特許文献2及び3では、加水分解性シリル基含有ポリオキシアルキレン系重合体を含む加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物が記載されている。
しかしながら、アルコキシシラン系脱水剤を配合した硬化性組成物は、貯蔵中に系中でアルコキシシラン系脱水剤と水が反応する。そのため、室温硬化と比較して短時間で硬化を進行させる加熱硬化時には、硬化反応に寄与する水が不十分となって硬化性が低下し、硬化物中に気泡が生じる問題があった。
そのため、前記硬化性組成物を加熱硬化型のものとして使用する時には、貯蔵安定性と加熱時の硬化性のバランスについて改善の余地があった。
(A)一般式(1)に示す加水分解性シリル基を有するポリオキシアルキレン系重合体、

(式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、炭素原子数1~20の炭化水素基を表し、前記炭化水素基は、ヘテロ含有基を有してもよい。Xは、それぞれ独立に、水酸基または加水分解性基を表す。aは1、2、または3である。)
(B)アルミニウム及び亜鉛からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属元素と、配位子であるキレート化合物とを含む金属化合物、並びに
(C)キレート化合物、
を含有する加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物に関する。
前記加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物は、更に(D)エポキシ基を1分子中に少なくとも2個含有するエポキシ化合物を含有するものであってもよい。
前記加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物は、更に(T)ゼオライト系吸着剤を含有するものであってもよい。
好ましくは、前記加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物の含水率が、100~500ppmである。
好ましくは、キレート化合物(C)が、β-ジカルボニル化合物であり、さらに好ましくは、β-ジケトン及びβ-ケトエステルからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である。
好ましくは、一般式(1)中のaが3である。
好ましくは、エポキシ化合物(D)が、脂環式エポキシ化合物である。
好ましくは、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、金属化合物(B)の含有量が0.1~10重量部であり、キレート化合物(C)の含有量が0.1~10重量部である。
好ましくは、金属化合物(B)中の前記金属元素のモル数に対する、金属化合物(B)中の前記キレート化合物とキレート化合物(C)の合計モル数の比率が、3を超える。
本発明は、重合体(A)、金属化合物(B)、及び、キレート化合物(C)を混合する工程を含む、前記加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物を製造する方法にも関する。
また本発明は、前記加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物を硬化させてなる硬化物に関する。
さらに本発明は、前記加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物を加熱硬化させる工程を含む、硬化物の製造方法に関する。
好ましくは、前記製造方法は、前記加熱硬化させる工程の前に、前記加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物を密閉下で23℃~50℃で1日~4週間貯蔵する工程をさらに含む。
好ましくは、前記加熱硬化させる工程の温度が40~220℃である。

本実施形態に係る加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物は、硬化性樹脂として、(A)一般式(1)に示す加水分解性シリル基を有するポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(以下、重合体(A)ともいう)を含有する。

重合体(A)が有する加水分解性シリル基は、一般式(1):

(式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、炭素原子数1~20の炭化水素基を表し、前記炭化水素基は、ヘテロ含有基を有してもよい。Xは、それぞれ独立に、水酸基または加水分解性基を表す。aは1、2、または3である。)
で表される。
これらの炭化水素基が、前述のヘテロ含有基で置換された基も、R1として好ましい。
式(2)中、R2は、直接結合、又は炭素原子数1~4の2価の炭化水素基を表し、R3は水素または炭素原子数1~6のアルキル基を表す。左端の酸素は、複数の繰り返し単位が連結して構成される重合体骨格の末端に位置する繰り返し単位中の酸素、又は、前記重合体骨格の末端に位置する繰り返し単位に結合した酸素を示す。R1、X、及びaは、式(1)について上述したものと同じである。
