Through providing the touch detection unit at the charging interface (170), the operation and regulation flexibility of the electronic cigarette can be improved. The present disclosure relates to the technical field of electronic products, in particular, to an electronic cigarette and a control method for the electronic cigarette.
Background Art
The mainstream electronic cigarettes existing in the market are non-rechargeable and disposable. Based on this, some rechargeable electronic cigarettes also appear in the market. However, most of the output methods of these rechargeable electronic cigarettes are provided in the way of constant output voltage of a pneumatic induction switch (microphone) inside the host. In this way, the output power is fixed, single and non-adjustable, therefore, for different atomization consumables (such as nicotine e-liquid, vitamin atomization liquid) , it is necessary to try to adjust the combination of heating wires of different specifications and pneumatic induction switches (microphones) with different output voltages, to obtain the best working condition and the best taste. However, the above regulation process is very tedious, especially the regulation of the atomized consumable with a relatively high liquid consistency.
Summary
An object of the embodiments of the present disclosure is to provide an electronic cigarette and a control method for the electronic cigarette to charge by a charging interface and simultaneously detect the touch mode of a user through the charging interface, and thus generate a corresponding operation control signal according to the user’s touch mode, and then help regulate the electronic cigarette. On the other hand, the charging interface makes it unnecessary to dispose additional buttons on the electronic cigarette, thereby improving the completeness of the appearance design of the electronic cigarette.
Therefore, the first aspect of the present disclosure provides an electronic cigarette which comprises:
a charging interface, a power storage unit, and a central control unit, a charging management unit and a touch detection unit electrically connected to the power storage unit, wherein the power storage unit is used to provide electrical energy to the central control unit, the charging management unit and the touch detection unit;
the power storage unit is also electrically connected with the charging interface for storing external electrical energy to the power storage unit;
the touch detection unit is electrically connected with the charging interface for detecting user’s triggering action at the charging interface and generating a touch signal; and
the touch detection unit is also electrically connected with the central control unit, and also used to input the touch signal into the central control unit, so that the central control unit generates an operation control signal according to the touch signal.
In the first aspect of the present disclosure, by electrically connecting the touch detection unit with the charging interface, user’s touch mode at the charging interface can be detected and identified when the electronic cigarette is charged, so that the central control unit electrically connected with the touch detection unit can generate the operation control signal for controlling the electronic cigarette based on the user’s touch mode, so as to facilitate the regulation of the electronic cigarette. Compared with the prior art, the electronic cigarette in the present disclosure has a better convenience in operation and regulation. At the same time, the electronic cigarette of the present disclosure does not need to be provided with an additional button because of the charging interface, thereby improving the completeness of the appearance design of the electronic cigarette.
In the first aspect of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the electronic cigarette further comprises an air switch and an atomizing device, wherein the air switch is electrically connected with the atomizing device and the central control unit, and is used for receiving the operation control signal input by the central control unit and regulating, according to the operation control signal, the working power to the atomizing device, or activating or closing the atomizing device.
In the present optional embodiment, the atomizing device comprises a cotton-free ceramic heater, and the air switch is electrically connected with the cotton-free ceramic heater and is used for regulating, according to the operation control signal, the working power to the cotton-free ceramic heater, or activating or closing the cotton-free ceramic heater.
In the present optional embodiment, the operation control signal can be used to regulate the working power of the cotton-free ceramic heater, or control the activating or closing of the cotton-free ceramic heater, and thus, the user can conveniently and quickly regulate the working power of the cotton-free ceramic heater according to the factors such as the characteristics of different atomizing consumables, at the same time, the user’s operation can be identified to further activate or close the cotton-free ceramic heater.
In the first aspect of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the atomizing device further comprises a cigarette oil chamber and a cigarette pipe provided with atomizing consumables, and the bottom of the cigarette pipe abuts against the top of the cotton-free ceramic heater; and
both the cigarette pipe and the cotton-free ceramic heater extend into the cigarette oil chamber, and through the heating of the cotton-free ceramic heater, the atomizing consumables in the cigarette oil chamber is atomized and discharged through the cigarette pipe.
