Definitions
- the present invention relates to garments worn on the hips for incontinent persons, including panties and diapers for children and adults, and above all to reusable diapers in the form of collapsible pants.
- the second group is the problems associated with a negative impact on the environment, on the ecology. All these problems are well known due to their relevance and there is no point in dwelling on them in detail here.
- Reusable diapers avoid all of these negative aspects, but they are somewhat more troublesome for caregivers. For all that, reusable diapers are finding an increasing number of supporters, and the improvement of their devices is an urgent and demanded task.
- Reusable diapers perform different functions during use. Note the duality and inconsistency of the tasks they solve. On the one hand, reusable diapers are used as underwear and as such should be
- diapers serve as a collection for faeces and, accordingly, must have a set of specific and variable characteristics, since the nature of the user's life can be very different. First of all, the diaper must have a certain minimum sorption capacity, with the possibility of its significant build-up if necessary.
- a diaper Take, for example, as an infant carrier. He is mainly located lying on his back and the diaper for him must necessarily be comfortable for a recumbent wearer. For example, a diaper should not have hard objects located in the back area that can be annoying, and thick liners with sharp edges along the edges that can stain the skin, etc. are not desirable.
- the diaper can be used both at home and on a summer walk, but it can also be a walk in winter, or it can be when you visit a doctor or go on a visit.
- the actual periods of physiological activity can also be different - the child has just emptied and, first of all, ventilation of the skin is required, or the child is presumably preparing to empty well.
- the basic structure of the diaper should be simple and comfortable enough, and the diaper itself should be light enough, minimally bulky and well ventilated. At the same time, the basic device should be easily expanded with additional accessories to solve urgent problems.
- a reusable diaper must be able to completely restore hygienic properties, and it must be relatively easy to clean.
- a common solution to increase the absorbent capacity of a diaper is to use additional liners.
- the use of liners in reusable diapers is convenient for users because significantly increases the sorption capacity, and also allows you to separate the most severe contaminants and collect them on a simpler design and more easily cleaned detachable outer diaper liner.
- only the soiled liner itself can be replaced with a clean one, without changing the outer diaper, which also saves caregivers' efforts.
- a variety of absorbent materials are used to make diaper absorbent liners.
- Cotton materials such as gauze, muslin, chintz, flannel, etc. are common.
- Various other natural, artificial and synthetic materials can also be used, including materials with special properties such as microfiber and the like.
- An external diaper in the form of panties that opens on the sides is equipped with additional pockets or cavities designed to hold the insert.
- the liner itself is configured in the shape of an outer diaper in which it is placed along the crotch.
- the liner is not attached to the outer diaper, but only held, which is not entirely reliable and not always convenient.
- the liner can slide off during wearing, which can lead to both malfunctioning and inconvenience of wearing.
- the placement of the insert in such a structure may not be very convenient when putting on the diaper.
- the inside of the diaper is additionally equipped with reusable fasteners for attaching the insert, which can be located both in the front and in the back.
- Fasteners can be made in the form of buttons, the counterparts of which are placed inside the diaper and on the insert itself.
- the use of reusable snap fasteners in the front can be justified, because the position of lying or sleeping "on the stomach" is rarely used, and for infants, sleeping on the stomach is generally contraindicated, because the child may suffocate.
- the use of rigid reusable attachment elements, for example, buttons, behind the diaper for attaching the inlay will create perceptible discomfort for the wearer while lying on the back, which is unacceptable.
- the length of the insert is not adjustable, which is often important for the user. For example, a child is growing rapidly and the length of the earmold needs to be increased.
- the previously announced insert is made of a rectangular shape and is equipped with a barrier fabric on the side that does not adjoin the wearer's body.
- the waterproof barrier fabric is permanently attached to the liner from the rear end, and along a line running along the rear edge of the liner, that is, along a line running across the liner.
- the barrier fabric is attached to the liner with reusable fasteners, which also form a transverse straight line.
- the insert is attached to the front of the diaper from the inside with snap fasteners, placed in a line along the front edge of the liner. Accordingly, the front part of the diaper is provided with reciprocal snap fasteners, and the insert can be attached to the rear part of the diaper in different ways. For example, using a cross-over backdrop with
- the aim of this invention is to propose options for the device of panty with fastening elements of the absorbent crotch liner, as well as variants of the device of the liner itself, made in the simplest way, but which at the same time allow you to attach the liner inside the diaper in various ways, depending on the requirements for secure fastening.
