Abstract

The present invention relates to a cooking device (1) comprising a body (2); a cooking cavity (3) which is arranged in the body (2) and wherein the cooking process is performed; at least one heater (4) which provides the heating of the cooking cavity (3) and the cooking of the foodstuffs in the cooking cavity (3); and at least one fan (5) which is disposed in the vicinity of the heater (4) and which enables the hot air to be dispersed into the cooking cavity (3), the cooking device further comprising a control unit (6) which enables the rotational direction and speed of the fan (5) to be periodically changed in a time period of t predetermined by the producer during the operation of the heater (4).

Description

A COOKING DEVICE FOR HOMOGENEOUS COOKING
The present invention relates to a cooking device which provides homogeneous cooking.
Foodstuffs are cooked by means of the heaters in the cooking device. Direct contact between the foodstuff and the heater causes the foodstuff surface to be cooked more quickly and the center of the foodstuff to be undercooked while the foodstuff surface is overcooked. Fans are used to disperse the air heated by the heater. The hot air is dispersed into the cooking cavity by means of the heaters. Thus, the foodstuff is prevented from being directly subjected to the hot air emanating from the heater. The hot air is homogeneously dispersed by means of the fans and the foodstuff is enabled to be cooked homogeneously. Due to being in continuous movement, the fans are covered for safety purposes. The air flow is provided through certain openings. The continuous delivery of air onto the foodstuff by the fans through the same opening causes the continuous delivery of air onto the same region of the foodstuff. This may cause only a part of foodstuff to be cooked or the foodstuff to get dry.
In the state of the art European Patent Document No. EP2679914, a cooking device is disclosed, wherein homogeneous cooking is provided by changing the rotational direction of the fan in a certain time period.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooking device with increased cooking performance.
The cooking device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a body; a cooking cavity wherein the cooking process is performed; a heater which is provided in the cooking cavity and which provides the heating of the foodstuffs; and a fan which enables the heated air to be dispersed into the cooking cavity. The foodstuffs are cooked with the operation of the heater. The fan is used for preventing the foodstuff from being directly subjected to heat. By means of the fan, the hot air is dispersed over the foodstuff. Thus, the foodstuff is enabled to be homogeneously cooked.
The cooking device of the present invention comprises a control unit which enables the rotational direction and speed of the fan to be periodically changed during the operation of the heater. By periodically changing the fan speed and rotational direction, hot air from different regions is delivered onto the foodstuff, thus providing a homogeneous cooking process.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises the control unit which enables the fan to accelerate in a time period of t1 predetermined by the producer, to reach the highest speed at the end of t1, to slow down during t2 and to stop at the end of t2. The t1 and t2 are predefined in the control unit by the producer. The speed and rotational direction of the fan are periodically and respectively changed during the t1 and t2. The fan accelerates and reaches the highest speed in a certain time period. Upon reaching the highest speed defined in the control unit by the producer, the fan slows down and stops.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises the control unit which enables the fan, which stops at the end of t2, to rotate in a direction opposite to the direction during the t1. The fan rotates in the opposite direction and once again reaches the highest speed at the end of t3.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises the control unit wherein the t1, t2 and t3, which are equal to each other, are defined. By means of the t1, t2 and t3 which are equal to each other, the fan is enabled to accelerate, slow down, accelerate in the opposite direction and slow down in the opposite direction in the same time period. Thus, the direction and amount of air delivered change in each t. The foodstuff is enabled to be homogeneously cooked.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises the heater which is disposed around the fan. By means of the circular form of the heater, each region thereof is at the same distance from the fan. Thus, the same amount of hot air is enabled to be delivered from each region of the fan.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises a protector plate whereon the fan and the heater are placed, and a plurality of openings which are arranged on the protector plate. By means of the openings, the hot air generated by the fan is delivered into the cooking cavity.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises the control unit which enables the speed and rotational direction of the fan to be changed in a time period of t determined by the user. The user can select the time period of t depending on the cooking level.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises a control panel which enables the user to select the period of t. The user can select the cooking level via the control panel and thus the time period of t corresponding to the cooking level is determined in the control unit.
By means of the present invention, a cooking device providing a homogeneous cooking process is realized by changing the rotational direction and speed of the fan.
The cooking device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:

