of the connection portion 83 of each of the means of recovery of forces 76 at the level of the transverse ends of the transverse wall 52 is advantageous in that the transverse walls 52 participate in stiffening the frame of the base 14, so that the means of absorption of forces 76 have less tendency to deform in contact with the pan under transverse force.
- the force recovery means 76 may have an imprint 79, the pattern of which is complementary to the shape of the lower edge of the covering member 22, so that the force recovery means do not hinder the movement of the cover member 22 and that on the contrary they make it possible to form an aerodynamic assembly without the presence of the cover member implying the presence of projecting edges penalizing the circulation of aerodynamic flows. More particularly, this imprint 79 is made in the external face of the support portion 83, opposite the side 34 of the connector which the force recovery means are made to cover. It is understood that when the cover member 22 is in position on the connection module, this cover member has side walls which laterally cover the connection module and therefore the base, such a side wall extends mainly in a plane partially merged with that of the force recovery means 76. The creation of the imprint 79 allows this side wall to fit into the thickness of the force recovery means and in particular in the support portion of these means of recovering forces and therefore not hindering the pivoting of the covering member.
- the base 14 may comprise additional force absorbing means 77 arranged at a longitudinal end 48 of a longitudinal wall 50 opposite the longitudinal end 46 where the means are arranged force recovery means 76 associated with this longitudinal wall, the force recovery means 77 comprising at least one fin extending substantially in the same plane as the support portion 83 of the force recovery means 76.
- the means for absorbing additional forces 77, and more particularly the fin then extend in a plane parallel to and distinct from the plane in which the longitudinal wall 50 extends, c that is to say by being offset transversely relative to the longitudinal wall 50.
- the base 14 comprises a pair of additional force absorbing means 77 extending transversely on either side of the base 14, each of the force absorbing means 77 being offset transversely relative to the longitudinal wall 50 corresponding so as to delimit a housing of a side wall 30, or even of a section 34, of the connector 10.
- first means for absorbing additional forces 77 extend to a first transverse end of the base, and more particularly here to a first transverse end of the transverse wall 52 disposed opposite the means for absorbing additional forces.
- forces 76, second means for taking up additional forces 77 extending to a second transverse end of this transverse wall 52.
- the first means for taking up additional forces 77 frame a first wall with a first longitudinal wall 50 lateral 30, or even a first section 34, of the connector 10
- the second means for absorbing additional forces 77 frame transversely with a second longitudinal wall 50 a second side wall 30, or even a second section 34, of the connector 10.
- each side wall 30, or even each side 34, of the connector 10 is framed transversely by one of the means for absorbing additional forces 77 and one of the longitudinal walls 50.
- the pivoting member 38 is arranged longitudinally between the force absorbing means 76 and the additional force absorbing means 77. in this way, when the base 14 pivots around the pivot axis P, at least one or the other of the force recovery means 76 or the additional force recovery means 77 is facing the panel 34 and/ or the side wall 30, and it is thus possible to ensure framing of a portion of the connector with the force recovery means and/or the additional force absorption means and the associated longitudinal wall 50, so as to ensure, whatever the position taken by the base 14 relative to the connector 10, the resumption of transversal efforts as mentioned previously.
- the invention achieves the goals it set for itself, namely to provide optimal transmission and distribution of transverse forces between a windshield wiper arm and a windshield wiper blade. 'wiping via an appropriate connection device, in particular by the implementation of at least force recovery means formed on the connection module mounted tilting on the connector, these additional force recovery means having an offset portion transversely to be able to frame a section of the connector with a longitudinal wall from which it projects.
- the present invention cannot, however, be limited to the means and configurations described and illustrated here and it also extends to any equivalent means and configuration as well as to any technically effective combination of such means.
