Abstract

본 발명은 고압전 직류송전(HVDC)시스템과 연계되는 모듈러 멀티레벨 컨버터(MMC)의 서브모듈 제어기에 구동전원을 공급하도록 하는 MMC 컨버터의 서브모듈 제어기용 전원장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 MMC 컨버터의 서브모듈용 전원제어장치는 상호 간에 직렬연결된 MMC 컨버터의 서브모듈 내부에 DC전압을 저장하는 에너지저장부와, 상기 에너지저장부에 브릿지 형태로 병렬로 연결된 다수의 전력용반도체를 포함하는 브릿지회로부; 상기 에너지저장부에 병렬로 연결되며, 적어도 하나 이상의 직렬연결된 저항으로 구성되는 제1저항부; 상기 제1저항부에 직렬로 연결되는 제2저항부; 상기 제1저항부에 병렬로 연결되는 스위칭부; 및 상기 제2저항부의 양단에 형성된 출력단자로부터 출력된 전압을 저전압으로 변환하여 서브모듈 제어기로 공급하는 DC/DC컨버터; 를 포함한다.
