- the helical screw blade 604 of the screw conveyor moves the roasted coffee beans through the housing 602 of the cooling vessel 200.
- the helical screw blade 604 acts as an agitator of the coffee beans.
- the speed and direction of the helical screw blade 604 can be controlled and modified as needed.
- the coffee beans generally pass from an entrance to an exit of the housing 602, e.g., they make one“trip” through the cooling vessel 200. In other implementations, the coffee beans make multiple“trips” through the cooling vessel 200.
