Description
DEVICE FOR IDENTIFYING, SAVING AND STORING DATA
The present invention refers to a device for identi fying, saving and storing data .
Electronic identi fication is used, for example , to access online services .
The term " recognition" means the incontrovertible certainty of the association with " a natural person, a legal person or even a natural person who represents the legal person" , belonging to the European Union or in any case identi fied with suf ficient reasonableness through one of the electronic identi fication schemes recogni zed by the European Commission included in the public list of noti fied schemes pursuant to and by ef fect of Art . 9 of the Regulation .
In the field of electronic authentication, in addition to access channels through electronic identi fication cards ( such as TS-CNS or the electronic identity card) , the Public Digital Identity System ( SPID) proj ect was launched and implemented in Italy, which was born with European
ambitions for the purposes of mutual recognition o f Community authentication systems .
With the establishment of the Public Digital Identity System ( SPID) , Italy aims to create an electronic identi fication system that has adequate characteristics so that its use is possible even outside the Italian territory and, through which, public administrations - first of all - and private companies can allow citi zens/businesses to access their services through a single digital identity .
Obj ect of the present invention is to solving the prior art problems by providing a device for identi fying, saving and storing data relatively simple because its function is only that of identi fying the profile on the WEB portal , WEB App and App .
In this way, the technological component , which is composed of the portal and the storage space , is delocali zed with respect to the device : this considerably reduces its cost and makes it a useful and functional device in order to of fer a social service .
Unlike wearable electronic devices on the market today, the device in question has no electronic parts , this is because the main use of
the device is not to record biometric data or data relating to the movement/physical activity of the wearer ; moreover the device does not exchanges data with other devices with which it must connect .
The main use of the device in question is to allow in di f ferent conditions , more or less emergency, to access fundamental and sometimes vital information for the person wearing it .
The particular architecture , extremely simple , allows in any condition to be able to access basic information designed to recogni ze the individual ; think of the case of a road accident or the recovery of unconscious missing persons , the device allows not only to identi fy the person, animal or obj ect but to immediately know the basic information for first aid .
Another advantage related to the identi fication TAG is the absence of power supply devices , which makes it highly performing compared to its basic function . The particular architecture studied allows access to data from any device capable of reading the TAG, in this way it is possible to read the information anywhere and it is not necessary to power the device , this allows to overcome the current limit of portable electronic
devices linked to battery life.
Today, the accessibility to the data that can be recorded on any device depends on the operation of the support, if it is downloaded, turned off, or fails, the data is lost or cannot be consulted.
Flash drives also have limits in terms of capacity (GB) , accessibility as they cannot be read by devices that do not have a USB connection port.
The TAG device, on the other hand, gives access by scanning to a series of basic identification data and by means of two-factor identification it allows access to an expandable cloud storage space.
Another advantage lies in the ease of use even for elderly people, with disabilities or with cognitive delays.
Information on the TAG can be implemented by general practitioners, relatives, social workers or health workers; thanks to the power of attorney function, different people at different levels can be authorized to manage the TAG information, in this way a non self-sufficient person can still take advantage of the potential of the device and in emergency cases they only have to show the TAG.
The above and other objects and advantages of
the invention, as will emerge from the following description, are achieved with a device for identi fying, saving and storing data such as that described in claim 1 . Preferred embodiments and non-trivial variants of the present invention form the subj ect of the dependent claims .
It is understood that all attached claims form an integral part of the present description .
It will be immediately obvious that innumerable variations and modi fications ( for example relating to shape , dimensions , arrangements and parts with equivalent functionality) can be made to what is described without departing from the scope of the invention as appears from the attached claims .
The present invention will be better described by some preferred embodiments , provided by way of non-limiting example , with reference to the attached drawings , in which :
FIG . 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the device for identi fying, saving and storing data according to the present invention;
FIG . 2 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the device for identi fying, saving
and storing data joined at the ends by a ring according to the present invention;
- FIG. 3 shows by way of example a possible type of encryption of the access data to the personal portal of the device for identifying, saving and storing data according to the present invention .
The present invention belongs to the technical sector of wearable devices, i.e. wearable devices for monitoring or transferring information.
Wearable devices belong to that family of electronic devices that come into contact with the body .
The present invention refers to a wearable identification device 10 for identifying, saving and storing data referring to the user (not shown) of the identification device 10, whether they are natural persons, legal persons, animals or objects.
The invention which is the subject of this patent is made up of an identification device 10 which allows, through connection to a web portal, web app, or app for smartphones and tablets, to access a personal area in which it is possible to store information and data, related to the user.