In the present optional embodiment, through the heating of the cotton-free ceramic heater, the atomizing consumables in the cigarette oil chamber can be atomized and discharged through the cigarette pipe.
In the present optional embodiment, the atomizing device further comprises a first sealing gasket and a second sealing gasket, wherein the first sealing gasket is provided on the top of the cotton-free ceramic heater, and the second sealing gasket is provided on the bottom of the cotton-free ceramic heater.
In the present optional embodiment, the electronic cigarette further comprises a bracket assembly which is connected with the atomizing device, and the bracket assembly comprises a mainboard bracket and a host shell which is sleeved on the mainboard bracket;
the mainboard bracket comprises a first mounting groove and a second mounting groove, wherein the power storage unit is fixedly mounted in the first mounting groove, and the charging management unit, the touch detection unit and the charging interface are mounted in the second mounting groove; and
the mainboard bracket further comprises a third mounting groove in which the air switch is mounted.
In the present optional embodiment, the power storage unit can be fixedly mounted through the first mounting groove of the mainboard bracket; the charging management unit, the touch detection unit and the charging interface can be fixedly mounted through the second mounting groove of the mainboard backet, respectively; on the other hand, the air switch can be mounted through the third mounting groove.
In the first aspect of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the bracket assembly further comprises a bottom bracket, wherein the bottom bracket is connected with the bottom of the host shell; and
the bottom bracket comprises an opening hole, when the host shell is sleeved on the mainboard bracket, one end of the charging interface extends out from the opening hole.
In the present optional embodiment, the charging interface can be further fixed through the bottom bracket, and at the same time, the charging interface can extend out from the opening hole of the bottom bracket.
In the first aspect of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, silica gel is provided at the connection gap between the bracket assembly and the atomizing device.
In the present optional embodiment, by coating the silica gel on the connection gap between the bracket assembly and the atomizing device, the smoke leaking from the atomizing device can be absorbed, and then the spray of smoke from the end close to the charging interface is reduced.
In the first aspect of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the charging interface is at least one of a TYPE-C interface, a Micro USB, a Lightening interface and a custom interface.
In the present optional embodiment, the charging interface can flexibly be one of the TYP-C interface, the Micro USB, the Lightening interface and the custom interface, thereby broadening the application range of electronic cigarette of the present disclosure.
In addition, the second aspect of the present disclosure further discloses a control method for the electronic cigarette, and the method is applied to the electronic cigarette disclosed in the first aspect of the present disclosure, and the method comprises:
when a user touches the charging interface, the touch detection unit detects the user’s touch mode, and generates a touch signal according to the user’s touch mode, wherein the user’s touch mode is at least one of a long press, a short press, a single click and multiple clicks; and
the central control unit determines, according to the touch signal, the operating instruction corresponding to the user’s touch mode, and generates an operation control signal according to the operating instruction, wherein the operating instruction is at least one of a power regulation instruction, a closing instruction, an activating instruction and a preheating instruction.
In the second aspect of the present disclosure, the touch detection unit can detect the user’s touch mode, and then detect and identify the user’s touch mode on the charging interface while achieving charging of the electronic cigarette, so that the central control unit can generate the operation control signal for controlling the electronic cigarette according to the user’s touch mode, which thus helps regulate the power of the atomizing device, activate the atomizing device, close and preheat the atomizing device and the like. Compared with the prior art, the electronic cigarette in the present disclosure has better operating and regulating convenience.
In the second aspect of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the method further comprises:
when the operating instruction is the power regulation instruction, the central control unit regulates, according to the operation control signal, the working power of the atomizing device;
when the operating instruction is the preheating instruction, the central control unit activates the atomizing device for preheating within a preset number of seconds according to the operation control signal, and closes the atomizing device after completing the activation for the preset number of seconds;
when the operating instruction is the closing instruction, the central control unit closes the atomizing device according to the operation control signal; and
when the operating instruction is the activating instruction, the central control unit activates the atomizing device according to the operation control signal.