重合体(A)の主鎖構造は、直鎖状であってもよいし、分岐鎖を有していてもよい。
次に重合体(A)を製造する方法について説明する。重合体(A)は、加水分解性シリル基を導入することが可能な前駆重合体に対し、加水分解性シリル基を導入することで製造できる。具体的には、重合体(A)は、末端に水酸基を有するポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(E)に対し、水酸基の反応性を利用してオレフィン基を導入して、オレフィン基を有する前駆重合体を得た後、該前駆重合体に、該オレフィン基との反応性を有する加水分解性シリル基含有化合物を反応させて加水分解性シリル基を導入することで製造できる。
ポリオキシアルキレン系重合体の重合体骨格は、従来公知の方法によって、水酸基を有する開始剤にエポキシ化合物を重合させることで形成することができ、これによって末端に水酸基を有するポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(E)が得られる。具体的な重合方法としては特に限定されないが、分子量分布(Mw/Mn)の小さい水酸基末端重合体が得られることから、亜鉛ヘキサシアノコバルテートグライム錯体等の複合金属シアン化物錯体触媒を用いた重合方法が好ましい。
末端に水酸基を有するポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(E)に対しオレフィン基を導入するにあたっては、まず、ポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(E)に対しアルカリ金属塩を作用させて末端の水酸基をメタルオキシ基に変換することが好ましい。また、アルカリ金属塩の代わりに、複合金属シアン化物錯体触媒を用いることもできる。以上によって、メタルオキシ基末端ポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(F)が形成される。
以上のようにして得られたメタルオキシ基末端ポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(F)に対し、オレフィン基を有する求電子剤(G)を作用させることで、メタルオキシ基を、オレフィン基を含む構造に変換することができる。これにより、末端構造中にオレフィン基を有するポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(H)が形成される。
以上によって得られた末端構造中にオレフィン基を有するポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(H)または、末端構造中に炭素-炭素三重結合を有するポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(J)(前駆重合体)に対し、加水分解性シリル基を有するヒドロシラン化合物(K)をヒドロシリル化反応させることで、重合体に加水分解性シリル基を導入することができる。これにより、加水分解性シリル基含有ポリオキシアルキレン系重合体(A)が製造される。ヒドロシリル化反応には、簡便に実施できることに加え、加水分解性シリル基の導入量の調整が容易であり、また、得られる重合体の物性が安定している利点がある。
本実施形態に係る加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物は、重合体(A)の硬化触媒として、(B)アルミニウム及び亜鉛からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属元素と、配位子であるキレート化合物とを含む金属化合物(以下、金属化合物(B)ともいう)を含有する。
キレート化合物としては、一般に知られているものを使用することができ、具体例としては、1,2-ジアミノエタン、N,N’-ジ-tert-ブチルエチレンジアミン、1,2-シクロヘキサンジアミン、2,2’-ビピリジン、2,2’-(メチルイミノ)ビス(N,N-ジ-n-オクチルアセトアミド)、トリス(2-アミノエチル)アミン、3,3’-イミノビス(N,N-ジメチルプロピルアミン)等の含窒素化合物類;アセチルアセトン、トリフルオロアセチルアセトン、3-フェニルアセチルアセトン、1-フェニル-1,3-ブタンジオン、2,4-ヘキサンジオン、2,4-ヘプタンジオン、ジベンゾイルメタン、1,3-シクロヘキサンジオン等のβ-ジケトン、アセト酢酸メチル、アセト酢酸エチル、アセト酢酸プロピル、アセト酢酸ブチル、メチルピバロイルアセテート、メチルイソブチロイルアセテート、カプロイル酢酸メチル、ラウロイル酢酸メチル等のβ-ケトエステル、等の含酸素化合物類;N-メチル-3-オキソ-N-フェニルブタンアミド等のβ-ケトアミド、等の含酸素・窒素化合物類;1,2-ビス(ジフェニルホスフィノ)エタン、1,2-ビス(ジフェニルホスフィノ)プロパン、1,2-ビス(ジフェニルホスフィノ)ブタン、1,1’-ビス(ジフェニルホスフィノ)フェロセン、2,2’-ビス(ジフェニルホスフィノ)-1,1’-ビナフチル、キサントホス等の含リン化合物類が挙げられる。
本実施形態に係る加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物は、重合体(A)および金属化合物(B)に加えて、(C)キレート化合物(以下、キレート化合物(C)ともいう)をさらに含有する。
