Abstract

Cette invention concerne une plaque pare-balles comprenant des feuilles de polymère (100) qui sont faites d'un thermoplastique, en particulier un polymère thermoplastique comprenant du polyéthylène à très haute masse moléculaire (PE-UHMW), et présentent une orientation des fibres spécifique et sont revêtues sur la partie supérieure (200) ou la partie inférieure (300) ou les deux parties d'une solution de graphène. Pendant la fabrication, au moins deux feuilles sont empilées et moulées par compression sous l'effet de la chaleur et de la force de compression, puis la plaque pare-balles résultante est refroidie avant l'utilisation.
