Abstract

대표 객체를 기준으로 동영상의 대표 이미지를 선정하는 방법 및 그 방법을 처리하는 전자 장치가 제공된다. 동영상의 대표 이미지 선정 방법은 동영상을 획득하는 단계, 동영상에 등장하는 적어도 하나의 객체 중 동영상의 대표 객체를 결정하는 단계 및 대표 객체의 시각적 중요도를 나타내는 이미지 스코어에 기반하여 동영상의 대표 이미지를 선정하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 이로써 대표 객체가 시각적으로 가장 잘 보이는 이미지를 동영상의 대표 이미지로 선정할 수 있다.
