本願は、2017年8月2日に日本に出願された特願2017-150060号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
また、スパウト本体の口部を開放するためには、スパウトキャップを取り外す操作と、シールフィルムを剥がす操作の二つの操作が必要となり、手間がかかる場合がある。
また、スパウト本体の口部を開放するためには、スクリューキャップの取り外しと、インナーシールの剥離の二つの操作が必要であり、手間がかかる場合がある。さらには、スクリューキャップの取り外しには、キャップを回転させる操作が必要となるため、回転時にねじれが生じない程度に剛性を有する部分を一方の手で支持しながら、他方の手でスクリューキャップを回転させることになる。このため、一般的なスパウト付き容器では、剛性を有する部分として、内容物を収容する袋体ではなく、袋体とスパウト本体との接合部などを一方の手で支持しながら、他方の手でスクリューキャップを回転させる。この際、スクリューキャップや接合部は小さく、スクリューキャップと接合部との距離も短いため、キャップの回転操作に必要となる力は大きくなり、特に指の力の弱い子供や高齢者にとっては簡単な操作ではなく、改善が求められている。
また、スパウト本体の口部の開放の際には、インナーシールの剥がし片がゴミとして発生し、誤飲の可能性がある。
また、シール部およびカバープレートが、スパウト本体の口部の先端面にのみ設けられている構造であるため、使用者が口の中に入れる口部の外周面が外部に露出された状態となっており、不衛生となる場合がある。
図1は、本実施形態のスパウト100を示す斜視図である。図2は、スパウト100のII-II線における断面図である。図3は、スパウト100の平面図である。
図1から図3に示すように、スパウト100は、容器に充填した内容物の注出入口として機能するスパウト本体20と、スパウト本体20に取り付けられたスパウトキャップ10とを備えている。
以降の説明において、スパウトキャップ10が設けられた側をスパウト100の先端側(あるいは上方)、スパウト本体20が設けられた側をスパウト100の基端側(あるいは下方)と称する。
スパウトキャップ10は、筒状の胴部11と、胴部11に接合されたシールフィルム12とを備えている。
本実施形態における胴部11は、平面視で円形、すなわち丸筒状となっているが(図3参照)、これに限定されず、例えば平面視で矩形や多角形状となっていてもよい。なお、胴部11の中心軸Oに沿う方向を軸方向といい、この中心軸Oに交差する方向を径方向という場合がある。
胴部11は単一の材料から形成されていてもよく、あるいは種々の樹脂層からなる多層構造を有してもよい。
胴部11は、射出成形、圧縮成形などの公知の成形方法により形成することができる。
図4および図5に示すように、胴部11は、基端11bよりも先端11aに近い位置(胴部11の上方)において、内周面11cに連設した台座部13を備えている。台座部13の上面13aには、シールフィルム12が接合されている。胴部11とシールフィルム12とは、台座部13の上面13aにおいて接合されている。台座部13は平面視において環状となっている(図3参照)。
また、図3に示すように、台座部13は、胴部11に環状に設けられている。台座部13は、胴部11の内周面11cから径方向内側に向けて突出し、胴部11の周方向に沿って連続して設けられている。
台座部13の配置および形状は、後述するスパウト本体20の口部21との関係で適宜決定すればよい。例えば、台座部13は、より基端11b側に設けられていてもよいし、胴部11の周方向に沿って不連続に設けられていてもよい。また、台座部13の下面13bは、傾斜して設けられず、上面13aと平行をなすように設けられていてもよい。台座部13は、胴部11の成形と同時に形成することができる。
基材層としては、印刷適性に優れ、さらに突き刺し強度、引っ張り強度、耐衝撃性などを備えたフィルムとすることができる。基材層の材質としては、例えば、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリプロピレン、ポリアミド、エチレンビニルアルコール共重合体などが挙げられ、これらの二軸延伸フィルム又は一軸延伸フィルムを用いることができる。また、これらのフィルムに、酸素、水蒸気や紫外線などの光線に対するバリア性を付与するために、アルミニウム、マグネシウムなどの金属、又は酸化珪素などの酸化物を蒸着させた蒸着フィルム、ポリ塩化ビニリデンなどのバリア性コート剤などをコートしたコートフィルムなどを用いてもよい。基材層は、前記したフィルムの単体であってもよく、積層体であってもよい。
