Definitions
- the invention relates to methods of manual wellness practice, and in particular to methods of osteopractic based on the activation of internal healing processes of self-regulation against the background of tactile interactions with the hands of the operator.
- the peripheral sections of the muscular-fascial cylinders passing through the trigger zone are exposed.
- the method allows you to work out the deep layers of muscles, ligaments, create intense microcirculation of blood, lymph, interstitial fluid.
- the disadvantage of this method is the impossibility of its use in the presence of acute pain myofascial trigger zones.
- the objective of the claimed method is to eliminate the operator’s painful practices by reducing the pain effect, the time of its manifestation and improving the general physical condition of a person within several sessions of the healing effect.
- the claimed technical result is achieved by the method of healing effects on the human body by deforming the myofascial trigger zone, by kneading and twisting the subcutaneous fascia and muscles to reduce pain, while kneading is carried out by gripping the fascia and muscles with the hands of the operator, followed by pressing them, repeating up and down movements , and stretching the muscles and fascia between the hands of the operator, while pressing on the fascia and muscles alternate with their stretching with a frequency of 5-10 turns Exercises per minute until the sensation of minimal resistance of body tissues, keep tissue tension at the achieved resistance barrier, and then twist the muscles and fascia in the direction of greatest resistance until maximum tissue resistance at the barrier is achieved, hold them for 90-120 seconds until the sensation of relaxation, after which effect directly on soft tissues at the epicenter of pain by kneading folds of skin with subcutaneous fatty tissue with moderate compression and intense twisting of tissues around the trigger zone.
- the muscles and fascia of the arch area of the base of the skull, or / and the muscles and fascia in the neck, or / and the muscles and fascia of the upper thoracic region of the body, and / or the muscles and fascia of the back, and / or the muscles and fascia of the anterior abdominal are exposed walls, and / or muscles and fascia of the posterior surface of the thigh and lower leg.
- a positive effect occurs due to the alternation of periods of tension and muscle relaxation, when the operator acts on the internal and segmental system of muscle self-regulation. In this way, their relaxation is achieved, as well as pulling the joints into the correct position, mediated through tendon tension.
- the method is as follows.
- layer-by-layer palpation of the stress-painful area is performed to identify the border of the compacted hypomobile skin fold with subcutaneous fat and / or underlying fascia and / or muscle.
- a tactile examination of the entire area is performed by moving the folds of skin with subcutaneous fatty tissue in order to identify exact localization, degree of tissue tightening, and lack of physiological mobility.
- the duration and frequency of the sessions are individual. Much depends on the body's ability to self-healing, its reactivity. In some cases, a 15-30 minute wellness correction is sufficient. More often the procedure takes about 1 hour.
- meetings with the operator can be held 2 times a week for 2-3 sessions. Further - 1 time per week and after the 8th session - 1 time in 2-3 months. It is desirable to maintain a healing effect in the amount of 3 sessions 1 time per year. Usually muscle discomfort leaves pretty quickly. In most cases, the total exposure time does not exceed 30-40 minutes.
- the client can feel both lightness and increase of strength, and fatigue, drowsiness. Such reactions are normal and are associated with the inclusion of self-regulatory processes, relaxation, rebalancing of the nervous system. It is advisable to limit extreme physical activity after the session and the next day. This will allow the body to return to a normal level of health and functioning, without adapting to aggressive external influences, overload. It is good to increase fluid intake in order to help the body to improve the quality of metabolic processes.
- Client A 45 years old, female. Indicates discomfort in the area of the left superciliary arch, extending to the frontal and parietal region, aggravated by emotional stress.
- Stage 1 The operator captures the occipital-frontal muscle, while one arm is installed in the frontal abdomen of the muscle on the arch of the skull, and the other hand is installed on the occipital part of the muscle in the region of the base of the skull.
- Stage 2 The operator presses on the fascia and muscles of the client with a little effort and stretches them between the hands until the sensation of minimal resistance to body tissues (pre-pathological barrier to movement restriction).
- Stage 3 The operator holds the tissue tension at the previously achieved barrier and twists towards the greatest resistance of the occipital-frontal muscle and the fascia of the arch and base of the skull surrounding it.
