Description
≪実施形態に係る燃料タンク≫
図1に示す燃料タンクTは、自動車やバイク並びに船舶等の移動手段に搭載されるものであり、タンク本体Taと、内蔵部品6とで主に構成されている。図1に示すように、本実施形態では内蔵部品6として燃料タンクTの強度を保つための柱状の補強部材を例示するが、内蔵部品6はバルブや波消し板などであってもよい。以下の説明における「上下」、「左右」は図1の矢印に従う。当該方向は、説明の便宜上定めるものであり、本発明を限定するものではない。なお、図1の左右方向は、燃料タンクTを製造する一対の成形型の開閉方向に対応している。
回り止め形状とは、内蔵部品6がタンク本体Taに賦形された後、内蔵部品6がタンク本体Taに対して回転しない形状であることを意味する。本実施形態では、頭部6dの外径rd1及び頭部6dの外径rd2に径差が生じるように構成することで、内蔵部品6の回転を抑制している。回り止め形状は、例えば、オーバル形状であってもよい。オーバル形状とは、例えば、長丸形状、円形を扁平に変形させた形状や、四隅が丸まった長方形等が含まれる。
図5に示す燃料タンク製造装置1は、円筒状のパリソンSをブロー成形して内蔵部品6を有する燃料タンクT(図1参照)を製造する装置である。なお、燃料タンクTは、シート状のパリソン(図示せず)を成形して製造することもできる。
図6および図7を参照しつつ(適宜、図1ないし図4参照)、成形時において内蔵部品6の端部周りにおけるパリソンSの転写状況について説明する。なお、ここでは第1成形型3について説明するが、第2成形型4についても同様である。図6および図7に示す内蔵部品6は、図2のA-A位置で切断した状態を示している。
燃料タンク製造工程において、図6に示すように、第1成形型3を矢印方向に移動させて型締めすることにより、パリソンSと共に内蔵部品6の首部6cおよび頭部6dが凹部3d内に押し込まれる。
<パリソンの射出工程>
図8(a)に示すように、ダイ2は、開いた状態の第1成形型3および第2成形型4の間に円筒状のパリソンSを射出する。
次に、図8(b)に示すように、昇降機5は内蔵部品6を保持した状態で上昇し、内蔵部品6を取付け位置まで移動させる。ここで取付け位置は、パリソンSの内側であって、分離部3c,4cの間である。
次に、図8(c)に示すように、第1成形型3および第2成形型4の分離部3c,4cは、互いに対向する方向に移動し、内蔵部品6を両端側から挟み込むように保持する。そして、昇降機5は内蔵部品6を離した状態で降下し、初期位置まで退避する。昇降機5の初期位置は、第1成形型3および第2成形型4の本体部3b,4bを閉じた場合に干渉しない位置であればよい。
次に、図9(a)に示すように、第1成形型3および第2成形型4の本体部3b,4bは、互いに対向する方向に移動し、第1成形型3および第2成形型4が型締めされる。
次に、図9(b)に示すように、図示しない第1正圧付与手段は、第1成形型3および第2成形型4内のパリソンSの内側から正圧P1(第1の正圧)を付与する。これにより、パリソンSは、第1成形型3および第2成形型4の成形部3a,4aに押し付けられて転写される。また、図示しない第2正圧付与手段は、第1成形型3および第2成形型4の凹部3d,4d(図7参照)内のパリソンSの外側から正圧P2(第2の正圧)を付与する。これにより、パリソンSは、内蔵部品6の首部6cに沿って賦形される(図7参照)。なお、正圧P1、正圧P2を付与する方法や順番は特に限定されるものではない。正圧P2は正圧P1よりも高く設定されているのが好ましい。
次に、図9(c)に示すように、図示しない冷却手段を用いて第1成形型3および第2成形型4内で冷却空気Cを循環させる。これにより、パリソンSは冷やされて硬化する。
次に、図9(d)に示すように、第1成形型3および第2成形型4を開いて成形品Uを取り出す。そして、両端に形成される不要なバリを切断することで燃料タンクT(図1参照)が完成する。
次に本発明の第二実施形態に係る内蔵部品60について説明する。図10に示すように、内蔵部品60は、円柱状の胴部60aと、胴部60aの左右両端に形成される肩部60b,60bと、肩部60b,60bの左右外側に形成される首部60c,60cと、頭部60d,60dとを備えて構成されている。内蔵部品60の構造は、左右(紙面上下)が鏡面対称になっている。

Claims (3)
- 頭部、首部、肩部を有する内蔵部品を有し、タンク本体成形時にパリソンを前記頭部、前記首部、前記肩部に賦形することで前記内蔵部品をタンク本体に固定させた燃料タンクであって、
前記頭部が、回り止め形状を呈することを特徴とする燃料タンク。 - 前記回り止め形状は、楕円形状又はオーバル形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記回り止め形状は、そら豆形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料タンク。