本実施形態に係る加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物は、重合体(A)、金属化合物(B)およびキレート化合物(C)に加えて、さらに(D)エポキシ基を1分子中に少なくとも2個含有するエポキシ化合物(以下、エポキシ化合物(D)ともいう)を含有しても良い。(D)エポキシ基を1分子中に少なくとも2個含有するエポキシ化合物を添加することによって、接着性が向上する効果を得ることができる。更に、硬化性組成物を密閉下で貯蔵した後に硬化性が向上する効果を得ることができる。
本実施形態に係る加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物は、貯蔵時の硬化性組成物の増粘を抑制するため、脱水剤として(T)ゼオライト系吸着剤(以下、ゼオライト系吸着剤(T)ともいう)を更に含有することが好ましい。
本実施形態に係る加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物は、重合体(A)、金属化合物(B)、キレート化合物(C)、及びエポキシ化合物(D)以外に、必要に応じて、種々の添加剤を更に含有してもよい。
<シラノール縮合触媒>
硬化性組成物には、金属化合物(B)の効果を妨げない範囲で、金属化合物(B)以外のシラノール縮合触媒を使用してもよい。
硬化性組成物には、種々の充填剤を配合することができる。充填剤としては、重質炭酸カルシウム、膠質炭酸カルシウム、炭酸マグネシウム、ケイソウ土、クレー、タルク、カオリン、シリチン、及び焼成シリチン、酸化チタン、ヒュームドシリカ、沈降性シリカ、結晶性シリカ、溶融シリカ、無水ケイ酸、含水ケイ酸、カーボンブラック、酸化第二鉄、アルミニウム微粉末、酸化亜鉛、活性亜鉛華、PVC粉末、PMMA粉末、ガラス繊維およびフィラメントなどが挙げられる。
充填剤の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、1~400重量部が好ましく、10~300重量部が特に好ましい。
バルーンの使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、0.1~100重量部が好ましく、1~20重量部が特に好ましい。
硬化性組成物には、接着性付与剤を添加することができる。接着性付与剤としては、シランカップリング剤、シランカップリング剤の反応物を添加することができる。
シランカップリング剤の具体例としては、γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、N-β-アミノエチル-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N-β-アミノエチル-γ-アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、N-フェニル-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、および(2-アミノエチル)アミノメチルトリメトキシシランなどのアミノ基含有シラン類;γ-イソシアネートプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-イソシアネートプロピルトリエトキシシラン、γ-イソシアネートプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、α-イソシアネートメチルトリメトキシシラン、およびα-イソシアネートメチルジメトキシメチルシランなどのイソシアネート基含有シラン類;γ-メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-メルカプトプロピルトリエトキシシラン、およびγ-メルカプトプロピルメチルジメトキシシランなどのメルカプト基含有シラン類;3-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルトリエトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルメチルジエトキシシラン、およびβ-(3,4-エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリメトキシシランなどのエポキシ基含有シラン類、が挙げられる。更にアミノ基含有シラン類を用いる場合は硬化性向上のため、好ましい。
上記接着性付与剤は1種類のみで使用してもよいし、2種類以上混合使用してもよい。また、各種シランカップリング剤の反応物も接着性付与剤として使用できる。
シランカップリング剤の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、0.1~20重量部が好ましく、0.5~10重量部が特に好ましい。
