Abstract

The utility model is applicable to cosmetology, in particular, agents for hair growth inhibition. Technical result of the utility model involves cost reduction of the lotion, increased efficiency and improved quality, since its preparation uses natural, organic components.

Description

Lotion for hair growth inhibition
The utility model is applicable to cosmetology, in particular, agents for hair growth inhibition.
Currently, machine cosmetology is used to remove hair. These are lasers, diodes, photo, electrical machines. The operation principle is photon light absorbed by the target molecule (chromophore) which energy is transferred to this molecule. The most important endogenous chromophore is melanin, a dark pigment on the skin, and this is usually melanin, hemoglobin, water and collagen. Melanin is naturally found in the epidermis and hair follicles, hemoglobin in red blood cells, collagen forms the basis of the dermis, water makes up 70% of the dermis. Basal layer of the epidermis includes melanocytes and keratinocytes that contain melanin. Melanin actively absorbs ultraviolet and infrared light, which causes damage to these cells. Consequently, damage to the epidermal cells becomes inevitable when irradiated by the hardware cosmetology machine. There may be multiple consequences: hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation, hyperkeratinization, as well as fibrosis and tissue necrosis.
There are also depilatory creams that remove hair from the outside dissolving hair with alkali and thioglycolic acid. There are also folk methods: decoctions of green walnut shells, green figs ... However, these methods fail since there is no clear dosage and the finished product often causes serious burns.
There is a known agent to treat excess growth (Utility Patent, Georgia GE U 2014 1840 Y, cl. A61K 8/368; A61K 7/155, 25.11.2014) containing baking soda, hydroponic, ethanol, toilet soap, lavender oil and water. Poor effectiveness is the main disadvantage of this agent, which contains mainly chemical compounds that can damage skin areas exposed to treatment with this agent. The agent is used prior mechanical hair removal, which is ineffective for inhibiting hair growth.
There is a cosmetic product (JP 3545057, cl. A61K36/81; A61K8/00; A61K8/97; A61P17/00; A61Q5/00; A61Q7/00; 21.07.2004), which contains Datura herb extract as an active ingredient. Extraction is carried out with water or a hydrophilic organic solvent, such as ethanol, methanol or acetone. It is used in combination with other cosmetic agents, such as liquid oils of squalene or jojoba.
Known cosmetic product is a skin- whitening agent, not intended to inhibit hair growth.
There is an agent for hair toning (JP 10265348, cl. A61K36/81; A61K8/00; A61K8/97; A61P17/00; A61Q5/00; A61Q7/00; 06.10.1998), containing an alcoholic Datura herb extract, sodium oleate, dodecyl benzosulphic acid, castor oil oxide, ion- containing water. The components are mixed resulting in a liquid agent for hair growth.
The tonic agent is intended for prolonging the hair growth phase (anagen), improves hair growth. It is not intended to inhibit hair growth.
There is a composition and its use on the body and face to reduce hairiness (RU 2491914, cl. A61K 8/63; A61K 8/97; A61K 36/185; A61K 36/19; A61K 36/31; A61K 36/48; A61P 17/14; A61Q,7/02; A61Q,9/04, 10.09.2013).
The claimed composition includes at least one aromatase inhibitor selected from the group of chemically synthesized aromatase inhibitors and extracts of soybeans and rapeseed, as well as at least one plant extract. Said extract contains one or more biologically active substances extracted from plants selected from the group including type I and/or type II 5 a- reductase inhibitors and androgen receptor blockers. The invention also applies to the use of the claimed composition for cosmetic use and reduction of hair growth of the body hair or facial hair and/or promote hair growth on the head (scalp).
The disadvantage of the composition is the high cost. It is ineffective, contains chemically synthesized substances that can cause skin irritation in exposed areas.
The technical result of the proposed utility model is to reduce the cost of lotion, increase efficiency and improve its quality, since its preparation uses natural, organic ingredients.
The essence of the utility model: lotion for hair growth inhibition per 100 g of lotion parts by weight g/g contains 97.5 - 98.5 oil extract of Datura herb, and 1.5 - 2.5 g of essential oils of lavender, mint and tea tree.
