Abstract

La présente invention concerne une électrode en cuivre individuelle qui vise à prolonger la durée de vie de l'électrode dans le trou à laitier. La conception particulière de cette pièce en matière de résistance aux contraintes thermiques permet d'obtenir une pièce de protection fiable contre une température de 1200 °C. La chaleur générée dans le corps de cette pièce est expulsée par l'intermédiaire d'un fluide circulant dans les conduits conçus à cet effet et la température de la pièce reste constante dans la mesure où elle n'endommage pas la pièce.
