Abstract

The invention relates to devices for projecting images onto a viewing surface, and specifically to a book combined with a projector in order to present slides when reading accompanying information. The present slide projector book comprises a projector and a book cartridge fastened thereon, wherein, according to the invention, the book cartridge consists of at least two pages having a connecting strip that connects said pages, said strip having a translucent element that, when the pages are turned, remains at the necessary location within the receiving port of the projector to produce a clear projection. The technical result of the proposed invention consists in increased ease of use and a simpler structural design.

 Technical field

 The invention relates to devices for projecting images onto a viewing surface, namely, a book with a built-in projector for demonstrating slides while reading informational support.

State of the art

 From the prior art, a slide projector book is known which consists of an optical unit that includes a plurality of light sources and a corresponding array of lenses. Moreover, each lens and the corresponding light source is adapted for showing slides located between them. In addition, the book contains a control unit with switches, each of which activates a corresponding light source (according to patent US9675901 B2, class A63H 33/38, G03B 21/00, publ. 13.06.17).

 The disadvantage of this device is the design complexity associated with the fact that each slide uses its own light source, as well as the lack of synchronization of book pages and slides.

 A device for reproducing filmstrips is known, characterized in that it contains a slide projector, a remote control, a storage medium including a set of slides, a digital medium with an audio version of a book, and a booklet brochure with filmstrip captions and labels for operating the remote control. The slide projector is equipped with a unit for installing a cartridge and a digital medium with an audio version of a book, a device for reading and playing audio files from a digital medium with an audio version of a book, a unit for placing batteries, a speaker, a projection lens and an infrared sensor (according to patent RU 108159, class G09B 21 / 00, publ. 10.09.1 1).

 The disadvantage of this device is the design complexity associated with a large number of components included in its composition.

 The closest technical solution is a book-video projector slide, which consists of interconnected front and back covers with pages inserted between them. A video projector is installed in the book, reproducing slides from an external source (according to patent US7217055 B2, class B42F 13/40, G09B 17/00, publ. 15.05.07).

 The disadvantage of this device is the lack of synchronization of the pages of the book and slides, which makes it inconvenient to use.

 The technical result of the invention is to improve ease of use and simplify the design.

 The specified technical result is achieved in that the book-slide projector contains a projector and a cartridge book attached to it, and is characterized in that the cartridge book consists of at least two sheets with a jumper connecting them with a translucent element.

 The slide projector (Fig. 1) consists of the following main components: the cover of the projector 1 and the cartridge book 2. The set of products may include several replaceable cartridge books, including those with different informational and graphic contents.

 The presented drawings suggest a special case of an embodiment of the invention in which the projector cover 1 consists directly of cover 3 (Fig. 2) and a projector mounted in its spine, consisting of a coaxially mounted emitter 4 and an optical unit 5.

 The cartridge book 2 is fixed in the device for fixing the page turning axis 6, made in the form of an O-shaped clamping ring mechanism mounted on the case of the emitter 4. The longitudinal axis of the ring mechanism is parallel to the axis of the emitter beam. A power supply 7 is fixed on the cover 3. The kit may also include a unit for charging the power supply 8.

 A lamp 9 is pivotally mounted on the housing of the power supply 7. The housing of the lamp 9 performs the function of a rotary switch. The function of the switch can be provided by a sliding conductive segment fixed at the axis of rotation in the lamp housing and closing the circuit break in the reciprocal contact path fixed in the power supply housing.

 The sheets of the cartridge book 2 are interconnected along the axis of turning. On the upper cut, adjacent sheets are connected to each other by a jumper 10 (Fig. 3) with a translucent element 1 1, which contains graphic information.

 Cartridge-book 2 has a folding design, the feature of which is the property in which when turning the pages with the achievement of adjacent odd and even pages of a 180-degree page, the jumper 10 connecting them reaches a position perpendicular to them (Fig. 4). In this case, when the cartridge book is mounted on the projector, the translucent element 1 1 is at the place required for achieving a clear projection in the receiving window of the projector (Fig. 5).

 The material of the pages of the cartridge-book 2 and the segment of the jumper 10 containing the translucent element 1 1 must have relative rigidity to maintain functionality.

 The pages of the cartridge-book 2 and the jumper 1 1 may contain text and (or) graphic information, including the corresponding content of the projected image.

 In the housing of the optical unit 5, a movable mirror element 12 is installed.

A microswitch 13 is mounted on the housing of the optical unit 5.

 The procedure for using the slide projector is as follows.

 When the pages are opened until the angle of 180 degrees is reached between them, the jumper 10 connecting them reaches a position perpendicular to them, at which the translucent element 1 1, pressing the lever of the microswitch 13, is at the place required for achieving a clear projection in the receiving window of the projector. In this case, the normally open microswitch 13 closes the circuit supplying power to the emitter. Depending on the position of the raised or folded mirror element 12 (Fig. 5), the beam containing the projected image will be directed upward (Pos. I) or directly (Pos. II). During the projection time of the image, it remains possible to read text and (or) graphic information from the opened pages backlit by the lantern 9.

 The most sought-after is expected to use a book projector when reading fairy tales before bedtime for a child lying in bed, with the projection of accompanying pictures on the ceiling above the bed.