Electronic identification is a process in
which personal authentication data is used in electronic form to uniquely identi fy : a natural person and a legal person .
Electronic authentication is the process that allows ensuring the recognition of the electronic user .
With reference to the Figures , it is possible to note that the identi fication device 10 comprises at least an elastic band 1 made of silicone , polyester or other material which presents a suf ficiently adequate comfort , designed to connect at its ends by at least one connection element 2 , on the identi fications 10 , at least one contact telephone 4 of at least one user and/or at least one individual web address 5 of at least one user and/or at least one QRCODE 6 is printed, embroidered or labeled , portal or web app for smartphones or tablets , which contains the profile (photos and information) of the person, animal and its manager .
The obj ect of the present invention has a threefold nature : recognition system via QR-CODE system or similar that allows the identity of the person to be identi fied via the web portal ;
- personal document storage system through a reserved area; system of reminders of appointments, therapies, deadlines, calendar (via smartphone/ tablet ) .
The subject matter of the present invention refers to a recognition TAG useful for recording personal and health data in order to make this information available quickly and completely wherever it is requested.
The application was designed to favor elderly and non-elderly people in several respects.
Thanks to the identification device 10, it is possible to carry and share, if necessary, all information contained in the personal area of the person, animal or object associated with the TAG.
In particular, the identification device 10 is composed, as mentioned, by a TAG, whether it is composed of a QR-CODE or similar, of an NFC, RFID or other TAG technology.
Advantageously, this identification device 10 has the sole task of associating a user profile created on a web portal, web app, and app for smartphones or tablets to its encryption.
Furthermore, the user profile can be
associated with a natural person, a legal person an animal or an object depending on the information that the portal has to register.
Advantageously, the information recorded has a different degree of confidentiality according to the owner's needs.
Some of the information is publicly available; when the TAG is scanned or read, this information is immediately available.
Here are some examples (these examples are given for illustrative and non-exhaustive purposes) :
- natural person: name, surname, date of birth, blood type, residential address, telephone number, e-mail, certified e-mail, emergency contact ; animal: name, breed, species, blood group, owner's name, address, owner's telephone number; legal person: Company name, tax code, VAT number, PEC, website; object: type of object, CE marking, certifications, manufacturer/ distributor .
Some of the information is confidential, in this case we have a personal private area and an additional information area that can be consulted
for example by the doctor, under the owner's authorization .
The consultation authorization takes place through a request on the personal profile and is authorized through double identification on the device of the owner of the information. Once the consultation has been authorized, further data can be displayed, such as: natural person: medical record, history of interventions, any life-saving therapies and medicines, contact with the general practitioner or specialists, vaccines carried out;
- animal: medical record, history of visits and interventions, medical certificates, vaccines carried out;
- legal person: financial statements, Chamber of Commerce registration, Director, shareholders; subject: revisions, checks, manuals, tests, warranty and expiration.
Furthermore, the personal space is equipped with a storage volume of documents (photos, pdfs, videos, etc.) whose access is always reserved exclusively for the owner of the documents and information .
The use of a profile containing data and
photos through the website offers the possibility for managers to modify the data when necessary, they can be changed for example telephone, address, etc., as well as update age, photos etc.
The profile created on the web portal can also carry important information that is not written on the surface of the bracelet, such as: blood type, drug allergy, medical history and behavior, among others .
Advantageously, the materials used to make the bracelet can be natural such as f abric/leather or synthetic such as silicone and/or polyester: they are remarkably comfortable, like the materials most used for badge tapes, smartwatch bracelets for men and animal collars.
In particular, the identification device 10 facilitates identification with QRCODE allowing access to the data of the person or animal identified.
Advantageously, the identification device 10 has been developed to be an identification and location solution, at the lowest cost and the greatest possible advantage, to be accessible to the greatest number of people and those responsible for other people or animals.
The identi fication device 10 is presented as a solution for being able to intervene in critical and emergency situations for people and animals ; communicates via the website profile important data about the people who use it , such as blood type , drug allergy, health history and behavior, among others .
Furthermore , the identi fication device 10 is able to satis fy the real demand for lack of identi fication in animals using a pectoral collar and in street animals .
The identi fication of the animal directly on the leash reaches all animals , because it al so allows the identi fication and location of those who use the pectoral collar, has three forms of contact that almost every citi zen can access .
Figure 3 shows , by way of example , a possible type of encryption of the access data to the personal portal .
From reading the encryption, it is possible through a special app to read the data recorded on the TAG of the bracelet .