熱接合層は、基材層の形状を維持できる温度範囲内で加熱溶融可能で、熱接合可能な層である。熱接合層の樹脂の材質としては、例えば、高密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレンなどのポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンなどが挙げられ、これらの未延伸フィルムや、前記した樹脂を層状に押し出したフィルムとすることができる。これらの樹脂のうち、スパウトキャップが高温加熱滅菌するレトルト処理に曝される場合には、前記高温加熱滅菌処理に対する耐熱性を備えたポリプロピレンを用いればよい。
基材層、熱接合層、および必要に応じて用いる中間層からなる積層フィルムは、接着剤を用いたドライラミネート法、熱接着性樹脂を用いた押し出しラミネート法などの公知の方法で製造することができる。
なお、シールフィルム12は、熱接合可能なフィルムからなる単層フィルムであってもよい。
本実施形態におけるシールフィルム12は、平面視で円形となっている(図3参照)。なお、胴部11の平面視形状が円形以外であった場合には、シールフィルムの形状もそれに合わせた同形状としてよい。本実施形態におけるシールフィルム12は、胴部11の中心軸Oと交差しつつ、胴部11の上端開口を閉鎖するように、または、胴部11の内部空間を上下に区画するように、配置されている。
シールフィルム12の熱接合層の面である下面の外周縁部が、台座部13の上面13aに接合されている。シールフィルム12の熱接合層のうち、台座部13の上面13aに接合された前記外周縁部より径方向内側の部分は、下方に、すなわち後述するスパウト本体20の口部21が挿入される胴部11の内部空間に対向している。
なお、第一の凸部15および第二の凸部16の配置および形状は、後述するスパウト本体20に設けられた凸部(第一の凸部22および第二の凸部23)との関係で適宜決定すればよい。例えば、凸部が胴部11の周方向に沿って不連続に設けられていてもよいし、第一の凸部15および第二の凸部16の一方の凸部のみ設けられていてもよい。第一の凸部15および第二の凸部16が不連続に設けられている場合には、不連続部分がレトルト処理時にスパウトキャップ10とスパウト本体20の口部21との隙間に残留する水分の抜け道の溝として機能することができる。
張出部14bは、上記に限られず、略円形状で中央部に貫通孔を有する部材や、中央部に貫通孔を有しない部材としてもよい。張出部14bは設けずに、ベルト部14aのみで摘み部14を構成することもできる。この場合には、使用者は、スパウト本体20の口部21の開放の際に、ベルト部14aを指で摘まんで持ち上げること、または摘まずに親指などで上方に押し上げることで、容易にスパウトキャップ10を取り外すことができる。摘み部14は、胴部11の成形と同時に形成することができる。
なお、摘み部14を設けるかどうかは、スパウト100の使用者やスパウト100の使用される状況などを想定して適宜決定すればよく、スパウト100は摘み部14を備えない場合もあり得る。
スパウト本体20は、筒状の口部21と、フランジ部24と、容器取り付け部25とを備えている。図2に示すように、口部21の基端とフランジ部24の先端とが連設され、フランジ部24の基端と容器取り付け部25の先端とが連設されている。スパウト本体20は、口部21と、フランジ部24と、容器取り付け部25とを一体として構成されている。
なお、第一の凸部22および第二の凸部23の配置および形状は、第一の凸部15および第二の凸部16との関係で適宜決定すればよい。例えば、口部21の周方向に沿って不連続に設けられていてもよいし、第一の凸部22および第二の凸部23の一方の凸部のみ設けられていてもよい。第一の凸部22および第二の凸部23が不連続に設けられている場合には、不連続部分がレトルト処理時にスパウトキャップ10とスパウト本体20の口部21との隙間に残留する水分の抜け道の溝として機能することができる。
また、量産過程においては、レールなどの搬送機構にフランジ部24を引っ掛けることで、大量のスパウト本体20、スパウト100またはスパウト付き容器500をスムーズに搬送し、供給することが可能となる。
図1から図3に示すように、本実施形態に係るスパウト100は、上記のスパウト本体20に上記のスパウトキャップ10を取り付けることによって構成されている。
スパウト本体20の口部21の外周面21dをスパウトキャップ10の胴部11が覆うようにして、スパウト本体20にスパウトキャップ10が取り付けられている。
スパウト本体20の口部21の外周面21dは、スパウトキャップ10の胴部11に覆われているため、口部21の開放時まで口部21の外周面21dが外部に露出されることがない。したがって、スパウト100を衛生面で優れた製品とすることができる。
