Abstract

A handle cover (K) suitable for use in providing sterilisation of the handles of the overhead surgical lights that are used in operating rooms, characterised by comprising at least one body (1) which comprises at least one skirting (6) comprising at least one upper surface (7) in contact with the surface of the light, at least one lower surface (8) in contact with the user's hand, and at least one aperture (5) having a first diameter, and comprises at least one pocket (3) in connection with the aperture (5), being suitable for accommodating the handle by passing through the aperture (5) and thus, forming a chamber structure so as to enclose the outer surface of the handle; at least one support ring (2) provided on the lower surface (8) of the skirting (6) in order to enable endurance of the skirting (6) and minimise contamination risk by preventing the skirting from being folded upwards or downwards; at least one fixing ring (4) which is used to prevent the cover (K) from slipping and falling in the case that the handle is utilised for moving the overhead surgical light.
