Abstract
The present invention relates to a device for generating electricity, particularly by means of hollow prismatic boxes and by using buoyant force and upthrust. The device comprises: a wheel (1) containing a set of prismatic boxes (2) and connected by a belt (3) to an electrical generator (4) for producing electricity; pipes (5) for carrying air between the boxes; a lever (6) for removing air; and a latch (7) that closes automatically according to weight and gravity, the device being immersed in a container (8) filled with a liquid. Electricity is generated by means of the wheel by using the air-filled boxes, the rotation, raising and lowering of the boxes being a continuous circular movement that is converted into electrical energy by the electrical generator. The advantage of the invention is that it can easily generate electrical energy continuously at low cost and with little effort and is environmentally friendly.