硬化性組成物には、可塑剤を添加することができる。可塑剤の具体例としては、ジブチルフタレート、ジイソノニルフタレート(DINP)、ジヘプチルフタレート、ジ(2-エチルヘキシル)フタレート、ジイソデシルフタレート(DIDP)、およびブチルベンジルフタレートなどのフタル酸エステル化合物;ビス(2-エチルヘキシル)-1,4-ベンゼンジカルボキシレートなどのテレフタル酸エステル化合物;1,2-シクロヘキサンジカルボン酸ジイソノニルエステルなどの非フタル酸エステル化合物;アジピン酸ジオクチル、セバシン酸ジオクチル、セバシン酸ジブチル、コハク酸ジイソデシル、およびアセチルクエン酸トリブチルなどの脂肪族多価カルボン酸エステル化合物;オレイン酸ブチル、およびアセチルリシノール酸メチルなどの不飽和脂肪酸エステル化合物;アルキルスルホン酸フェニルエステル;リン酸エステル化合物;トリメリット酸エステル化合物;塩素化パラフィン;アルキルジフェニル、および部分水添ターフェニルなどの炭化水素系油;プロセスオイル;エポキシ化大豆油、エポキシ化アマニ油、ビス(2-エチルヘキシル)-4,5-エポキシシクロヘキサン-1,2-ジカーボキシレート(E-PS)、エポキシオクチルステアレート、エポキシブチルステアレートおよびエポキシステアリン酸ベンジルなどのエポキシ可塑剤などを挙げることができる。
また、高分子可塑剤を使用することができる。高分子可塑剤の具体例としては、ビニル系重合体;ポリエステル系可塑剤;数平均分子量500以上のポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコールなどのポリエーテルポリオール、これらポリエーテルポリオールのヒドロキシ基をエステル基、エーテル基などに変換した誘導体などのポリエーテル類;ポリスチレン類;ポリブタジエン、ポリブテン、ポリイソブチレン、ブタジエン-アクリロニトリル、およびポリクロロプレンなどが挙げられる。
可塑剤の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、5~150重量部が好ましく、10~120重量部がより好ましく、20~100重量部が特に好ましい。上記の範囲内で可塑剤を使用すると、可塑剤としての所望する効果を得つつ、機械強度に優れる硬化物を形成できる硬化性組成物を得やすい。可塑剤は、単独で使用してもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
硬化性組成物には、タレを防止し、作業性を良くするためにタレ防止剤を、必要に応じて添加してもよい。タレ防止剤としては特に限定されない。タレ防止剤としては、例えば、ポリアミドワックス類;水添ヒマシ油誘導体類;ステアリン酸カルシウム、ステアリン酸アルミニウム、およびステアリン酸バリウムなどの金属石鹸類などが挙げられる。これらタレ防止剤は単独で用いてもよく、2種以上併用してもよい。
タレ防止剤の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、0.1~20重量部が好ましい。
硬化性組成物には、酸化防止剤(老化防止剤)を使用することができる。酸化防止剤を使用すると硬化物の耐候性を高めることができる。酸化防止剤としてはヒンダードフェノール系、モノフェノール系、ビスフェノール系、ジアリールアミン系、およびポリフェノール系が例示できる。酸化防止剤の具体例は、例えば、特開平4-283259号公報や特開平9-194731号公報に記載されている。
酸化防止剤の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、0.1~15重量部が好ましく、1.0~10重量部が特に好ましい。
硬化性組成物には、光安定剤を使用することができる。光安定剤を使用すると硬化物の光酸化劣化を防止できる。光安定剤としてベンゾトリアゾール系、ヒンダードアミン系、およびベンゾエート系化合物などが例示できる。光安定剤として、特にヒンダードアミン系が好ましい。
光安定剤の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、0.1~10重量部が好ましく、0.2~5重量部が特に好ましい。
硬化性組成物には、紫外線吸収剤を使用することができる。紫外線吸収剤を使用すると硬化物の表面耐候性を高めることができる。紫外線吸収剤としてはベンゾフェノン系、ベンゾトリアゾール系、サリチレート系、置換トリル系、および金属キレート系化合物などを例示できる。紫外線吸収剤としては、特にベンゾトリアゾール系が好ましい。ベンゾトリアゾール系の紫外線吸収剤の好適な具体例としては、市販名チヌビンP、チヌビン213、チヌビン234、チヌビン326、チヌビン327、チヌビン328、チヌビン329、およびチヌビン571(以上、BASF製)が挙げられる。
紫外線吸収剤の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、0.1~10重量部が好ましく、0.2~5重量部が特に好ましい。
硬化性組成物には、必要に応じて、生成する硬化物の引張特性を調整する物性調整剤を添加してもよい。物性調整剤としては特に限定されない。物性調整剤としては、例えば、フェノキシトリメチルシラン、メチルトリメトキシシラン、ジメチルジメトキシシラン、トリメチルメトキシシラン、およびn-プロピルトリメトキシシランなどのアルキルアルコキシシラン類;ジフェニルジメトキシシラン、およびフェニルトリメトキシシランなどのアリールアルコキシシラン類;ジメチルジイソプロペノキシシラン、メチルトリイソプロペノキシシラン、およびγ-グリシドキシプロピルメチルジイソプロペノキシシランなどのアルキルイソプロペノキシシラン;トリス(トリメチルシリル)ボレート、およびトリス(トリエチルシリル)ボレートなどのトリアルキルシリルボレート類;シリコーンワニス類;ポリシロキサン類などが挙げられる。物性調整剤を用いることにより、硬化性組成物の硬化物の硬度を上げたり、逆に硬度を下げ、破断伸びを出したりし得る。物性調整剤は単独で用いてもよく、2種以上併用してもよい。
