- DCI Downlink Control Information
- the granularity of the timing for controlling the beam for PUCCH by MAC CE is coarser than the granularity of the timing for controlling PUCCH resources by DCI. In other words, it is difficult to specify one beam for one PUCCH resource to be determined dynamically by MAC CE.
- the processing time of UL beam control for PUCCH based on MAC CE is x slots, and the processing time of HARQ-ACK is y slots.
- space information MAC CE becomes valid after slot n + x, and HARQ-ACK on the PUCCH is transmitted in slot n + y.
- x and y are not necessarily equal.
- the UE may fail to decode the spatial information MAC CE even though it receives DCI scheduling PDSCH carrying the spatial information MAC CE.
- the timing at which the spatial information MAC CE is applied is after the PDSCH including the MAC CE is retransmitted and successfully received / decoded. Do. That is, there may be cases where the timing at which HARQ-ACK is applied (feedback timing) and the timing at which space information MAC CE becomes valid (valid timing or timing at which space information MAC CE is applied (application timing)) do not match. is there.
- the HARQ-ACK feedback timing (slot n + 2) is earlier than the spatial information MAC CE valid timing (slot n + 8). become.
- the radio base station can not anticipate that the transmit beam will be feasible in slot n + 8 if the spatial information MAC CE is transmitted in slot n.
- the present inventors examined control of HARQ-ACK transmission to which spatial information MAC CE can be applied, and came to the present invention.
- PUCCH resource sets may be configured by higher layers (eg, RRC signaling).
- Each PUCCH resource set includes a plurality of PUCCH resources.
- the UE determines one PUCCH resource set from among a plurality of PUCCH resource sets based on the UCI payload.
- the UE determines one PUCCH resource based on the PUCCH resource indication from among the determined PUCCH resource sets.
- the PUCCH resource indication may be a DCI indication (a specific field in the DCI), a specific parameter (implicit indication), or a combination thereof.
- the specific parameter is at least one of a control channel element (CCE) index, a specific physical resource block (PRB) index of a scheduled PDSCH, a UE-ID, and a cell-radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI). Good.
- the UE may determine PUCCH resources based on the type of UCI. For example, if the UCI is only CSI (Channel State Information), the UE may determine one PUCCH resource for CSI configured by the upper layer. For example, when the UCI is HARQ-ACK, the UE determines PUCCH resource set according to the number of bits of HARQ-ACK from a plurality of PUCCH resource sets for HARQ-ACK set by the upper layer, and HARQ The PUCCH resource may be determined by the specific field of DCI that schedules PDSCH corresponding to ACK.

- the UE transmits to the PUCCH that transmits the HARQ-ACK according to whether the HARQ-ACK feedback for the PDSCH carrying the spatial information MAC CE is before, equal to, or after the valid timing of the spatial information MAC CE. Control of space related information to be applied may be performed.
- the radio base station may indicate the HARQ-ACK resource (for example, HARQ-ACK timing indication information) for the PDSCH by DCI scheduling the PDSCH including the spatial information MAC CE.
- the feedback timing of HARQ-ACK specified by this DCI may be after the effective timing of the space information MAC CE.

- the UE transmits HARQ-ACK by PUCCH to which the entry instructed in the spatial information MAC CE is applied.
- any one of the following options 1-1 and 1-2 may be applied.
- ⁇ Option 1-1 The UE uses not the entry indicated in the space information MAC CE included in the PDSCH corresponding to the HARQ-ACK, but the entry indicated in the space information MAC CE last effective before the HARQ-ACK transmission.
- the HARQ-ACK may be transmitted by the PUCCH.
- another entry for example, beam
- the UE may send the HARQ-ACK over PUCCH using preset or defined default spatial association information.
- another entry for example, beam

- the UE may determine the HARQ-ACK feedback timing for the PDSCH according to whether the PDSCH carries (includes) spatial information MAC CE.
- the feedback timing of HARQ-ACK may be after a predetermined time from the PDSCH. For example, if the predetermined time is 4 slots, the UE may transmit an HARQ-ACK corresponding to the PDSCH in slot n + 4, when receiving a PDSCH not including the space information MAC CE in slot n.
- the predetermined time may be determined based on information included in DCI for scheduling the PDSCH including the spatial information MAC CE.
- the feedback timing of HARQ-ACK may be equal to the effective timing of the space information MAC CE.
- the UE transmits HARQ-ACK corresponding to the PDSCH in slot n + 8. It is also good.
- the UE may transmit HARQ-ACK at least at the effective timing of the space information MAC CE.
- the HARQ-ACK may be sent.
- HARQ-ACK can be prepared after a predetermined time from the PDSCH (for example, after a predetermined time determined based on information included in DCI that schedules the PDSCH including the spatial information MAC CE). In the case where there is, it is possible to omit the control to cancel (cancel) this, and it is possible to avoid the complication of the terminal processing.
- the UE can control the feedback timing of the HARQ-ACK for the PDSCH based on the content of the PDSCH.
- the effective timing of the space information MAC CE can be prioritized over the feedback timing of HARQ-ACK. Therefore, spatial information MAC CE can be reliably applied to HARQ-ACK for PDSCH including spatial information MAC CE. Also, for PDSCHs that do not include space information MAC CE, delay can be reduced by making the feedback timing earlier than PDSCHs that include space information MAC CE.
- this aspect is effective for the case where DCI scheduling PDSCH does not include HARQ-ACK timing indication information.
- This case may be, for example, a case where DCI is fallback DCI or compact DCI, or may be a case during initial access.
- the UE uses preset spatial information. PUCCH may be sent. In this case, the space information is not changed by the MAC CE.
- the preset spatial information may be an entry, PUCCH spatial related information IE, or a beam.
- Predefined spatial information may be fixed according to the specification or may be configured (semi-statically) by an upper layer (eg, RRC signaling).
- Space information MAC CE indicating space information for PUCCH resources will be described.
- the space information may indicate an entry of PUCCH space related information, and may be, for example, an entry index.
- the configuration of the space information MAC CE may be any of the following configurations 1, 2, and 3.
- Spatial information for one PUCCH resource may be indicated by MAC CE.
- the PUCCH resources may be indicated by the radio base station for HARQ-ACK for PDSCH including spatial information MAC CE.
- the PUCCH resource may be indicated by DCI and / or other parameters that schedule the PDSCH.
- the PUCCH resource may indicate HARQ-ACK timing and / or resources.

- the UE may be aware of which PUCCH resource set the spatial information MAC CE indicates spatial information for by means of the HARQ-ACK or UCI payload.
- the UE may recognize, via the header field of the spatial information MAC CE, which PUCCH resource the spatial information MAC CE indicates spatial information for.
- the spatial information MAC CE may include an indication field for specifying an entry corresponding to each PUCCH resource.
- One of the available at least one PUCCH resource may be indicated by DCI and / or other parameters scheduling PDSCH including spatial information MAC CE.
- the available at least one PUCCH resource may belong to at least one PUCCH resource set available for HARQ-ACK for PDSCH including spatial information MAC CE.

For example, when four PUCCH resource sets are configured by the upper layer in the UE and each PUCCH resource set includes eight PUCCH resources, the spatial information MAC CE specifies an entry corresponding to each of the 32 PUCCH resources Do.
- the spatial information MAC CE may include an indication field for specifying an entry corresponding to each PUCCH resource.
- One of the available at least one PUCCH resource may be indicated by DCI and / or other parameters scheduling PDSCH including spatial information MAC CE.

Abstract
