- each half-shell 620A, 620B comprises at least one tongue 622A, 622B so that the support has two diametrically opposite longitudinal tongues. At least one portion 623A, 623B of the tongue extends towards the longitudinal axis of the tube 600 to allow to limit or block the angular displacement of the portion of the object 650 which extends in the space delimited by the wall lower wall 620.
- the implant can be deconditioned and extracted from the conditioning device in the following manner. The following steps are described with reference to FIG. 1 but also apply to the other embodiments.
- the operator removes the cap 101 to open the tube 100.
- the operator also removes the stop element 590 (as for example in the embodiment of Figure 5) which immobilizes the implant during transport.
- the stop element is coupled to the plug to come with the plug when the latter is removed.
- the operator can then introduce an instrument into the tube 100 to bring a coupling part of the instrument into contact with a corresponding part 160 of the object 150.
- the operator then turns the instrument or a part of the instrument on itself (that is to say around the axis of the tube) so as to cooperate the thread of said portion of the instrument with the tapping of the tulip.
- the blocking function or limitation in rotation of the support relative to the tube, and the tulip relative to the support allows the tulip and the support not to rotate idly in the tube when the operator tries to couple the tulip instrument.
- the operator can extract the implant simply axial displacement of the implant using the instrument, the implant remaining axially movable freely in the direction of opening the tube out of the tube 100, the instrument and the object 150 coupled to the 'instrument.
- the step of extracting the object can be performed simply and quickly by tilting the tube to orient the opening of the tube downwards and thus freely slide the screw out of the support and the tube.
- said support is attached to the interior of the main hollow body.
- said support may be formed integrally with said main hollow body.
- the main hollow body and the support can be one-piece.
- the conditioning device comprises a main hollow body 700 which has the shape of a housing having an opening on the top.
- a cover 701 is connected by being articulated by a hinge 702 breakable or not at the upper opening edge of the housing 700.
- the housing has a longitudinal axis A700.
- the cover 701 is shown in the open position but can of course take a closed position in which it prevents access to the interior of the housing 700.
- a sealing strip can be applied on the slot defined between the edges of the cover 701 and the housing 700 which face each other, as described in the application WO2014188142 A1 or in the application WO2018078242A1, in particular by applying the sealing strip on the hinge, then along the slot and by returning to the hinge.
- the packaging device also comprises a support 710 housed inside the casing 700.
- the support 710 comprises a seat 730 which makes it possible to receive the part 860 upper object 850, for example a tulip as in the example illustrated in the figures, and which has axial through passage to allow another portion 840 of the object, smaller in diameter than the upper portion 860 of the object, for example a screw body 870 as in the example shown in the figures, to pass axially through the seat 730 and extend below the seat 730, while the upper portion 860 of the object, in this example the tulip, remains in abutment against the seat 730.
- the tulip extends above said seat 730.
- the tulip is surrounded on part of its height by a wall wall 740 of the support which extends the seat.
- the seat 730 has an annular shape of parallel passage axis or coincides with the longitudinal axis of the housing.
- the support 710 is housed entirely in the housing 700. Said support 710 is configured to receive the object 850. According to one particular aspect, the support 710 also comprises a location 740 'for receiving another object 950 , such as a fastener having a thread adapted to cooperate with a tapped hole in the tulip 860. This piece is usually called screw or lock nut or "plug". Location 740 'may include a bottom that receives the object 950 and a wall that surrounds the object at least in part. Said screw or lock nut can be maintained in its housing or location, for example by jamming or by cooperation of its thread with a tapping of the housing, while allowing to extract said screw or lock nut with a instrument.
- the support 710 may have a height measuring element, such as a ruler 790, which extends below the level of the seat of the support to enable the length of the lower part of the object to be determined quickly, in this case the length of the body of screw that remains visible.
- a height measuring element such as a ruler 790
- the main hollow body here a housing, is transparent material.
- the support has a suitable shape, especially under its seat to let the user see the length of the part of the object that extends through the seat.
- Said support 710 makes it possible in particular to keep the object 850 suspended at a distance from the bottom of the housing.
- the support may comprise a base 722, optionally provided with feet 723, which can cooperate with corresponding recesses formed in the bottom of the housing.
- the support 710 has a transverse portion, for example a plate 71 1 of generally rectangular shape with a rounded edge, which extends for example substantially to the height of the seat 730, and which forms a means for limiting or locking in rotation of the support 710. inside the casing 700 which is section of similar shape.
- a possible rotational movement of the support relative to the housing around the axis A730 of the through passage of the seat 730 (or around another parallel axis) would cause an abutment of the plate 71 1 against the inner peripheral wall of the housing 700 limiting or preventing the rotation of the support 710.
- the support 710 may also have a bottom wall 720 which comprises, for example, legs 721 spaced apart from each other which extend under the seat, and which preferably connect the plate 71 1 to the base 722.
- the legs can be arched outward and flexible to rub inside the case.
- the support 710 can thus be configured to limit or prevent its axial exit from the housing, which makes it possible, in case of need to release the one or more or some of the objects by inclining the housing 700 in the open state of the cover 701, that the object or objects slide axially out of the housing 700 while the support 710 remains in position in the housing.
- This feature of limiting or preventing exit of the support can also be applied to the supports of the other embodiments.
- the seat 730 is surmounted by an upper wall wall 740 which develops at least partially around the seat by defining a passage in the extension of the passage defined by the seat 730.
- the upper wall wall 740 and with the seat 730 defines an insertion passage and a housing to surround all or part of the tulip 860.
- FIG. 7A illustrates that, as in the other embodiments, the upper portion (able to engage an extraction instrument) of the object 850 is locked in rotation relative to the carrier 710 around the A730 axis of the through passage of the corresponding seat.
- it is expected that it is the shape of the upper wall wall 740 which is not of revolution and which is able to come into contact with the part 860 in the event of a movement of rotation, which forms a stop limiting or preventing the axial rotation of the portion 860 of the object 850.
- the inner face of the upper wall wall 740 has a shape which, in cooperation with the outer face of the tulip 860, can limit or block the rotation of the tulip 860 relative to the support 710 and therefore relative to the housing 700 about the axis A730 of the through passage of the seat 730. It can be provided in particular that the characteristics of the seat and / or the wall upper wall bracket of the embodiments of Figures 2 to 4, may be applied to the seat and / or the upper wall wall of the embodiment of Figures 7 and 7A and 7B.
- the or each object suspended through the support may be the object, such as a pedicle screw, shown in the other embodiments.
- the support is in the form of a set of two supports, integral or not with each other, formed together in one piece or not, and each having a seat adapted to receive the upper part of the corresponding object, the seat having a through axial passage allowing the lower part of the object to pass through the seat.
- Said objects may be identical or different, for example of different length.
- Each of the two supports of the assembly may have some or all of the support features of the embodiments presented above. In the example illustrated in FIG. 7B, each of the two supports also has a housing for the locking screw or nut.
- the set of supports may comprise means 799 for holding a part of each object that extends under the corresponding seat of the support, for example hooks able to partially surround a screw body.
- the main hollow body may be coupled (bound) to the closure element not by a thread but by other means, such as a hinge.
- a sealing strip may be applied along the edges of the plug and hollow body which delimit their openings and which are able to face each other.
- the band can be applied along the slot which separates the plug and the main hollow body (while remaining bound by the hinge).
- the strip can then initially be applied to the hinge, then be applied to the opposite slot edges and return to the hinge.
