It also describes its operating system.

[002] Em síntese, os resíduos sólidos urbanos são originados nas cidades e conglomerados urbanos, resultantes da atividade humana em domicílios, em estabelecimentos comerciais, na limpeza pública e no setor de serviços, entre outros. Ainda, nestes resíduos é comum a presença de matéria orgânica, que entra em degradação muito rapidamente, gerando desconfortos, como mau cheiro, atração de vetores e contaminação ambiental pela liberação de lixiviados.  [002] In summary, solid urban waste originates in cities and urban conglomerates, resulting from human activity in households, in commercial establishments, in public cleaning and in the services sector, among others. [003] Frente a esses fatores, a forma de coleta e destinação dos resíduos representa uma grande preocupação para a sociedade atual. No Brasil, a maior parte da coleta de resíduos sólidos urbanos, seja ela seletiva ou não, é realizada de maneira manual. Normalmente, um caminhão com caçamba compactadora percorre as vias públicas e operadores realizam a coleta manual dos resíduos. Neste sistema de coleta existem dois grandes problemas: os operadores que realizam a coleta, ainda que utilizando equipamentos de proteção individual, entram em contato direto com os resíduos; e os resíduos não possuem um local específico adequado para seu armazenamento temporário, até que a coleta definitiva seja realizada, sendo muitas vezes depositados sobre a própria rua ou calçada.  [003] Faced with these factors, the way waste collection and disposal is a major concern for today's society. [004] Alternativamente, existe a coleta automatizada de resíduos realizada em contêineres de superfície, tal como a revelada no documento EP 2530033. Neste caso, um contêiner com tampa de acesso é posicionado sobre o solo, tal como em ruas ou calçadas, servindo de armazenamento temporário para os resíduos, até que a coleta definitiva seja realizada, com auxílio de um caminhão compactador com braços automatizados. Para a coleta definitiva, os braços automatizados são acoplados no contêiner, elevando-o e realizando seu basculamento, até a queda dos resíduos no interior do caminhão. Apesar de esse sistema eliminar os inconvenientes da coleta manual, como descrita anteriormente, outros inconvenientes estão presentes. Mais particularmente, o interior do contêiner é de livre acesso, sendo muitas vezes acessado indevidamente por catadores não regulamentados, que frequentemente espalham resíduos sobre a calçada ou rua nas proximidades do contêiner. Além disso, a construtividade dos braços automatizados em cooperação com o caminhão de coleta é de alta complexidade e de custos elevados. Ainda, a operação de posicionamento dos braços automatizados no contêiner, elevação, basculamento, reposicionamento do contêiner no solo e recolhimento dos braços automatizados junto ao caminhão é demorada, muitas vezes atravancando o trânsito de veículos na via onde se realiza a coleta. [005] Outra alternativa presente no estado da técnica é a coleta automatizada de resíduos realizada em contêineres subterrâneos, tal como a revelada em US 20080203097, e disponibilizada comercialmente sob a nomenclatura "Sidetainer" pela empresa TNL - Sociedade de Equipamentos Ecológicos e Sistemas Ambientais Lda. Neste caso, ao menos um contêiner encontra-se posicionado de forma subterrânea, internamente a um poço de concreto, e sobre uma plataforma de elevação. A superfície superior do poço é coberta por uma tampa basculante dotada de ao menos uma caixa de depósito em comunicação com o respectivo contêiner subterrâneo. Os resíduos são depositados na caixa de depósito e caem dentro do contêiner subterrâneo para armazenamento temporário. Para coleta definitiva, um operador aciona a elevação da plataforma de elevação, movimentada por cilindros hidráulicos, até que a mesma esteja alinhada com a superfície superior do poço. A elevação da plataforma desencadeia concomitantemente o basculamento de abertura da tampa de cobertura do poço. [007] No Brasil, o pedido de patente depositado junto ao INPI, sob o número BR102013015442-3, denominado de Coletor de Resíduos Sólidos, descreve um coletor, também para ser alocado em posições adjacentes a ruas, estradas ou avenidas, compreendendo ao menos uma torre de elevação dotada de ao menos uma porta de entrada de resíduos, e em comunicação com ao menos um compartimento de depósito elevado; um conjunto de elevação apto a transportar resíduos da torre de elevação até o compartimento de depósito elevado; e um conjunto de descarga apto a realizar a descarga dos resíduos contidos no compartimento de depósito elevado. [008] Um dos problemas associados aos coletores contidos no estado da técnica é a sua construção, cuja configuração possui uma parte superior, que é um compartimento elevado de depósito de resíduos, projetada sobre a rua, estrada ou avenida; esta configuração pode gerar o inconveniente de algum veículo com altura suficiente, ao passar pelo coletor, venha a colidir com essa parte superior, causando acidente, prejuízos, bem como espalhar lixo pela estrada, etc. Outro fator associado à esta construção está no fato da ser mais propenso a ser danificado com a ação de fortes ventos, bem como poluição visual nas cidades aonde esteja instalado. Ainda quanto a configuração construtiva deste equipamento, o levantamento do lixo é feito por esteira, que requer maiores manutenções, maiores cuidados, bem como limita as formas geométricas para construção da torre. Outro problema associado a esta configuração é o fato de que se torna mais difícil sua instalação e perfuração do solo, pois devido o fato de utilizar esteiras de carregamento em seu mecanismo interno, possibilita que o equipamento seja fabricado apenas com seção transversal poligonal, preferivelmente de 4 lados. Ainda pode ser citado como inconveniente o problema de carregamento destes containers existentes, caso o usuário queira abastecer grandes quantidades de resíduos de uma única vez, por meio de um outro carrinho, ou devido a alguma emergência tal Container precise abarcar uma quantidade superior à normal, operando com sobrecarga. [009] Com objetivo de eliminar tais inconvenientes resolvendo os problemas mencionados, é proposto o presente pedido de patente, cujo objeto é um receptáculo vertical, tubular, modular, a ser instalado adjacente a rua, estrada, ou avenida, e cuja configuração construtiva elimina qualquer prolongamento do seu corpo por sobre região da via onde fora instalado adjacentemente. A configuração construtiva se dá por corpo tubular, compreendendo mecanismo interno acionado por elemento motriz, carretel e cabos, uma plataforma base e uma comporta superior de descarga, que quando aberta é a própria rampa de descarga, de modo que o motor eleva a plataforma por meio do içamento de seus cabos (pode ser cintas, ou outro elemento compatível), que são enrolados num carretel, e empurra o lixo armazenado para a região de descarga, na parte superior, e simultaneamente libera o cabo para abertura da comporta de descarga, transformando-a na rampa de descarga do resíduo. A segunda porta será maior que a primeira e terá como finalidade permitir a inspeção, limpeza e manutenção do equipamento, além de ser utilizada por agentes da limpeza urbana para depositar no receptáculo resíduos em maior quantidade, utilizando inclusive carrinhos; poderá estar disposta no mesmo nível da porta de depósito, ou situada em nível diferente, bem como em posições distintas. A terceira porta, deve estar posicionada acima do nível das da porta de depósito, servirá como porta sobressalente, servindo para aumentar a capacidade cúbica do receptáculo em casos emergenciais, tais como, enchentes, festas, eventos, entre outros, deste modo permitindo que o receptáculo opere em modo de sobrecarga. Todas as portas preveem meios de isolamento para impedir troca de fluido com o ambiente externo, além de poder prever sistema de chaveamento físico ou eletrónico para impedir que pessoas não autorizadas possam inicializar o mecanismo e descarregar os resíduos sem serem autorizados.
