Abstract

Device (1) for optical imaging of at least one arthropod, the at least one arthropod being accommodated in an accommodation cell of a multi-cellular accommodation module (9), the accommodation cell being provided with a first opening on an observable side of the multi-cellular accommodation module (9), the device (1) comprising: - a camera configured to image the whole, or a portion, of the observable side of the multicellular accommodation module (9), said portion comprising the first opening of the accommodation cell, an image of the at least one arthropod being formed through the first opening; - a position of the camera with respect to the observable side of the multicellular accommodation module (9) being adjustable so that a distance between an objective of the camera and a central point of the portion of the multicellular accommodation module (9) may be set to any value between a minimum value and a maximum value.
