Abstract
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for reconstructing a road surface blocked area. The apparatus for reconstructing a road surface blocked area according to the present invention comprises: an anomalous point cloud discard logic for discarding anomalous point clouds from three-dimensional point clouds acquired by means of a mobile mapping system (MMS); a blocked area detection logic for detecting a blocked area in an image from which anomalous point clouds have been discarded by the anomalous point cloud discard logic; a point cloud generation logic for generating a virtual point cloud in the blocked area detected by means of the blocked area detection logic; and a blocked area reconstruction logic for projecting each virtual point generated by the point cloud generation logic as a dashed point image, and changing the color of each virtual point within the dashed point image to a greyscale to reconstruct the blocked area.