The cooking device (1) comprises a body (2); a cooking cavity (3) which is arranged in the body (2) and wherein the cooking process is performed; at least one heater (4) which provides the heating of the cooking cavity (3) and the cooking of the foodstuffs in the cooking cavity (3); and at least one fan (5) which is disposed in the vicinity of the heater (4) and which enables the hot air to be dispersed into the cooking cavity (3). The cooking cavity (3) is heated by means of the heater (4). The hot air emanated by the heater (4) is dispersed into the cooking cavity (3) by means of the fan (5). Thus, the same of hot air is delivered onto every region of the foodstuff, providing a homogeneous cooking process.
The cooking device (1) of the present invention comprises a control unit (6) which enables the rotational direction and speed of the fan (5) to be periodically changed in a time period of t predetermined by the producer during the operation of the heater (4). By means of the control unit (6), the speed and rotational direction of the fan (5) are controlled. The speed and rotational direction of the fan (5) are enabled to be periodically changed in a time period of t predefined in the control unit (6) by the producer. Consequently, a homogeneous cooking process is performed.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises the control unit (6) which enables the fan (5) to accelerate in a time period of t1 predetermined by the producer, to reach the highest speed (wmax) determined by the producer at the end of t1, to slow down during t2 and to stop at the end of t2. The speed of the fan (5) increases during the t1 and reaches the highest speed (wmax) defined in the control unit (6) by the producer at the end of t1. The fan (5) slows down during the t2 and stops at the end of t2. Thus, the air flow during the cooking process is regulated.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises the control unit (6) which enables the fan (5), which stops at the end of t2, to rotate in a direction opposite to the direction during the t1 and to reach the highest speed (wmax) at the end of t3. The fan (5), which stops at the end of t2, accelerates during the t3 and rotates in a direction opposite to the direction during the t1. Thus, the air is delivered to different regions in different directions.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises the control unit (6) having the t1, t2 and t3 which are equal to each other. The time periods of t1, t2 and t3 continue periodically one after another. By means of the t1, t2 and t3 which are equal to each other, the same amount of hot air is delivered by the fan (5) during said time periods. Consequently, a homogeneous cooking process is performed.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises the circular heater (4) which is disposed around the fan (5). The heater (4) is circular. The fan (5) is disposed at the center of the heater (4). Thus, the hot air emanated by the heater (4) is delivered with more efficiency.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises a protector plate (7) whereon the fan (5) and the heater (4) are placed, and a plurality of openings (8) which are arranged on the protector plate (7) and which enable the hot air to be dispersed into the cooking cavity (3). The fan (5) and the heater (4) are disposed on the protector plate (7). By means of the openings (8) provided on the protector plate (7), the hot air is delivered into the cooking cavity (3).
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises a control panel (9) which enables the user to select the cooking level, and the control unit (6) which controls the time period of t depending on the cooking level selected by the user. The user can select the cooking level by means of the control panel (9). The rotational direction and speed of the fan (5) are changed during the time period of t determined by the control unit (6) depending on the cooking level.
By means of the present invention, a cooking device (1) providing a homogeneous cooking process is realized by controlling the rotational direction and speed of the fan (5). The fan (5) accelerates, slows down and changes direction in the predetermined time periods of t. Thus, the same of amount of hot air is delivered to every region of the cooking cavity (3).

Claims (7)

  1. A cooking device (1) comprising a body (2); a cooking cavity (3) which is arranged in the body (2) and wherein the cooking process is performed; at least one heater (4) which provides the heating of the cooking cavity (3) and the cooking of the foodstuffs in the cooking cavity (3); and at least one fan (5) which is disposed in the vicinity of the heater (4) and which enables the hot air to be dispersed into the cooking cavity (3), characterized by a control unit (6) which enables the rotational direction and speed of the fan (5) to be periodically changed in a time period of t predetermined by the producer during the operation of the heater (4).
  2. A cooking device (1) as in Claim 1, characterized by the control unit (6) which, during the cooking process, enables the fan (5) to accelerate in a time period of t1 predetermined by the producer, to reach the highest speed (wmax) determined by the producer at the end of t1, to slow down during t2 and to stop at the end of t2.
  3. A cooking device (1) as in Claim 2, characterized by the control unit (6) which enables the fan (5), which stops at the end of t2, to rotate in a direction opposite to the direction during the t1 and to reach the highest speed (wmax) at the end of t3.
  4. A cooking device (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by the control units (6) having the t1, t2 and t3 which are equal to each other.
  5. A cooking device (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by the circular heater (4) which is disposed around the fan (5).
  6. A cooking device (1) comprises as in any one of the above claims, characterized by a protector plate (7) whereon the fan (5) and the heater (4) are placed, and a plurality of openings (8) which are arranged on the protector plate (7) and which enable the hot air to be dispersed into the cooking cavity (3).
  7. A cooking device (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by a control panel (9) which enables the user to select the cooking level, and the control unit (6) which controls the time period of t depending on the cooking level selected by the user.