物性調整剤の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、0.1~10重量部が好ましく、0.5~5重量部が特に好ましい。
硬化性組成物には光硬化性物質を使用できる。光硬化性物質を使用すると硬化物表面に光硬化性物質の皮膜が形成され、硬化物のべたつきや硬化物の耐候性を改善できる。この種の物質としては、有機単量体、オリゴマー、樹脂あるいはそれらを含む組成物など多くの物質が知られている。代表的な物質としては、アクリル系またはメタクリル系不飽和基を1ないし数個有するモノマー、オリゴマーあるいはそれらの混合物である不飽和アクリル系化合物、ポリケイ皮酸ビニル類あるいはアジド化樹脂などが使用できる。
光硬化性物質の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して、0.1~20重量部が好ましく、0.5~10重量部がより好ましい。上記の範囲内で光硬化性物質を用いると、耐候性に優れ、柔軟であってヒビ割れが生じにくい硬化物を形成できる硬化性組成物を得やすい。
硬化性組成物には酸素硬化性物質を使用することができる。酸素硬化性物質には空気中の酸素と反応し得る不飽和化合物を例示できる。酸素硬化性物質は、空気中の酸素と反応して硬化物の表面付近に硬化皮膜を形成し表面のべたつきや硬化物表面へのゴミやホコリの付着を防止するなどの作用を奏する。
酸素硬化性物質の具体例には、キリ油、およびアマニ油などで代表される乾性油や、該化合物を変性して得られる各種アルキッド樹脂;アクリル系重合体、エポキシ系樹脂、およびシリコン樹脂などの樹脂の乾性油による変性物;ブタジエン、クロロプレン、イソプレン、および1,3-ペンタジエンなどのジエン系化合物を重合または共重合させて得られる1,2-ポリブタジエン、1,4-ポリブタジエン、および炭素数5~8のジエンの重合体などの液状重合体などが挙げられる。これらは単独で用いてもよく、2種以上併用してもよい。
酸素硬化性物質の使用量は、重合体(A)100重量部に対して0.1~20重量部が好ましく、0.5~10重量部がより好ましい。酸素硬化性物質の使用量が上記の範囲内であると、十分な汚染性の改善効果を得やすく、且つ硬化物の引張り特性などを損ないにくい。特開平3-160053号公報に記載されているように、酸素硬化性物質は光硬化性物質と併用されるのが好ましい。
本実施形態に係る硬化性組成物は、すべての配合成分を混合して密封保存し、施工後空気中の湿気により硬化する1成分型として調製することが可能である。
本実施形態に係る硬化性組成物は、硬化に先だって、塗布、注型、または充填などの方法によって、所望の形状に整えられる。塗布、注型、または充填され、形状を整えられた硬化性組成物は、加熱下で硬化させることが好ましい。
本実施形態に係る硬化性組成物は、粘着剤、建造物・船舶・自動車・バス・道路・家電製品などにおけるシーリング施工用のシーリング材、型取剤、接着剤、塗料、および吹付剤などに使用できる。また、本実施形態に係る硬化性組成物を硬化して得られる硬化物は、防水材、塗膜防水材、防振材、制振材、防音材、および発泡材料などとして好適に使用される。得られる硬化物が柔軟性および接着性に優れることから、本実施形態に係る硬化性組成物は、上記の用途の中でも、シーリング材または接着剤として用いられることがより好ましい。

数平均分子量が約4,500のポリオキシプロピレントリオールを開始剤とし、亜鉛ヘキサシアノコバルテートグライム錯体触媒にてプロピレンオキサイドの重合を行い、末端に水酸基を有する数平均分子量24,600(末端基換算分子量17,400)、分子量分布Mw/Mn=1.31のポリオキシプロピレン(P-1)を得た。
得られた水酸基末端ポリオキシプロピレン(P-1)の水酸基に対して1.2モル当量のナトリウムメトキシドを28%メタノール溶液として添加した。真空脱揮によりメタノールを留去した後、重合体(P-1)の水酸基に対して、さらに1.5モル当量の塩化アリルを添加して末端の水酸基をアリル基に変換した。未反応の塩化アリルを減圧脱揮により除去した。得られた未精製のポリオキシプロピレンをn-ヘキサン及び水と混合攪拌した後、遠心分離により水を除去し、得られたヘキサン溶液からヘキサンを減圧脱揮することでポリマー中の金属塩を除去した。以上により、末端にアリル基を有するポリオキシプロピレン(Q-1)を得た。
得られた重合体(Q-1)500gに対して白金ジビニルジシロキサン錯体溶液(白金換算で3重量%のイソプロパノール溶液)50μLを加え、撹拌しながら、トリメトキシシラン8.5gをゆっくりと滴下した。100℃で2時間反応させた後、未反応のトリメトキシシランを減圧下留去する事により、末端にトリメトキシシリル基を有する数平均分子量26,200のポリオキシプロピレン(A-1)を得た。重合体(A-1)はトリメトキシシリル基を1つの末端に平均0.7個、1分子中に平均2.1個有することが分かった。