In the present optional embodiment, the power regulation instruction, the closing instruction, the activating instruction and the preheating instruction can respectively be used to regulate the working power of the atomizing device, and close, activate and preheat the atomizing device.

Detailed Description of Embodiments
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below in conjunction with accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
Embodiment
Referring to FIGs. 1, 2 and 3, as shown in FIGs. 1, 2 and 3, the electronic cigarette of the embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a charging interface 170, a power storage unit 2, a central control unit, a charging management unit 160, and a touch detection unit 150 electrically connected with the power storage unit 2, wherein electric energy can be supplied to the central control unit, the charging management unit 160 and the touch detection unit 150 through the power storage unit 2.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the charging management unit 160 can manage the charging process of the power storage unit 2, for example, it stops charging the electric storage unit 2 after the electric storage unit 2 is fully charged. It should be noted that the charging management unit 160 can be a PCB board, and electrically connected with the central control unit to jointly complete the charging management.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the power storage unit 2 can be a rechargeable battery, and is not defined in the embodiment of the present disclosure here.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, optionally, the power storage unit 2 is also electrically connected with the charging interface 170, which aims to store external electric energy to the power storage unit 2; and the touch detection unit 150 is also electrically connected with the charging interface 170 to detect the triggering action of a user at the charging interface 170 and generate a touch signal, wherein when the user touches the metal shell of the charging interface 170, a capacitance signal is generated, and when the capacitance signal is detected by the touch detection unit 150, the touch detection unit 150 generates a digital signal corresponding to the capacitance signal and uses the digital signal as the touch signal.
Correspondingly, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the touch detection unit 150 is also electrically connected with the central control unit, and therefore, the touch detection unit 150 can input the touch signal into the central control unit, and then the central control unit can generate an operation control signal according to the touch signal.
It should be explained that as for different touch modes of the user, the touch detection unit 150 can generate different touch signals, for example, when the user long presses the charging interface 170, the touch signal is 0001, when the user short presses the charging interface 170, the touch signal is 00001, and when the user clicks multiple times, the touch signal is 0011. In this way, the central controller can generate different operation control signals according to touch signal.
Thus it can be seen that, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, through electrically connecting the touch detection unit 150 with the charging interface 170, the user's touch mode on the charging interface 170 can be detected and identified when the electronic cigarette is charged, so that the central control unit which is electrically connected with the touch detection unit 150 can generate an operation control signal for controlling the electronic cigarette according to the user's touch mode, thereby facilitating the regulation of the electronic cigarette. Compared with the prior art, the electronic cigarette in the present disclosure has better convenience in operation and regulation. At the same time, the electronic cigarette of the present disclosure need not be provided with additional buttons because of the charging interface 170, and then the completeness of the appearance design of the electronic cigarette can be improved.
For the details, referring to FIGs. 4 and 5, as shown in FIGs. 4 and 5, the charging interface 170 (J10) is provided with 10 pins, wherein the TCH pin of the touch detection unit 150U3 is in electrical connection with the No. 9 pin of the charging interface 170 (J10) , then the electrical connection between the touch detection unit 150 and the charging interface 170 can be realized, and thus, when the user touches the charging interface 170 and the capacitance signal is generated, the touch detection unit 150 can detect this capacitance signal. It should be explained that please refer to the prior art for other specific description about the touch detection unit 150, which is not repeated in the embodiment of the present disclosure, for example, regarding the use and connection of the QC pin, GND pin, AHLB pin, TOG pin and VDD pin of the touch detection unit 150 (i.e., the No. 1 pin, the No. 2 pin, the No. 4 pin, the No. 5 pin and the No. 6 pin of the touch detection unit 150) , please refer to the related technology description of the chip with the model of “PT2033C” in the prior art.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in FIG. 4, through the electrical connection between No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 pins of the charging interface 170 (J10) and the VCC pin and the PROG pin of the charging management unit 160 (U2) , the electrical connection between the charging management unit 160 and the charging interface 170 can be realized, wherein regarding the electrical connection between No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 pins of the charging interface 170 (J10) and the VCC pin (No. 4 pin) and the PROG pin (No. 5 pin) of the charging management unit 160 (U2) , reference can be made to the prior art, and it is not repeated in the embodiment of the present disclosure.
