本開示は、レンダリング結果の品質の低減を抑制することができるようにする情報処理装置および方法に関する。 位置情報がボクセルを用いて量子化された、３次元構造を表す３Ｄデータであるボクセルデータのレンダリングを、そのボクセルの形状に応じて行う。または、位置情報がボクセルを用いて量子化された、３次元構造を表す３Ｄデータであるボクセルデータのレンダリングに関する情報であるレンダリング情報に基づいて、そのボクセルデータのレンダリングを行う。本開示は、例えば、情報処理装置、画像処理装置、電子機器、情報処理方法、またはプログラム等に適用することができる。