なお、スパウトキャップ10がスパウト本体20から脱落することを防止する構成としては、図2に示すような構成に限られず、例えば、スパウトキャップ10に設けられた凹部(係合部)とスパウト本体20に設けられた凸部(被係合部)とで構成してもよい。
図2および図3に示すように、スパウトキャップ10がスパウト本体20に取り付けられた状態においては、胴部11に設けられた台座部13は、スパウト本体20の口部21を囲むように設けられ、台座部13の上面13aは口部21の先端面21aと同一平面となるように設けられている。
このようにして、スパウトキャップ10の胴部11と接合したシールフィルム12を、スパウト本体20の口部21にも接合させ、スパウト本体20の口部21の閉止が確実に行われる。
特に、口部21の先端面21aの方が台座部13の上面13aよりもわずかに高い位置(上方)にあるほうが、スパウトキャップ10をスパウト本体20に取り付ける際に、先端面21aをシールフィルム12に確実に接触させることができる。より具体的には、口部21の先端面21aの高さは、台座部13の上面13aよりも1mm以下の範囲で高くてもよい。
このような構成とすることで、胴部11の先端11aとシールフィルム12との間に一定の距離を持たせることが可能となるため、図9に示すようなスパウト100の取り付けられたスパウト付き容器500を使用者が持ち運ぶ際に、意図せずシールフィルム12に物が接触し破れてしまうといった事態を少なくすることができる。
上述した手順に沿って、スパウトキャップ10を作製する。すなわち、金型内に作製したシールフィルム12を配置した後に、胴部11をインサートインジェクションによって成形してスパウトキャップ10を作製する、または、胴部11およびシールフィルム12の形成後に、高周波シール、超音波シール、インパルスシール、熱板シールなどの方法によって、胴部11とシールフィルム12とを接合させて、スパウトキャップ10を作製する。また、別途スパウト本体20も射出成形等によって作製する。
続いて、スパウトキャップ10の胴部11を弾性変形させながら、胴部11が口部21の外周面21dを覆うように、スパウト本体20にスパウトキャップ10を装着する。この際、胴部11の第一の凸部15および第二の凸部16は、スパウト本体20に設けられた第一の凸部22および第二の凸部23に対してそれぞれ係合する。また、本実施形態では、上下方向(軸方向)に隣り合う台座部13と第一の凸部15との間に、第一の凸部22が挟持される。この結果、台座部13の上面13aと口部21の先端面21a(上面)とが同一平面となる。
続いて、高周波シール、超音波シール、インパルスシール、熱板シールなどの方法によって、シールフィルム12の熱接合層(前記外周縁部の径方向内側の部分)を口部21の先端面21aに接合させて、スパウトキャップ10の胴部11とスパウト本体20の口部21とがシールフィルム12によって接合され、スパウト100の作製が完了する。
なお、摘み部14を設けない場合には、使用者は、スパウトキャップ10の胴部11の外周面11dを指で挟んで、胴部11を持ち上げればよい。
このようにして、使用者は、スパウトキャップ10を持ち上げるというたった一つの操作により、スパウト100におけるスパウト本体20の口部21を開放することができる。
シールフィルム12と胴部11の台座部13の上面13aとの接合を維持したまま、シールフィルム12が口部21の先端面21aから剥離するように、シールフィルム12は上面13aに先端面21aよりも強固に接合されている。このような接合強度の差を設けるための具体的な方法としては、例えば、シールフィルム12と上面13aとの接合面積を、シールフィルム12と先端面21aとの接合面積よりも広くする方法、シールフィルム12を接合する際の条件を相違させる方法、上面13aの材質と先端面21aの材質を相違させる方法、および上面13aと先端面21aに異なる表面処理を施す方法など種々の方法を採用することができる。これらの方法のうち、シールフィルム12と上面13aとの接合面積をシールフィルム12と先端面21aとの接合面積よりも広くする方法によれば、スパウト100の製造工程を簡略化できる。
なお、シールフィルム12と胴部11の台座部13の上面13aとの接合を維持したまま、シールフィルム12が口部21の先端面21aから剥離できるのであれば、上記の方法に限定されず、どのような方法であってもよい。
口部21の開放の際には、スパウトキャップ10を持ち上げることでシールフィルム12を口部21の先端面21aから剥離することができるため、シールフィルム12を指で摘まんで剥離するという操作を要しない。
