Abstract
Description
RELATÓRIO DESCRITIVO DESCRIPTIVE REPORT
CORRETOR DESCARTÁVEL PARA PROEMINÊNCIA AURICULAR DISCHARGEABLE BROKER FOR HEARING HEARING
The present disposable disposable corrector for auricular prominence is applicable in the clinical and aesthetic area, in the correction of atrial prominence, where otoplasty surgery is not mandatory, and refers to an adhesive device for correction of alternative atrial prominence at said surgical procedure.
The present innovation solves problems related to the correction of auricular prominence, aesthetic condition popularly called "ear in fanned", a very common congenital deformity in the external ear that occurs in about 5% of the world population, being more frequent in Caucasians , ie white skinned or European descendants whose main feature is the angle greater than 40 degrees between the auricular pavilion and the plane of the mastoid or when the outer edge of the propeller is more than 21 mm apart from this same plan. The most common is to correct the problem with otoplasty surgery, which is the generic term for a series of surgical techniques whose result is the reduction of the aforementioned measures. The main problem is the decision to undergo an invasive surgical procedure, with an uncomfortable recovery time and the real need to do the procedure, especially in a historical period where the individual has sought the recovery of his self-esteem through improvement of its external appearance, which has broad technological support. That is, new technologies are created for simple aesthetic corrections and quickly become accessible to users. Between these two arguments we have a gap between the need for surgical correction, recommended in chronic cases, and the aesthetic necessity of minor corrections that do not justify the surgical procedure.
[004] The solution presented here aims to be a specific solution to the aesthetic problem presented. Unlike the alternatives found in e- commerce, the proposed invention is a simple device, composed of a double-sided tape, placed on the back of the outer ear, which adheres to the user's head. This tape is made of firm and flexible material, which molds to the anatomy of each individual without losing physical integrity, with hypoallergenic adhesive resistant to water and oiliness of the skin, and that leaves no residue when removed. It presents as advantages the simplicity in the application, because it is enough to position and fix, the fact of not causing allergy, since its components are inert and / or hypoallergenic, being discreet, not negatively impacting the user's appearance, being hygienic, being a disposable device and decrease the need for a corrective surgical procedure.
