Abstract

An exemplary apparatus includes a frame generator for generating a wake-up radio frame including a frame type identification corresponding to a vendor-specific frame; and an interface for causing an antenna to transmit the wake-up radio frame to a low power receiver of a station when a high power receiver of the station is in a low power mode.
