- the consumable 30 is inserted into the chamber and then, the heating elements 16 pierce a wall of the consumable and are pushed through the substrate of the consumable 30 until they connect. Then, a current 11 can flow through two opposing heating element 16.
- the heating elements 16 pierce through the core of the consumable (e.g. a tobacco stick). Thereby, a substantially uniform heating of the consumable 30 is insured. Further, the heating element can only be actuated, if the heating elements are properly positioned and mal functions can be avoided.

Further, due to the offset 34, the spikes 17 can penetrate deeper into the consumable 30 and even overlap by a distance 33 with regard to a radial direction of the consumable or the aerosol generation device.

Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif de génération d'aérosol (1) doté d'un boîtier (2). Le dispositif de génération d'aérosol comprend une première unité de génération d'aérosol (10) adaptée pour générer le premier type de vapeur à partir d'un substrat solide (32). La première unité de génération d'aérosol comprend en outre une interface de réception (14) pour un produit de consommation (30). L'interface comprend une pluralité d'éléments chauffants (16) dotés de pointes (17) qui sont agencées de telle sorte qu'elles sont insérées dans le produit de consommation quand le produit de consommation est reçu par l'interface. Le boîtier (2) comprend une chambre dans laquelle au moins une partie de l'interface est agencée. Les pointes des éléments chauffants sont agencées en au moins deux réseaux et les réseaux opposés d'éléments chauffants avec des pointes sont configurés pour chauffer une région du produit de consommation entre les réseaux opposés de manière uniforme.