数平均分子量が約3,000のポリオキシプロピレングリコールを開始剤とし、亜鉛ヘキサシアノコバルテートグライム錯体触媒にてプロピレンオキサイドの重合を行い、両末端に水酸基を有する数平均分子量27,900(末端基換算分子量17700)、分子量分布Mw/Mn=1.21のポリオキシプロピレン(P-2)を得た。
得られた重合体(P-2)の水酸基に対して1.0モル当量のナトリウムメトキシドを28%メタノール溶液として添加した。真空脱揮によりメタノールを留去した後、重合体(P-2)の水酸基に対して、1.0モル当量のアリルグリシジルエーテルを添加して130℃で2時間反応を行った。その後、0.3モル当量のナトリウムメトキシドのメタノール溶液を添加してメタノールを除去し、さらに1.8モル当量の塩化アリルを添加して末端の水酸基をアリル基に変換した。得られた未精製のポリオキシプロピレンをn-ヘキサン及び水と混合攪拌した後、遠心分離により水を除去し、得られたヘキサン溶液からヘキサンを減圧脱揮することでポリマー中の金属塩を除去した。以上により、末端に複数の炭素-炭素不飽和結合を有するポリオキシプロピレン(Q-2)を得た。
得られた重合体(Q-2)500gに対し白金ジビニルジシロキサン錯体溶液(白金換算で3重量%のイソプロパノール溶液)50μLを加え、撹拌しながらトリメトキシシラン9.6gをゆっくりと滴下した。その混合溶液を90℃で2時間反応させた後、未反応のトリメトキシシランを減圧下留去する事により、末端に複数のトリメトキシシリル基を有する数平均分子量が28,000のポリオキシプロピレン(A-2)を得た。重合体(A-2)はトリメトキシシリル基を1つの末端に平均1.7個、一分子中に平均3.4個有することが分かった。
合成例1で得られた重合体(Q-1)500gに対して白金ジビニルジシロキサン錯体溶液(白金換算で3重量%のイソプロパノール溶液)50μlを加え、撹拌しながら、ジメトキシメチルシラン6.4gをゆっくりと滴下した。100℃で2時間反応させた後、未反応のジメトキシメチルシランを減圧下留去する事により、末端にジメトキシメチルシリル基を有する数平均分子量26,200のポリオキシプロピレン(A-3)を得た。重合体(A-3)はジメトキシメチルシリル基を1つの末端に平均0.7個、1分子中に平均2.2個有することが分かった。
数平均分子量が約4500のポリオキシプロピレングリコールを開始剤とし、亜鉛ヘキサシアノコバルテートグライム錯体触媒にてプロピレンオキサイドの重合を行い、末端に水酸基を有する数平均分子量27900のポリオキシプロピレン(P-3)を得た。重合体(P-3)100重量部に対して、メルカプト錫系触媒(日東化成製U-360)50ppm、及び、重合体が有する水酸基に対して0.95モル当量の3-イソシアネートプロピルトリメトキシシランを添加し、重合体が有する水酸基に対しウレタン化反応を実施して、シリル基含有ポリオキシプロピレン(A-4)を得た。
合成例1で得た重合体(A-1)100重量部に対して、酸化防止剤(BASFジャパン(株)製、商品名:Irganox245)5重量部、表面処理膠質炭酸カルシウム(竹原化学工業(株)製、商品名:NEOLIGHT SP)160重量部、重質炭酸カルシウム(丸尾カルシウム(株)製、商品名:LM2200)54重量部、カーボンブラック(Orion Engineered Carbons製、商品名:HIBLACK 10)20重量部、可塑剤としてポリプロピレングリコール(三井化学SKCポリウレタン(株)製、商品名:アクトコール P-23、数平均分子量3000)10重量部、サンソサイザー E-PS(新日本理化社製、4,5-エポキシシクロヘキサン-1,2-ジカルボン酸-ジ-2-エチルヘキシル)40重量部を計量し、スパチュラを用いて混合した後、3本ロールミルに3回通して分散させた。この後、プラネタリーミキサーを用いて120℃で2時間減圧乾燥を行い、得られた配合物の含水率を測定した。50℃以下に冷却後、エポキシシランカップリング剤として3-グリシドキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン(信越化学工業社製、商品名:KBM-402)2重量部、β-ジカルボニル化合物としてアセチルアセトン(東京化成工業株式会社製)を1重量部添加して混合した。さらに硬化触媒としてトリスアセチルアセトナートアルミニウム(キシダ化学(株)製)2重量部を添加し混合することにより硬化性組成物を得た。得られた硬化性組成物を防湿性のカートリッジに充填し、密封することにより1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物1)を得た。
エポキシ化合物として3’,4’-エポキシシクロヘキシルメチル3,4-エポキシシクロヘキサンカルボキシレート(株式会社ダイセル社製、商品名:セロキサイド2021P)2重量部をさらに添加した以外は製造例1と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物2)を得た。
プラネタリーミキサーを用いて120℃で2時間減圧乾燥の代わりに、120℃で3.5時間減圧乾燥を行い、得られた配合物の含水率を測定した以外は製造例2と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物3)を得た。