また、スパウトキャップ10のシールフィルム12は、スパウト本体20の口部21の先端面21aにも熱接合することができるため、スパウトキャップ10を持ち上げるという一つの操作で口部21を開放することができる。
また、口部21の開放の際には、口部21の先端面21aから剥離したシールフィルム12は、スパウトキャップ10の台座部13に引き続き接合されているため、ゴミとなる剥がし片の発生がない。
したがって、本実施形態のスパウトキャップ10およびスパウト100によれば、スパウト本体20の口部21の確実な閉止と容易な開放を両立することができる。
したがって、本実施形態のスパウトキャップ10およびスパウト100によれば、スパウト本体20の口部21の容易な開放が可能となる。
図6は、本実施形態の変形例1のスパウト200を示す斜視図である。図6に示すように、スパウト200は、スパウト本体40と、スパウト本体40に取り付けられたスパウトキャップ30とを備えている。スパウト200は、スパウトキャップ30とスパウト本体40とが相対回転することを防止する回転防止機構50を備えている。その他の構成は、上記のスパウト100と同様である。
図6に示すように、胴部31の基端側の一部を切り欠くようにして回転防止凹部50aが設けられ、フランジ部44の先端側に回転防止凹部50aと嵌合する回転防止凸部50bが設けられている。
スパウトキャップ30が胴部31の周方向に回転しようとすると、回転防止凹部50aと回転防止凸部50bとが嵌合しているため、回転防止凸部50bが障害となり、スパウトキャップ30は回転することができない。
このように、回転防止機構50を備えることで、スパウトキャップ30とスパウト本体40とが相対回転することを防止することができるため、スパウトキャップ30が不意の衝撃で回転したり、スパウトキャップ30の取り外しの際にスパウトキャップ30が胴部31の周方向にぐらついたりすることを防ぐことができる。
また、回転防止凹部50aおよび回転防止凸部50bは、スパウトキャップ30をスパウト本体40に取り付ける際の位置決めとして利用することもできる。
さらに、本変形例1のスパウトキャップ30およびスパウト200は、上述のスパウトキャップ10およびスパウト100と同様の効果を奏する。
また、スパウトキャップ30の胴部31およびスパウト本体40の口部の形状を角形とすることで、スパウトキャップ30とスパウト本体40とが相対回転することを防止してもよい。
また、ベルト部14aおよび張出部14bからなる摘み部14を、フランジ部44のようなスパウト本体40の一部に引っ掛ける構成とすることで、スパウトキャップ30とスパウト本体40とが相対回転することを防止してもよい。
図7は、本実施形態の変形例2のスパウト300を示す斜視図である。図7に示すように、スパウト300は、スパウト本体20と、スパウト本体20に取り付けられたスパウトキャップ60とを備えている。スパウト300のスパウトキャップ60には、スパウトキャップ60をスパウト本体20から取り外す際に破断する弱化部62が設けられている。その他の構成は、上記のスパウト100と同様である。
各弱化部62は、胴部61の基端から始まり、胴部61の先端へ向かうように直線的に進み、胴部61の上方付近において胴部61の周方向であって摘み部14から離れる方向に進むように設けられている。図7に示すように、各弱化部62は逆L字状に設けられている。なお、弱化部62の配置は上記の構成に限定されず、スパウトキャップ60の胴部61を破断可能であれば、どのような配置であってもよい。
また、スパウト本体20の口部21の開放の際に、スパウトキャップ60の胴部61が破断することになるため、当該破断を口部開放の履歴として捉えることができる。つまり、いわゆるタンパーエビデンスとして弱化部62を利用することができる。
さらに、本変形例2のスパウトキャップ60およびスパウト300は、上述のスパウトキャップ10およびスパウト100と同様の効果を奏する。
図8は、本実施形態の変形例3のスパウト400を示す斜視図である。図8に示すように、スパウト400は、スパウト本体20と、スパウト本体20に取り付けられたスパウトキャップ70とを備えている。スパウト400のスパウトキャップ70には、胴部71の先端71aに配置されたカバー体72が設けられている。その他の構成は、上記のスパウト100と同様である。