- both separate panties without an insert and the resulting assembly of panties with an insert should be aesthetic, comfortable and comfortable, including for use while lying on the back.
- the liner itself, along with sufficient protective characteristics, should have the ability to increase the sorption capacity, make it possible to conveniently and reliably add special elements and, if necessary, change the size. In this case, the entire structure should be teaching due to natural signal feedback. Design options should provide ample room for new designs.
- the reusable pants and reusable crotch liners described herein can provide numerous additional benefits that will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art. Some of these advantages are described in this application.
- panty (1) equipped with internal insert fastening elements, which are made in the form of crossbars (2) and (3), and options for liners for such panties.
- Panties can be either one-piece or detachable on the sides.
- the device of the liner (4) with fastening on the beams is generally a material sagging between the beams or a combination of materials and elements.
- This for example, can be a flattened releasable ring that sags between two crossbars - the back (2) and front (3) panty and closed with a reusable fastener (5) (See Fig. 2A).
- the attachment of the liner to the panty on the crossbar can also be performed not at both ends, but only at the back or only at the front (See Fig. 2B). Accordingly, the opposite end of the liner (4) is secured with a permanent or reusable fastener (6).
- FIG. 3 shows a variant of the panty device (1) in the form of a side-closure reusable diaper.
- An insert (4) with a waterproof barrier fabric (7) is fixed inside the diaper.
- the liner is fastened using crossbars - back (2) and front (3).
- Crossbars are passed between the body of the insert (4) and the barrier fabric (7) and secure the insert to the diaper at the back and front. Behind along the line (8) of permanent attachment of the barrier sheet to the liner (4), and in front along the line passing under the buttons (9), which attach the waterproof sheet (7) to the liner (4) in front.
- a diaper (1) with two bars (2) and (3) without an insert is shown, for example, in FIG. 1 and 4. Attaching the insert to the diaper from the back in the form of a soft bar allows comfortable use of the diaper without the insert when the wearer is lying on his back.
- the length of the crossbars for attaching the liner to the front and back can be either the same or different. So, for example, for a rectangular liner, the crossbars are made of the same length, and for a liner, for example, in the form of a trapezoid, they are different, each in accordance with the width of the fixed end of the liner or the fastened element of the liner.
- the insert can be held on the diaper with crossbars in different ways and with different reliability.
- the insert can simply be tucked under the crossbar, without forming a closed loop on the crossbar.
- Such fastening is less reliable, and only keeps the liner from shifting sideways, but it is simpler and faster. For example, it may be sufficient when installing a diaper with an insert for an inactive infant lying on its back. With the development of the child, it will be possible to move on to a more reliable fastening, with the formation of a loop on the crossbar by the liner.
- a panty belt of this design may be provided with elastic elements.
- the belt can be made higher than usual.
- a higher belt, within which the crossbar and an insert fixed to the crossbar are located, will additionally fix the structure insert.
- the diaper belt can be additionally provided with an elastic element (10) located under the crossbar (2).
- This elastic insert compresses the relaxed belt by 10-20%.
- the crossbar sags at the same time.
- the elastic section is stretched, choosing the slack of the bar, until it is fully tensioned.
- the liner is securely fixed - the diaper belt presses the liner to the wearer's body, and the liner material is pinched between the stretched bar and the diaper belt (See Fig. 5).
- the rungs can be provided with elastic elements to further clamp the liner material located between the beam, the diaper and the wearer's body.
- the crossbar can be made of various materials, depending on the specifics of the task.
- the bar can be fabric, nonwoven fabric, metal, plastic, or composite materials. If we are talking about the case of underwear for newborns, then the crossbar, especially the back, is made of soft material. It can be made, for example, from natural fabric or braid. For example, you can take cotton tape from 10mm to 25mm wide. However, this framework is not strict, as understood by a person skilled in the art.
- the bars themselves can be fixed on the panties either permanently or with the possibility of detaching from one or both ends.
- the design of the liner may not necessarily be annular, but may contain at the ends of the liner, for example, loops, grooves or loops for attaching the liner to the diaper by passing the detached ends of the bar through these elements of the liner and then fastening to the diaper.
- At least one crossbar can be made removable, and it can be attached to the diaper from the outside.
- Such a diaper has
- the advantage is that it does not contain any special attachments for the liner in the internal space. Accordingly, it is very comfortable to use without an insert.
- underpants (11) are made with holes (12) in the belt area for passing out the fixed ends (13) of the crossbar, which are then attached to special elements located outside the underpants.