エポキシ化合物として3’,4’-エポキシシクロヘキシルメチル3,4-エポキシシクロヘキサンカルボキシレート(株式会社ダイセル社製、商品名:セロキサイド2021P)2重量部をさらに添加し、トリスアセチルアセトナートアルミニウム2重量部の代わりに、ビスアセチルアセトナート亜鉛(東京化成工業株式会社製)2重量部を使用した以外は配合物1の作製と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物4)を得た。
アセチルアセトンを使用しなかった以外は、製造例1と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物5)を得た。
トリスアセチルアセトナートアルミニウム2重量部の代わりに、ジブチル錫ビス(アセチルアセトナート)(日東化成(株)製、商品名:ネオスタンU-220H)0.1重量部を使用し、エポキシ化合物として3’,4’-エポキシシクロヘキシルメチル3,4-エポキシシクロヘキサンカルボキシレート(株式会社ダイセル社製、商品名:セロキサイド2021P)2重量部を使用した以外は製造例1と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物6)を得た。
表1に記載の配合物を鋼板上に20mm×5mmのビード状に塗布した後に、160℃で30分間の加熱条件で硬化させた。室温(23℃)に戻した後、硬化物をカッターナイフで切って切断面の硬化状態及び気泡の有無を目視にて確認した。結果を表1に示す。
一方、比較例1は、キレート化合物(C)を含まないものであり、比較例2は、硬化触媒として金属化合物(B)の代わりに錫触媒を使用したものであり、いずれも40℃で貯蔵中にカートリッジ内で固まった。これら比較例では、前記加熱貯蔵条件下で触媒活性が充分に抑えられず、耐熱貯蔵安定性が不良であった。
カートリッジに充填した表2に記載の配合物を23℃50%RHの条件下で、1日放置した後、ポリエチレンシート上に塗布し、厚みが3mmになるように伸ばして表面を平滑に整えた時間を硬化開始時間とし、表面をスパチュラで触り、スパチュラに硬化性組成物が付着しなくなった時間を皮張り時間として硬化時間の測定を行った。さらに、カートリッジに充填した配合物を40℃で14日間貯蔵した後、23℃50%RH条件下で1日放置した後に、皮張り時間として硬化時間の測定を行った。結果を表2に示す。
陽極酸化アルミ板、電解着色アルミ板、冷間圧延ステンレス板、冷間圧延鋼板、又は、亜鉛メッキ鋼板の各表面を、エタノールを染み込ませたガーゼで洗浄した。これらの上に表3に記載の配合物をビード状に押し出してミクロスパテュラで軽く押さえて密着させた後に、180℃で30分間の加熱条件で硬化させた。
硬化物を取り出して室温(23℃)に戻した後、硬化物と基材の界面にカミソリ刃を入れ、基材に対して硬化物を90度方向に指で引張り、ハンドピール接着性を確認した。ハンドピール接着性は、引張試験後の破断面を目視にて確認し、凝集破壊(CF)又は界面破壊(AF)を判断した。結果を表3に示す。
プラネタリーミキサーを用いて120℃で2時間減圧乾燥の代わりに、120℃で1時間減圧乾燥を行い、得られた配合物の含水率を測定し、その後、ゼオライト系吸着剤として、モレキュラーシーブ4A(ユニオン昭和株式会社製)4重量部をさらに添加した以外は製造例2と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物7)を得た。

プラネタリーミキサーを用いて120℃で2時間減圧乾燥の代わりに、120℃で1.5時間減圧乾燥を行い、得られた配合物の含水率を測定し、その後、ゼオライト系吸着剤として、モレキュラーシーブ3A(ユニオン昭和株式会社製)10重量部をさらに添加した以外は製造例2と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物10)を得た。
表4に記載の配合物を鋼板上に20mm×5mmのビード状に塗布した後に、160℃で30分間の加熱条件で硬化させた。室温(23℃)に戻した後、硬化物をカッターナイフで切って切断面の硬化状態及び気泡の有無を目視にて確認した。結果を表4に示す。
Irganox245の代わりに、ノクラックCD(大内新興化学工業(株)製)を酸化防止剤として使用し、可塑剤であるアクトコールP-23を使用しなかった以外は、製造例10と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物11)を得た。
トリスアセチルアセトナートアルミニウムの配合量を0.5重量部に変更した以外は、製造例11と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物12)を得た。
重合体(A-1)の代わりに、合成例2で得た重合体(A-2)を使用した以外は、製造例12と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物13)を得た。
重合体(A-1)の代わりに、合成例3で得た重合体(A-3)を使用した以外は、製造例11と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物14)を得た。
重合体(A-1)の代わりに、合成例4で得た重合体(A-4)を使用した以外は、製造例11と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物15)を得た。
