- the dispensing line 1 is being guided through the dispense head, and the sealing part 7 of the gasket 5 is folded so that it projects downwards from the inlet end during guiding, whereby the second diameter of the sealing part 7 is reduced, enabling the gasket to be guided through the hollow piston.
- the sealing part 7 unfolds upwards as shown by the arrows so that the sealing part may abut the second end 24 of the piston 22.
- the dispensing line 1 may comprise a second ring-shaped positioning part 33 which is arranged outside the dispensing line 1 at a predetermined distance downstream from the gasket 5 as shown in Fig . 16.
- the positioning part is placed inside the piston 22 when the gasket 5 has been guided through the piston and past the second end 24, when the sealing part 7 of the gasket 5 is abutting the second end 24, whereby the gasket is centralised in relation to the piston, so that projection of the sealing part 7 from the outer face 34 of the piston 22 is avoided.
- the positioning part 33 is tapering in a direction towards the gasket 5 to facilitate the introduction into the piston and to provide room for the sealing part 7 when it folds upwards during the guidance in the piston 22.
- the positioning part 33 is arranged close to the gasket, because consequently the predetermined distance may be less than 5 mm.
- the positioning part 33 and the gasket 5 are connected to provide one element.
- Fig. 18 shows another embodiment of a gasket 5 wherein the gasket has a truncated cone-shape.

- the cutting tool 35 may be activated automatically by the movement of the handle of the dispense head .
- the piston may be displaced by other means than the handle, for instance by means of pneumatics or the like.
- a pinching tool 37 is arranged in connection with the cutting tool 35, the pinching tool 37 being configured to pinch the dispensing line before the cutting tool cuts the dispensing line in the pinched section of the dispensing line as shown in Fig. 20. Flereby, it is obtained that the dispensing line 1 will be substantially closed in the area being cut so that spill of beverage from the cut dispensing line is minimised .
- a stretching tool may be arranged in connection with the cutting tool, the stretching tool being configured to stretch the dispensing line before the cutting tool cuts the dispensing line in the stretched section of the dispensing line.
- the cutting tool 35 and the pinching tool 37 are arranged in an external element 38 connected with the dispense head 20, and the dispensing line is guided through the external element.
- the external element By the embodiment shown in Fig . 21, it is possible to incorporate the external element into existing dispense heads as a retro-fit.
