This is entirely up to them as they would know ⁇ the best times to target demographics of callers, personalizing it according to the caller's interests.
- advertisements may be played according to the caller’s proximity to various services and businesses within a certain location. These may or may not take precedence over the advertisements played as opposed to those advertising from a different state, i.e. a caller receiving advertisements by a company situated in 'Pahang’ while walking around‘KLCC park’.
- the system (102) advantageously serves to reduce the subscription pricing of sendees provided albeit subscription to caller ringtones would be forfeited.
- the caller ringtones services would be rendered obsolete, if and only if subscribers choose to opt out of it. This would greatly reduce callers’ monthly expenditure, as well as exposing them to great deals or subsisting promotions for items that they require within the area.
- the functionalities can also be translated on an app which will incorporate more advertising features, it’s included as part of the package - the Telco and gadget package.
- the system would then know where they are and push out localized adverts which are relevant to that location.
- the present invention leads to targeted advertisements that are based on psychographic segmentation [i.e. surfing habits] to push ads that are more relevant to specific consumers.
- system and method of the present invention collaborates with digital platforms ⁇ e- hailing apps, e-commerce apps, or other additional platforms like cloud, or Ai applications), connecting their services and reward systems, to the advertising feature - i.e. more reward tokens in AHExpress, special discount codes for system users in Lazada, Happy Fresh, etc).

subscriber/ user is interested, the advertisement is relayed further. Otherwise, the method concludes. Then the subscriber is connected with the advertiser. For example, if subscriber wants physical directions to an advertiser, he/she may be guided to the address of the advertiser using Google maps, highlighting the best routes to nearest/selected location.
The ring back tone advertising system (102) and the method (400) performed by the ring back tone advertising system (102) advantageously provides replacing ring back tones with advertisements, while the caller is trying to reach the receiver. Further, like‘Facebook’ and‘Google' advertisements, these advertisements are tuned to the demographics of the caller, in an embodiment, the demographics may be determined by the telecommunication companies, using existing databases, to obtain information such as age, gender and all other data. Further, if calls are put on hold, advertisements may be played regardless of whether it's the caller or receiver.
Further, the system (102) provides benefit to the advertisers by having more options or channels to propagate non-personal, openly sponsored messages for their services and products. Unlike the TV, radio, print or even online advertisements, users involuntarily listen to these advertisements while waiting for the call to be received.
Further, the ring back tone advertising system (102) provides reducing the competition for air-time, and more avenues for the telecom companies to maximize reach. Because demographics are unique to each caller, only advertisements that are relevant would be played. Timing, length, frequency and broadcast patterns may be dependent on scheduling of advertisements on the advertisers and telecoms' side.
F urther, the telecommunication companies are further able to monetize the advertisements by working with advertisers, offering advertisements slots with higher rates to be played in the first‘10’ to‘15’ seconds of a call and at a certain time like business hours. This is entirely up to them as they would know· the best times to target demographics of callers, personalizing it according to the caller's interests.
Further, advertisers may also be charged by the frequency of playbacks of their
advertisement. Also, by utilizing the phone’s GPS, advertisements may be played according to the caller’s proximity to various services and businesses within a certain location. These may or may not take precedence over the advertisements played as opposed to those advertising from a different state, i.e. a caller receiving advertisements by a company situated in 'Pahang’ while walking around‘KLCC park’.
Further, the system (102) advantageously serves to reduce the subscription pricing of sendees provided albeit subscription to caller ringtones would be forfeited. The caller ringtones services would be rendered obsolete, if and only if subscribers choose to opt out of it. This would greatly reduce callers’ monthly expenditure, as well as exposing them to great deals or subsisting promotions for items that they require within the area. There would also be a function to allow subscribers to access the advertisers directly once the call has ended. This provides a win-win situation for all parties including advertisers, telecoms and subscribers.
In an advantageous aspect, as added value to the customers, there will be a milestone gift --· voucher, promo, cashback - for every 5; 10; 25; 50; 100 ads viewed. Further, the functionalities can also be translated on an app which will incorporate more advertising features, it’s included as part of the package - the Telco and gadget package. The system would then know where they are and push out localized adverts which are relevant to that location. The present invention leads to targeted advertisements that are based on psychographic segmentation [i.e. surfing habits] to push ads that are more relevant to specific consumers.
In an exemplary embodiment, the system and method of the present invention collaborates with digital platforms {e- hailing apps, e-commerce apps, or other additional platforms like cloud, or Ai applications), connecting their services and reward systems, to the advertising feature - i.e. more reward tokens in AHExpress, special discount codes for system users in Lazada, Happy Fresh, etc).
FIG. 5a shows flow diagram 500a depicting entire process of .subscription to personalized advertisement according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to Fig. 5b, a flow diagram 500b depicting the options of collaboration with telecom companies for integration with the AI based system is shown.
