Abstract
La présente invention concerne, selon divers modes de réalisation, un tapis capteur comprenant un substrat de tapis, une électrode de capteur et une électrode de blindage. Au moins une partie de l'électrode de capteur et de l'électrode de blindage sont espacées et parallèles entre elles sur une première surface du substrat de tapis. L'électrode de blindage est électriquement couplée à une source de tension pour créer une capacitance entre l'électrode de blindage et l'électrode de capteur, et l'électrode de capteur est utilisée pour détecter un changement de la capacitance. Par ailleurs, l'électrode de blindage peut également être utilisée pour chauffer la surface de la partie du véhicule adjacente au tapis. Par exemple, le capteur peut être disposé à proximité d'une partie d'un volant ou d'un ensemble siège et est utilisé pour détecter la présence de mains ou d'un corps d'un occupant à proximité du volant ou de l'ensemble siège.