また、シールフィルム12が金属層を有する場合であって、カバー体72とシールフィルム12とが極めて近接している、あるいは接合などにより密着している場合には、高周波シールなどの方法によってカバー体72を介した状態であっても、シールフィルム12とスパウト本体20の口部21とを熱接合させることができる。このため、シールフィルム12をより胴部71の先端71a側に設けることによってカバー体72とシールフィルム12とを近接させておく、あるいはカバー体72の大きさを胴部71の内周側に落とし込める大きさにして、カバー体72とシールフィルム12とを接触させておくことにより、シールフィルム12とスパウト本体20の口部21との熱接合と同時または熱接合の前に、カバー体72を胴部71に接合させることもできる。
さらに、本変形例3のスパウトキャップ70およびスパウト400は、上述のスパウトキャップ10およびスパウト100と同様の効果を奏する。
図9は、上記のスパウト100を備えたスパウト付き容器500を示す斜視図である。スパウト付き容器500は、スパウト100と、内容物が充填される容器本体101とを備える。容器本体101は、対向する一対の平面部102aおよび平面部102bと、対向する一対のサイドガゼット103aおよびサイドガゼット103bと、底部104と、上部シール部105とを備える。
図9に示すようにスパウトキャップ10の胴部11から突出する摘み部14が設けられる場合、摘み部14(ベルト部14a)が胴部11から突出する方向は、スパウト100(スパウト付き容器500)の上方から見て、上部シール部105の長手方向と90度の角度をなす方向とすることができる。摘み部14(ベルト部14a)が上部シール部105の長手方向と直交するように突出していることで、スパウト100が取り付けられたスパウト付き容器500において、使用者が摘み部14を持ち上げるあるいは押し上げる際に使用者の手と容器本体101とが干渉しにくく、使用者によるスパウトキャップ10の取り外し操作がより容易になる。
基材層および熱接合層としては、シールフィルム12と同様な材質および構成を採用することができる。また、シールフィルム12と同様に、容器本体101は、バリア性に優れたアルミニウムなどの金属層を有する積層フィルムから形成することができる。
金属層を有する積層フィルムからなる容器本体101と、金属層を有するシールフィルム12を使用したスパウトキャップ10と、バリア性材料をスパウト本体20の内部に具備したスパウト本体20とを用いてスパウト付き容器500を構成することで、スパウト付き容器500の全体がバリア性を有する構成となり、内容物の長期保存に極めて優れたスパウト付き容器500とすることができる。

Claims (10)
- スパウト本体の口部を閉止するためのスパウトキャップであって、
樹脂からなる筒状の胴部と、前記胴部に接合されたシールフィルムと、を備え、
前記シールフィルムは、前記口部の閉止の際に、前記口部の先端面に接合可能な熱接合層を有するスパウトキャップ。 - 前記胴部は、当該胴部の内周面に設けられた台座部を備え、
前記シートフィルムは、前記台座部の上面に接合されており、
前記台座部は、前記口部の閉止の際に、前記口部を囲む位置に設けられ、
前記台座部の上面は、前記口部の閉止の際に、前記口部の先端面と同一平面となるように設けられている請求項1に記載のスパウトキャップ。 - 前記シールフィルムは、金属層を有する請求項1または2に記載のスパウトキャップ。
- 前記シールフィルムは、前記胴部の先端よりも下方に設けられている請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のスパウトキャップ。
- 前記シールフィルムを覆うように前記胴部の先端に配置されたカバー体をさらに備える請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のスパウトキャップ。
- 前記胴部に設けられ、前記スパウト本体からの脱落を防止するように前記スパウト本体と係合可能な係合部をさらに備える請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のスパウトキャップ。
- 前記胴部に接合された摘み部をさらに備える請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のスパウトキャップ。
- 前記胴部には、前記口部の開放の際に破断する弱化部が設けられている請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のスパウトキャップ。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のスパウトキャップと、口部を有するスパウト本体と、を備え、前記スパウトキャップの前記胴部と前記スパウト本体の前記口部とが前記シールフィルムによって接合されているスパウト。
- 請求項9に記載のスパウトと、内容物が充填される容器本体と、を備え、前記スパウトと前記容器本体とが熱接合されているスパウト付き容器。
