Abstract

The invention relates to a method and to a plant for manufacturing material boards, said plant comprising: a storage facility (2) for waste wood as a feedstock (1); optionally a comminuting device (3) for the feedstock (1) to create an input material (4) for the plant; a classifying device (5) for dividing the feedstock (1) and/or the input material (4) into differentiated fractions; a purification device (10) for separating foreign material (13) from at least one of the fractions; a processing unit (20, 21) for producing and transferring scatterable particles in a scattering device (22, 23); a forming conveyor (24) for receiving the scattered particles; and a pressing machine (25) for pressing the scattered particles to produce a material board (27), wherein a sorting device (12) for dividing the purified fraction into solid wood (18) and wood materials (16) is connected downstream of the at least one purification device (10) in the plant, and the sorting device (12) is operatively connected directly or indirectly to the processing unit (20, 21) in order to transfer the purified fraction (1630).
