Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d'implant médical, par exemple un dispositif orthopédique, comprenant un système de détection passive amélioré. Dans un mode de réalisation, un système d'implant médical peut comprendre un dispositif de fixation osseuse, un capteur couplé au dispositif de fixation osseuse permettant de mesurer de manière passive une force appliquée sur le dispositif de fixation osseuse par une structure osseuse, le capteur comprenant un circuit de résonateur ayant une paire de bobines opposées séparées par une distance et une couche isolante disposée entre les bobines opposées, la distance pouvant changer en réponse à la force, le circuit de résonateur étant capable de générer une fréquence de résonance en réponse à une exposition à un champ radiofréquence (RF), la fréquence de résonance étant modulée sur la base de la distance. Un changement de fréquence de résonance du capteur (bobines de capteur LC) qui se produit à partir d'une charge biomécanique peut être détecté sans fil pour déterminer la progression de la cicatrisation d'une structure osseuse. D'autres modes de réalisation sont également décrits par la présente invention.