表5に記載の配合物を用い、実施例9~12と同じ評価方法で配合物を硬化させた時の硬化状態や気泡の有無を目視にて確認し、さらに配合物を50℃で14日間貯蔵した後の増粘率、及び、配合物中の含水率を測定した。
カーボンブラック(Orion Engineered Carbons製、商品名:HIBLACK 10)の配合量を30重量部に、トリスアセチルアセトナートアルミニウムの配合量を0.5重量部に、アセチルアセトンの配合量を1.5重量部に変更した以外は、製造例11と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物16)を得た。
KBM-402の代わりに、3-グリシドキシプロピルメチルジエトキシシラン(信越化学工業社製、商品名:KBE-402)2重量部をエポキシシランカップリング剤として使用した以外は、製造例16と同様にして1液型加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物(配合物17)を得た。
表6に記載の配合物を用い、それぞれ140℃で30分間、160℃で30分間、180℃で30分間、200℃で30分間の加熱条件で実施例9~12と同じ評価方法で配合物を硬化させた時の硬化状態や気泡の有無を目視にて確認し、さらに配合物中の含水率を測定した。
Claims (15)
- (A)一般式(1)に示す加水分解性シリル基を有するポリオキシアルキレン系重合体、
-Si(R1)3-a(X)a (1)
(式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、炭素原子数1~20の炭化水素基を表し、前記炭化水素基は、ヘテロ含有基を有してもよい。Xは、それぞれ独立に、水酸基または加水分解性基を表す。aは1、2、または3である。)
(B)アルミニウム及び亜鉛からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属元素と、配位子であるキレート化合物とを含む金属化合物、並びに
(C)キレート化合物
を含有する加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。 - 更に(D)エポキシ基を1分子中に少なくとも2個含有するエポキシ化合物を含有する、請求項1に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。
- 更に(T)ゼオライト系吸着剤を含有する、請求項1または2に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。
- 前記加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物の含水率が、100~500ppmである、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。
- キレート化合物(C)が、β-ジカルボニル化合物である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。
- 前記β-ジカルボニル化合物が、β-ジケトン及びβ-ケトエステルからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項5に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。
- 一般式(1)中のaが3である、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。
- エポキシ化合物(D)が、脂環式エポキシ化合物である、請求項2~7のいずれか1項に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。
- 重合体(A)100重量部に対して、金属化合物(B)の含有量が0.1~10重量部であり、キレート化合物(C)の含有量が0.1~10重量部である、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。
- 金属化合物(B)中の前記金属元素のモル数に対する、金属化合物(B)中の前記キレート化合物とキレート化合物(C)の合計モル数の比率が、3を超える、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物。
- 重合体(A)、金属化合物(B)、及び、キレート化合物(C)を混合する工程を含む、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物を製造する方法。
- 請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物を硬化させてなる硬化物。
- 請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物を加熱硬化させる工程を含む、硬化物の製造方法。
- 前記加熱硬化させる工程の前に、前記加熱硬化型の硬化性組成物を密閉下で23℃~50℃で1日~4週間貯蔵する工程をさらに含む、請求項13に記載の硬化物の製造方法。
- 前記加熱硬化させる工程の温度が40~220℃である、請求項13又は14に記載の硬化物の製造方法。
