Definitions
- our equipment aims to frontally attack the origin or source of the pandemic, as in the case of Covid-19, the virus that is its transmitting element and, as is known, is a tiny being found in billions of units in a cm 3 which prevents being captured through segregation for extermination.
- the host or transmitter is, for example: a mosquito like Aedes aegypti
- protection and extinguishing solutions such as: electrical equipment, aerosol insecticides, protection nets and even electric “rackets”.
- the media regularly report and display images of the misuse given to current fabric masks; as examples: tissue saturation by the saliva of speech, covering only the mouth, lowered in the throat or chin, incorrectly removed, poorly sanitized, not changed within the appropriate period, even being placed, without any care, in pockets, bags, tables and even seats.
- the present patent application for the Privilege of Invention refers to a respiratory protection mask with a combined device for molecular filtration of the inspired air through a suction and electrical ventilation mechanism, whose function is to prevent the user from inhaling aerobic contagious or suffer eye infection. Protection of the user's personal health and retainer of contagion by dissemination.

- the ambient air will be sucked in by a fan into the coupling box and the pressure exerted by the suction will cause the air to be impelled through the filter element inside the box and then it will be directed through the dispersion channels to the face of the exempt user of any viral, bacteriological or any contaminant particles.
- the ventilator will be powered by an electric lithium battery which in its documentation indicates the operating performance of at least 24 hours and a maximum of 48 uninterrupted hours, requiring that it be recharged for a total period of 8 hours.
- the connectors for connections between the wires will be the kl model.
- the terminals in contact with the battery will be: on one side the metal contact terminal with a positive (+) pole and on the other a negative pole (-) with a spring similar to the existing lantern system.
- the second filter at the bottom of the visor, inserted into the cavity next to the mouth, is to filter the air exhaled through the nose or mouth.
- This equipment is also and mainly applied to the prevention and obstruction of the contagion of Covid-19, as well as that of other viruses and aerobic bacteria, to disperse in the air, such as: measles, influenza, hlnl and all other forms of dispersion and contagion through the air.
- the second filter positioned close to the mouth, at the air outlet, prevents that, even if the user is infected, he does not transmit anything to other people. Emphasizing: it is understood that having a filter at the top of the equipment, protects its user from being contaminated and the other filter at the bottom, prevents the user, eventually contaminated, from passing the contamination on.
- Both filters will have standard formats for quick fitting both at the top and at the bottom, being recommended to change them every 4 hours of continuous use and being possible to disinfect them with alcohol or chlorine solution (bleach). They can be disposed of in regular trash.
- the manual will recommend that, if it is not disinfected, it will be collected and placed in a container such as a bag or even a plastic bag for a more conscious disposal.
- All parts will be made of plastic materials including, for example, ABS, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, HDPE, LDPE, etc. according to availability and feasibility in the market in order to prevent production, once started, from being interrupted.
- the electrical parts of the equipment that is: fan, battery, wire harness, connectors and plug, will all be delivered to the purchaser of the equipment, supported by the instruction manual for assembly, use, and cleaning, as well as an alert describing the responsibility that the user will have when discarding the filters and the battery.
- the filtered air will be dispersed through the internal channels that will carry pure, clean and cooled air, free from any aerobic contaminants, in order to ensure the best efficiency in protecting the user in the facial paths with the greatest risk of contagion, or namely: eyes, mouth and nose.
- the channels will have 4 pins in the external area for later fitting of the sealing element of the visor periphery.
- the lens or visor (Face Shields) will be mounted in one size fits all with 100% front, peripheral, top and bottom vision not impeding or distorting at any angle in the user's vision, no blind spot and full viewing radius. It will also allow the use of normal glasses.
- This lens will be shaped with a radius of equivalence to all human faces, as the formatting of the model will be established by adjusting the snapping handles and holding the mask.
- In the lens in its front part, in the lower area near the mouth, there will be a minimum opening for fixing the second filter and the consequent dispersion of the air expelled in excess and throwing the expired carbon dioxide out or being filtered again, in the case of the user is already infected.
- the seal will be made using material such as silicone or similar material, such as rubber, and fitted to the sides (left and right) of the channel by fitting into holes previously made in the making. Another type of material available that does not cause allergy in contact with the skin will also be considered, to prevent people being allergic to latex.
- the fixing of the sealing material will be in a simple way through fitting in the lateral channels of the visor, by fitting pins. Totally sealing the air inlet, except in the upper part, whose inlet will be for distribution and dissipation through the channels. 48.
- the upper part will be protected from the rain by a protective cap, the straps will be made of flexible plastic material and/or silicone or rubber with the possibility of adjustment and fixation on the skull according to the user's comfort.
- the aforementioned equipment represents a solution with regard to personal protective equipment against airborne contaminants.
- Air filtered twice at the inlet of the container and being filtered once or twice at the bottom represent a solution that does not exist in the international market.
- the protective cap in addition to being aesthetically pleasing, prevents the Epica-20 from being removed on rainy days.
- the list of existing solutions in the face protection segment includes, in part not in whole: dust masks, anti-contamination masks, gas masks and some similar ones in different forms, 3M® type or other brands that are specific to activities professionals, but with costs that are inaccessible to the poorest population.
- the aforementioned equipment was created, more precisely, an individual protection equipment, whose function is to prevent the entry of contagious via the airways and eyes in the protection of health.
