Abstract

L'invention concerne une fibre composite comprenant des particules de sorbant (à 50 % en poids) dans une matrice polymère qui comprend un polymère ou un mélange de polymères comprenant au moins un polymère thermoplastique, les extrudés étant produits par séparation de phase induite par la chaleur ou séparation de phase induite par diffusion à partir d'une suspension de dopant du polymère thermoplastique, d'un solvant facultatif et des particules de sorbant. Le polymère ou le mélange de polymères peut résister à une exposition à des températures de ou au-dessus de 220°C sans subir d'effets néfastes significatifs sur la capacité de sorbant des particules de sorbant. La fibre présente un allongement à la rupture d'au moins 5 %.