- Loops (14), hinges, buttons and other reusable fasteners can serve as elements. Accordingly, if necessary, the ends of the crossbeams are equipped with mating fastening elements. Alternatively, it can be loops (14) placed on the belt, for which the crossbar is either simply tied to a knot, or, for example, attached to a loop (15) formed by a pair of closure buttons (16) placed at the end of the crossbar.
- the holes (12) in the belt area can be made in various designs, for example, in the form of loops, in the form of eyelets.
- the holes can be decorated with valves, linings, loops, etc.
- the liner is foldable and adjustable in length as an assembly (See FIG. 6).
- the liner is made in the form of an elongated strip of absorbent material
- L0 2L1 + AL, where L0 is the length of the expanded insert
- AL is the length of the folded back part.
- the length of the finished liner assembly can be variable and determined by the formula:
- the length AL of the folded end (21) of the liner must be less than the minimum length of the liner L1 in order to fit between its outer layers in one inner layer.
- Such an insert is fastened in the inner space of the inventive diaper, for example (see Fig. 7), by passing its elongated absorbent fabric (17) under the diaper crossbars - first in front, under the front crossbar (3) of the diaper, and then, along the way, under the back diaper bar (2). After the crossbar (20) of the inlay reaches the front crossbar (3) of the diaper, the ring of the insert is closed by folding the insert by bending behind the line of the back crossbar (2) of the diaper, and then pushing its excess end
- the liner (4) can be made with an internal cavity
- An insert with such a cavity can be made, for example, they take an insert material having a width equal to twice the insert width, fold it in half, and then perform two stitches across the insert at a distance from each other equal to the length of the internal cavity of the insert. In this case, the fold line of the material forms the bottom of the cavity, and the transverse piercings form the bridges of the cavity.
- Internal cavities can be formed along the entire length of the elongated absorbent strip, that is, along the entire length of the unfolded liner. Liners of this design can be produced, for example, on a continuous line, from long material. Take
- the liner (4) is provided with a barrier fabric (7), permanently attached at the back and non-permanently at the front (See Figs. 3 and 9).
- the barrier fabric is located on the side not adjacent to the wearer's body and is intended to prevent leakage through the surface of the liner into the outer diaper.
- the spread of liquid outside the wetted liner is permissible along the edges, which achieves a training effect and prevents contamination of things outside the diaper.
- the learning effect arises due to the user receiving signal feedback on the event of an uncontrolled
- the barrier fabric detachable on one side is convenient for cleaning and restoring the hygiene standards of the liner.
- the liner with unbuttoned and bent waterproof fabric is easy to wash, wash, dry and iron with an iron.
- Such a liner can be securely fixed (see Fig. 9) by means of diaper bars (2) and (3) passed between the barrier sheet (7) and the main material of the liner (4).
- the barrier sheet (7) in unfastened form is passed under the diaper bars.
- the barrier web (7) is passed under the rear bar (2) and then under the front bar (3), after which the barrier web (7) is attached from the front to the liner (4).
- Fastening is carried out using reusable fasteners (23) of the barrier fabric to the counter fasteners (24) of the liner.
- the crossbar bends downward in an arc to one degree or another, in the attachment areas the crushed materials of the liner or barrier fabric can be crumpled and displaced from the optimal position. This applies, first of all, to the barrier fabric as a softer and lighter component of the ring. To prevent this, in the attachment area, the soft material can be reinforced with an additional layer (25) of shape-supporting material.
- the barrier fabric may be trough-shaped.
- the fabric is cut into a barrel shape with curved longitudinal sides, which are then pulled together with an elastic pad to obtain a rectangle.
- the curved edges of the fabric are sewn with an elastic thread.
- a trough-shaped depression is obtained by tightening the excess width of the barrier tissue.
- the liner with a barrier fabric can be made in the shape of an equilateral trapezoid or in a shaped shape that resembles an equilateral trapezoid (See Fig. 10).
- the rear end of the liner (a) is made as a wide base of the trapezoid, and the front end (b) of the liner is made as the narrow side of the trapezoid. This form can be
- the back rail of the diaper for attaching such an insert should have a sufficient length, approximately equal to the wide rear side of the insert.
- the insert in the form of a trapezoid can be additionally equipped with at least one longitudinal rectangular pocket (26) in the middle of the trapezoid (See Fig. 11).
- the pocket can be made both from the side of the insert, closed by the barrier sheet, and from the side of the wearer. It is possible to make a pocket using the same techniques as for the above-described options for a rectangular insert (see Fig. 7), made with an internal cavity (22) like a cap.
