Definitions
- the present invention relates to a so-called pants-type disposable wearing article.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a method for manufacturing a worn article.
- a stretched rubber thread is sandwiched between two webs (nonwoven fabrics), and the web and the rubber thread (elastic member) are intermittently fastened in the shrinking direction to form a stretchable sheet.
- This elastic sheet is used as at least one of the front body and the back body (waist part) of the wearing article, and both ends of the front body and the back body are side-sealed (welded) to form waist openings and leg openings.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a disposable wearing article capable of preventing a large snapback of an elastic member in a side seal, thereby preventing deterioration of appearance and deterioration of fit.
- the present invention is a pants-type disposable wearing article having front and rear waist portions 31 and 32 whose ends are joined to each other by a pair of side seals 50,
- the front and rear waist portions 31 and 32 are a plurality of elongated elastic members F extending in the waist circumference direction X and arranged parallel to each other; A pair of sheets 1 and 2 that hold the elastic member F by a plurality of fastening portions 4 that sandwich the elastic member F and intermittently fasten the elastic member F in the waist direction X,
- the side seals 50 have a plurality of dot-shaped welded portions 5 arranged in a scattered pattern and welded to join the front and rear waist portions 31 and 32 to each other,
- the plurality of welded portions 5 includes at least one upper welded portion 5a and at least one lower welded portion 5a spaced apart in a vertical direction Y perpendicular to the waistline direction X with respect to at least one elastic member F among the elastic members F.

- the spacing ⁇ 5 in the vertical direction Y between the upper welded portion 5a and the lower welded portion 5b is smaller than the second width F2 of the elastic member F in the contracted state, and in this contracted state the upper and lower The elastic member F is vertically sandwiched between the pair of welded portions on the side. Therefore, snapback in which the elastic member F moves in the waistline direction X can be prevented. Therefore, there is no risk that the appearance of the wearing article N will be deteriorated or that the fit will be deteriorated.
- the side seals in which the dot-like welded parts 5 are arranged in a scattered manner have a small welded area, so that the both ends of the waist part of the pants-type wearing article N are hardly hardened, and the feeling of wearing is improved.
- the interval ⁇ 5 is larger than the first width F1 of the elastic member F in the stretched state, so that the sheets can be welded together.
- the sheet is preferably a thermoplastic nonwoven fabric (web) in which thermoplastic fibers are laminated.
- the elongated elastic member may be linear or cord-like.
- the elastic member may be a multi-strand in which a plurality of rubber threads (fibrous elastic bodies) are assembled in a bundle. Examples of the material of the thread rubber include polyurethane.