It should be explained that reference can be made to the prior art for how to use No. 1 pin, No. 2 pin and No. 3 pin of the charging management unit 160 (U2) , for example, the relevant technology description about the chip with the model of “PT4054” .
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in FIG. 5, the QC pin of the touch detection unit 150 U3 can be connected with No. 3 pin of the central control unit U1. It should be explained that reference can be made to FIG. 4 and the prior art for the connection of No. 1, No. 2, No. 4, No. 5, No. 6, No. 7, No. 8 No. 9 and No. 10 pins of the central control unit, for example, please refer to FIG. 2 in combination with the relevant technology description of MCU of the model of “MDT10F272_MS0P10” .
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, regarding the description about other portions of the electric circuit in FIGs. 4 and 5, please refer to the prior technology, which is not defined in the embodiment of the present disclosure.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the electronic cigarette also comprises an air switch 6 and an atomizing device, wherein the air switch 6 is electrically connected with the atomizing device and the central control unit, and is used for receiving the operation control signal input by the central control unit, and regulating the working power to the atomizing device or activating or closing the atomizing device according to the operation control signal.
In the present optional embodiment, the atomizing device comprises a cotton-free ceramic heater 9, wherein the air switch 6 is electrically connected with the cotton-free ceramic heater 9, and used for regulating the working power of the cotton-free ceramic heater 9, or activating or closing the cotton-free ceramic heater 9 according to the operation control signal.
In the present optional embodiment, through the operation control signal, the working power of the cotton-free ceramic heater 9 can be regulated, or the activating or closing of the cotton-free ceramic heater 9 can be controlled, and therefore, the user can conveniently and quickly regulate the working power of the cotton-free ceramic heater 9 according to the factors such as the characteristics of different atomizing consumables, and at the same time, the operation of the user can be identified and then the cotton-free ceramic heater 9 can be further activated or closed.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the atomizing device further comprises a cigarette oil chamber 120 and a cigarette pipe 110 provided with atomizing consumables; the bottom of the cigarette pipe 110 abuts against the top of the cotton-free ceramic heater 9; and both the cigarette pipe 110 and the cotton-free ceramic heater 9 extend into the cigarette oil chamber 120, and through the heating of the cotton-free ceramic heater 9, the atomizing consumables in the cigarette oil chamber 120 is atomized and discharged through the cigarette pipe 110.
In the present optional embodiment, through the cotton-free ceramic heater 9, the atomizing consumables inside the cigarette oil chamber 120 can be atomized and discharged through the cigarette pipe 110.
In the present optional embodiment, the atomizing device further comprises a first sealing gasket 10 and a second sealing gasket 8, wherein the first sealing gasket 10 is provided on the top of the cotton-free ceramic heater 9, and the second sealing gasket 8 is provided on the bottom of the cotton-free ceramic heater 9.
In the present optional embodiment, the electronic cigarette further comprises a bracket assembly which is connected with the atomizing device, and the bracket assembly comprises a mainboard bracket 3 and a host shell 4 which is sleeved on the mainboard bracket 3; and
the mainboard bracket 3 comprises a first mounting groove and a second mounting groove, wherein the power storage unit 2 is fixedly mounted in the first mounting groove, and the charging management unit 160, the touch detection unit 150 and the charging interface 170 are all mounted in the second mounting groove. Correspondingly, the mainboard bracket 3 also comprises a third mounting groove in which the air switch 6 is mounted.
In the present optional embodiment, the power storage unit 2 can be fixedly mounted through the first mounting groove of the mainboard bracket 3, the charging management unit 160, the touch detection unit 150 and the charging interface 170 can be fixedly mounted through the second mounting groove of the mainboard backet 3, on the other hand, the air switch 6 can be mounted through the third mounting groove.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the bracket assembly further comprises a bottom bracket 5 which is connected with the bottom of the host shell 4; and the bottom bracket comprises an opening hole, wherein when the host shell 4 is sleeved on the mainboard bracket 3, one end of the charging interface 170 extends out from the opening hole.
