Abstract
L'invention concerne un poêle à bois doté d'une chambre de combustion verticale (4) et permettant une combustion plus complète du bois au moyen d'un procédé de combustion de haut en bas à l'aide d'un système intégré de conduits en tôle (3), permettant un préchauffage et une distribution d'air supplémentaire à travers des trous afin d'effectuer une combustion secondaire dans la partie supérieure de la chambre de combustion, ce qui contribue à une combustion plus complète du bois. Ce faisant, l'émission de gaz nocifs (monoxyde de carbone CO et hydrocarbures non brûlés CxHy), suie et particules fines dans les gaz de combustion est réduite. Un séparateur de particules fines, comprenant un cyclone gravitationnel centrifuge (22) et un filtre électrostatique (23), contribuant à la réduction des émissions de particules fines dans les gaz de combustion, est ajouté à un tuyau de fumée de sortie (19). Un échangeur de chaleur supplémentaire (25) chauffe de l'air extérieur frais, ce qui permet d'obtenir une efficacité thermique supplémentaire des gaz de combustion ainsi qu'une ventilation naturelle de l'espace par l'air extérieur, lequel est chauffé sans besoin d'un ventilateur. Un agitateur en spiral (27) intégré dans un tuyau de fumée (26), et des déflecteurs en serpentin (30) intégrés dans un tube à air (29), augmentent le transfert de chaleur à l'air extérieur apporté, augmentant ainsi l'efficacité thermique. Le séparateur de particules fines (22 et 23) et l'échangeur de chaleur (25) peuvent être également situés dans un espace adjacent au moyen d'un tuyau intermédiaire court à travers une cloison de séparation.
