Le procédé de fabrication de bananes plantains pesées (banan peze) surgelées est une invention qui a pour but de congeler des bananes plantains pesées précuites. Ceci dans le but de gagner du temps et de l'énergie et s'occupant simplement de le dégeler dans le four ou dans la friture. Riche en amidon, la banane plantain est une bonne alternative à la pomme de terre. Verte et neutre en goût, la banane plantain est rassasiante et contient des antioxydants. Originaires des Antilles, Haïti, Cuba et se consommant aussi en Amérique latine, les bananes plantains pesées représentent un élément culinaire national. Cette présente invention ambitionne de faire connaître cet aliment au grand public en le mettant à disposition sous une forme surgelée. Par bananes plantains pesées surgelées, on entend le produit obtenu à partir de bananes plantains propres, vertes, saines, conformes aux caractéristiques de la famille Musaceae. Ces plantains doivent avoir été triés, lavés, épluchés, coupés en morceaux dans le sens de la diagonale, blanchis et frits dans de la graisse ou de l'huile pour obtenir une coloration dorée. Après quoi, les morceaux de banane plantains sont légèrement écrasés afin d'obtenir une galette moelleuse à l'intérieur et croustillante à l'extérieur.