In the present optional embodiment, the charging interface 170 can be further fixed through the bottom bracket 5 and can extend out from the opening hole of the bottom bracket 5 at the same time.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, a silica gel 7 is provided at the connection gap between the bracket assembly and the atomizing device. In the present optional embodiment, by coating the connection gap with silica gel 7 between the bracket assembly and the atomizing device, the smoke leaking from the atomizing device can be absorbed, thereby reducing the spray of smoke from the end close to the charging interface 170.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the charging interface 170 is at least one of TYPE-C interface, Micro USB, Lightening interface, and a custom interface. In the present optional embodiment, the charging interface 170 can be flexibly one of the TYPE-C interface, the Micro USB interface, the Lightening interface and a custom interface, so as to broaden the application range of electronic cigarette of the present disclosure.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the electronic cigarette further comprises an upper cover 140 of a cartridge and a sealing gasket 130 of the upper cover of the cartridge, wherein through the sealing gasket 130 of the upper cover of the cartridge, the upper cover 140 of the cartridge can seal and cover the top end of the cigarette oil chamber 120.
Furthermore, the embodiment of the present disclosure further discloses a control method for the electronic cigarette, and the method is applied to the electronic cigarette in the embodiments of the present disclosure, wherein as shown in FIG, 6, the control method for the electronic cigarette comprises the following steps:
Thus, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the touch detection unit 150 can detect the user’s touch mode, and further detect and identify the user’s touch mode on the charging interface 170 when the electronic cigarette is charged, so that the central control unit can generate the operation control signal for controlling the electronic cigarette according to the user’s touch mode, which helps regulate the power of the atomizing device, activate the atomizing device, close and preheat the atomizing device, and the like. Compared with the prior art, the electronic cigarette in the present disclosure has better convenience in operation and regulation.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the user’s touch mode can also comprise other modes which can be detected by the touch detection unit 150, for example, it comprises a slide operation which can be detected and identified by the touch detection unit 150.
In the embodiments of the present disclosure, as an optional embodiment, the method of the embodiment of the present disclosure further comprises:
when the operating instruction is the power regulation instruction, the central control unit regulates the working power of the atomizing device according to the operation control signal;
when the operating instruction is the preheating instruction, the central control unit activates the atomizing device for preheating within a preset number of seconds according to the operation control signal, and closes the atomizing device after the preset number of seconds for activation;
when the operating instruction is the closing instruction, the central control unit closes the atomizing device according to the operation control signal; and
when the operating instruction is the activating instruction, the central control unit activates the atomizing device according to the operation control signal.
In the present optional embodiment, the power regulation instruction, the closing instruction, and the activating instruction can respectively be used to regulate the working power of the atomizing device, and close, activate and preheat the atomizing device.
The electronic cigarette and the control method for the electronic cigarette in the embodiments of the present disclosure can be applied to multiple application scenarios; when the user activates the closing instruction (for example, using a finger to continuously click the TYPE-C interface for 5 times) , the touch detection unit generates the corresponding digital signal, and then the central control unit can determine, according to the digital signal, that it is the closing instruction and then closes the electronic cigarette, and therefore this can prevent children’s or juvenile’s use of the atomizing electronic cigarette and reduces the risk of mistaken activating during product storage and delivery. Furthermore, for example, when the user clicks continuously for 3 times, the preheating of the electronic cigarette can be realized, when the user long presses, the working power of the atomizing device can be regulated, and the like. Therefore, compared with the prior art, the electronic cigarette and the control method thereof in the embodiments of the present disclosure has better operation flexibility.