Datura (Datura stramonium L.) - Solanaceae specie. Contains poisonous alkaloids. Datura is used to obtain drugs for the treatment of bronchial asthma and rheumatic diseases. It has calming and antiseptic property, and treats other respiratory diseases of. It is used as an antispasmodic for gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, liver, colitis, spastic constipation. It is effective for vascular disorders, including bradycardia. Seeds decoction is used to treat (topical) mastopathy, mastitis, lymph nodes inflammation.
Lavender (Nukriani Lavender), means purification in Latin. It is known since ancient Egypt. In medicine, lavender oil is used to treat cough. It reduces bronchial inflammation symptoms. For topical use, for example, relieves pain and irritation after insect bites. Lavender is one of the most common and traditional agents for relaxation. It has analgesic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory action.
Peppermint (Mentha) is a perennial plant. There are many varieties. Menthol in mint leaves has an analgesic, antispasmodic and antiseptic action. Widely used in medicine, perfumery, cosmetology and food industry.
Tea Tree Essential Oil Melaleuca alternifolia is for topical use only. It is used both in cosmetology, and in perfumery. It promotes wounds, burns and irritations healing. Effective for cold sore treatment. It is also used to treat warts and papillomas. In general, tea tree oil is used in a pure form, or it in combination with other oils in equal proportions. It is used to enrich creams, shampoos and other cosmetic products.
Lotion is prepared as follows:
Initially prepare the Datura herb extract. Add 34- 113 g of 75-95% ethanol to 20- 35 g of ground Datura grass, then add 1.4-4.6 g of 10% ammonia alcohol and incubate for 24 hours. Then, add organic solvent in the form of olive oil to resulting mixture at the ratio of 1:3 - 1:10 (100 g). Then, allow the mixture to evaporate alcohols for 7- 12 hours at a temperature below 55°C, constantly stirring. Then, allow solution to stand for another day under cover, to obtain final extraction.
Filter the extract. Add essential oils of lavender, mint and tea tree to the filtered extract in amount of 1.5 - 2.5 g, stir and pour into containers.
The resulting lotion is a dark green oily liquid. To date, three forms of lotion have been tested: basic, concentrated and superconcentrated, which makes it possible to terminate and remove hairs of various qualities. It is possible to manufacture the lotion using the same method, but in different proportions.
There are three stages of hair growth:
Anagen is the period of hair growth. In this stage, the hair follicle cells are intensely divided, the hair grows, and hair shaft expands. The duration of anagen phase is 2-5 years. 60-90% of hair undergo anagen stage at one time.
Catagen is the period of reverse hair root development. In this stage, hair stops growing, as well cell division of the hair bulb, hair papilla atrophy begins, the hair follicle shortens, shrinks, and moves closer to the skin surface. The duration of the catagen stage is about 1 month. 1-2% of hair undergo catagen stage at one time.
Telogen is the resting period for hair follicle. During telogen stage, hair can easily fall off with a slight physical impact. The duration of the telogen stage is about 3 months. 10-40% of hair undergo telogen stage at one time.
The duration of hair growth stages depends on the individual characteristics of the body, external effects, and location of the particular hair follicle.
Hair follicles are most vulnerable to various methods of machine hair removal only at the anagen stage. While the lotion acts during the telogen stage.
Following mechanical hair removal, the lotion penetrates into the hair follicle on the papilla, and alkaloids, as natural inhibitors and catalysts of chemical processes (hyoscyamine and its derivative, racemic atropine) terminate cell division, without engaging in the biochemical process. This process is called inhibition. Lotion enzymes act as catalysts that affect the reaction, but are not part of the reaction products. At the same time, alkaloids, while relaxing the smooth muscles, affect hair lifting muscle, which leads to its weakening and hair cannot come out.
Lotion action is based on the physicochemical process that occurs with hair loss in elderly people: hair becomes thinner, brightens, becomes brittle, the follicle narrows and gradually grows over with epithelium.