- Stage 4 The operator reaches the maximum tissue resistance on the barrier and holds them for 90-120 seconds or until the sensation of relaxation, accompanied by subjective phenomena of muscle and fascia stretching. After that, they directly affect the soft tissues at the epicenter of discomfort by kneading the folds of the skin with subcutaneous fatty tissue with moderate compression and intense tissue twisting around the trigger zone.
- Example 2 In this and subsequent examples, manipulations are carried out in the sequence described in example 1. The changes relate only to steps 1 and 3.
- Client B 40 years old, female. Indicates discomfort in the neck when turning the head.
- Stage 1 The operator captures the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
- Stage 3 The operator holds the tissue tension at the previously achieved barrier and twists the sternocleidomastoid muscle and facies of the neck towards the greatest resistance.
- Step 4 As described in example 1.
- Client B 52 years old male. Indicates periodic subjectively perceived muscle tension in the upper chest.
- Stage 1 The operator captures the muscles of the upper thoracic area in the periclavicular and scapular region.
- Stage 2 As described in example 1.
- Stage 3. The operator holds the tissue tension at the previously achieved barrier and twists to the side of the greatest resistance of muscles and fascia in the upper thoracic area in the periclavicular and scapular regions in order to restore muscle self-regulation and lymphomotor function of the subclavian and axillary lymph nodes and improve the outflow of lymphatic fluid into the subclavian veins.
- Step 4 As described in example 1.
- Example 4 Client G, 32 years old, male, Indicates discomfort in the extensor muscles of the lower lumbar region on the left side of the back. Unpleasant sensations occur during inclines and are aggravated in the evening.
- Stage 1 The operator captures the extensor muscles, straightening the spine in the back, while one of his hands is installed on the side of discomfort in the area of the lumbar transition of the spine, the other hand captures the muscles and fascia in the lower back. Stage 2. As described in example 1.
- Stage 3 The operator holds the tissue tension at the previously reached barrier and twists in the direction of the greatest resistance of the muscles and fascia of the back of the client.
- Step 4 As described in example 1.
- Example 5 Client D, 38 years old, female. Indicates discomfort in the muscles of the anterior abdominal wall. Unpleasant sensations occur after sports loads. Stage 1. The operator captures the rectus abdominis muscles in the region of the anterior abdominal wall, while one arm is set below the xiphoid process of the sternum, and the other below the umbilical zone, near the pubic joint. Stage 2. As described in example 1.
- Stage 3 The operator holds the tissue tension at the previously reached barrier and twists in the direction of the greatest resistance of the muscles and fascia of the anterior abdominal wall of the client.
- Step 4 As described in example 1.
- Client E 56 years old, male. Indicates discomfort in the lower leg when walking.
- Stage 1 The operator captures the muscles of the back surface of the leg of the client, while one of his hands is set below the knee joint of the client, and the other above the ankle.
- Stage 3 The operator holds the tissue tension at the previously achieved barrier and twists to the side of the greatest resistance of the muscles and fascia of the posterior surface of the leg of the client.
- Step 4 As described in example 1.
- Client F 38 years old, female. Indicates the subjectively "stale state" of the head, fatigue, decreased quality of life, instability of mood. Wellness manipulations with facies and muscles of the arch and base of the skull, clavicular and scapular zones, back, anterior abdominal wall and limbs were performed in the sequence described in examples 1-6.
- the client After 6 sessions, the client’s quality of life improved, her working capacity improved, her mood stabilized.
- the proposed method was tested on 153 clients with different localization and severity of muscle discomfort.
- the improving effect on the human body by the proposed method made it possible to achieve positive changes in the subjective and objective state of clients.
- the state of clients, after the sessions, was monitored for 10 months by 52 people who applied for the healing procedure, all of them had a steady improvement in their health level.
- Improving correction of the muscular-facies system by the proposed osteopractic method allows for a wide range of manipulations, such as: muscular-diaphragmatic readaptation, arthrostabilization correction of the foot and knee, longitudinal transverse correction of the sutures of the skull and venous sinuses, cranio-rhythmic correction of the cerebral and facial cranial neurocerebral, internal organs, aesthetic modeling of the face and Vietnameselleté, aesthetic mo buttock and breast removal, viscerosomatic correction, bone-intraosseous correction, bone-repair correction, neuropsychological and emotional recovery and neurobiodynamic correction.