- An electronic cigarette, wherein the electronic cigarette comprises:a charging interface, a power storage unit and a central control unit , a charging management unit and a touch detection unit electrically connected to the power storage unit, wherein the power storage unit is configured to provide electrical energy to the central control unit, the charging management unit and the touch detection unit;the power storage unit is also electrically connected with the charging interface for storing external electrical energy to the power storage unit;the touch detection unit is electrically connected with the charging interface for detecting a triggering action of a user at the charging interface and generating a touch signal; andthe touch detection unit is also electrically connected with the central control unit, and the touch detection unit is also configured to input the touch signal into the central control unit, so that the central control unit generates an operation control signal according to the touch signal.
- The electronic cigarette according to claim 1, wherein the electronic cigarette further comprises an air switch and an atomizing device, wherein the air switch is electrically connected with the atomizing device and the central control unit, and is configured to receive the operation control signal input by the central control unit, and regulating a working power of the atomizing device, or activating or closing the atomizing device according to the operation control signal.
- The electronic cigarette according to claim 2, wherein the atomizing device comprises a cotton-free ceramic heater, and the air switch is electrically connected with the cotton-free ceramic heater and is configured to regulate a working power of the cotton-free ceramic heater, or activating or closing the cotton-free ceramic heater according to the operation control signal.
- The electronic cigarette according to claim 3, wherein the atomizing device further comprises a cigarette oil chamber and a cigarette pipe provided with atomizing consumables, and a bottom of the cigarette pipe abuts against a top of the cotton-free ceramic heater; andboth the cigarette pipe and the cotton-free ceramic heater extend into the cigarette oil chamber, and via heating by the cotton-free ceramic heater, the atomizing consumables in the cigarette oil chamber is atomized and discharged through the cigarette pipe.
- The electronic cigarette according to claim 4, wherein the atomizing device further comprises a first sealing gasket and a second sealing gasket, wherein the first sealing gasket is provided on the top of the cotton-free ceramic heater, and the second sealing gasket is provided on a bottom of the cotton-free ceramic heater.
- The electronic cigarette according to claim 2, wherein the electronic cigarette further comprises a bracket assembly connected with the atomizing device, wherein the bracket assembly comprises a mainboard bracket and a host shell which is sleeved on the mainboard bracket;the mainboard bracket comprises a first mounting groove and a second mounting groove, wherein the power storage unit is fixedly mounted in the first mounting groove, and the charging management unit, the touch detection unit and the charging interface are mounted in the second mounting groove; andthe mainboard bracket further comprises a third mounting groove, wherein the air switch is mounted in the third mounting groove.
- The electronic cigarette according to claim 6, wherein the bracket assembly further comprises a bottom bracket, wherein the bottom bracket is connected with a bottom of the host shell; andthe bottom bracket comprises an opening hole, when the host shell is sleeved on the mainboard bracket, one end of the charging interface extends out from the opening hole.
- The electronic cigarette according to claim 6, wherein silica gel is provided at a connection gap between the bracket assembly and the atomizing device.
- The electronic cigarette according to claim 1, wherein the charging interface is at least one of a TYPE-C interface, a Micro USB, a Lightening interface and a custom interface.
- A method for controlling an electronic cigarette, wherein the method is applied to the electronic cigarette according to any one of claims 1-9, and the method comprises:detecting, when a user touches the charging interface, through the touch detection unit, a touch mode of the user and generating a touch signal according to the touch mode of the user, wherein the touch mode of the user is at least one of a long press, a short press, a single click and multiple clicks; anddetermining, according to the touch signal, through the central control unit, an operating instruction corresponding to the touch mode of the user and generating an operation control signal according to the operating instruction, wherein the operating instruction is at least one of a power regulation instruction, a closing instruction, an activating instruction and a preheating instruction.
- The method for controlling an electronic cigarette according to claim 10, wherein the method further comprises:regulating, when the operating instruction is the power regulation instruction, according to the operation control signal, a working power of the atomizing device through the central control unit;activating, when the operating instruction is the preheating instruction, the atomizing device for preheating within a preset number of seconds according to the operation control signal through the central control unit, and closing the atomizing device after activating for the preset number of seconds;closing, when the operating instruction is the closing instruction, the atomizing device according to the operation control signal through the central control unit; andactivating, when the operating instruction is the activating instruction, the atomizing device according to the operation control signal through the central control unit.
