図5は、第2実施形態に係る計量装置101の模式図である。なお、第1実施形態と共通する構成については同一符号を付して説明を省略する。図5に示すように、第2実施形態の計量装置101では、粗投入秤部102の第1及び第2重量センサ124,134がそれぞれ第1及び第2下段ホッパ22,32に設けられている。粗投入秤部102でも、第1上段ホッパ21から第1下段ホッパ22に投入される被計量物の計量は、ボリューム計量ではなく投入計量である。計量装置101の制御装置105は、図3と同様に、第1及び第2カットゲート23,33を制御する。即ち、第1カットゲート23を開放して安定した一定の流量で第1下段ホッパ22に投入される被計量物の重量が、第1重量センサ124で計量して目標の粗投入重量に達した時点で、第1カットゲート23を閉鎖して被計量物の投入を停止する。
図6は、第3実施形態に係る計量装置1'の図4相当の制御タイミングチャートである。図6に示すように、第3実施形態の計量装置1'では、組合せ秤部3の1回の排出に対応して複数の粗投入秤ユニット10',11'から排出が行われる。即ち、包装機8での1回の包装に対して、組合せ秤部3の1回の排出と、複数の粗投入秤ユニット10',11'の排出とが行われる。第1粗投入秤ユニット10'の計量サイクルと第2粗投入秤量ユニット11'の計量サイクルとが互いにオーバーラップし、第1及び第2粗投入秤ユニット10',11'のうち計量が完了した粗投入秤ユニットから被計量物を順次排出させる。第3実施形態の第1及び第2粗投入秤ユニット10',11'の被計量物の投入量及び排出量は、第1実施形態の第1及び第2粗投入秤ユニット10,11の被計量物の投入量及び排出量よりも少ない。第1粗投入秤ユニット10'から排出された被計量物と、第2粗投入秤ユニット11'から排出された被計量物と、組合せ秤部3から排出された被計量物とは、集合シュート4で合流して集合シュート4の排出口から包装機8へ排出される。
図7は、第4実施形態に係る計量装置の粗投入秤部3における重量センサ値と計量タイミングとの関係を示すグラフである。図7に示すように、第4実施形態の計量装置は、投入計量後に静止計量を行う点が第2実施形態と相違する。本実施形態では、粗投入秤部3において、カットゲート23,33を閉じて投入計量が完了してから所定時間経過後で且つ下段ホッパ22,32の排出前に、更に重量センサ124,134で計量を行う。即ち、投入計量完了後に重量センサ124,134の検出値の変動が収束してから更に重量センサ124,134で高精度な計量を行う(静止計量)これにより、粗投入秤部3において重量変動の低減と計量精度の向上とが両立できる。
図8は、第5実施形態に係る計量装置201の模式図である。図8に示すように、第5実施形態の計量装置201では、上段ホッパが廃止され、フィーダ212(供給装置)から第1及び第2下段ホッパ22,32に直接的に供給される被計量物を投入計量する。フィーダ212から安定した一定の流量で下段ホッパ22に投入される被計量物の重量が重量センサ124で計量して目標の粗投入重量に達した時点で、フィーダ212からの被計量物の投入を停止する。フィーダ212から下段ホッパ22に連続して落下する被計量物によって下段ホッパ22に生じる衝撃荷重が、フィーダ212の停止時点で空中に存在する被計量物の重量と同等になるとの現象に着目し、重量センサ124で検出される被計量物の重量が目標の粗投入重量に達した瞬間にフィーダ212を停止させるものである。この構成によれば、上段ホッパを廃止することで装置をコンパクトにすることができる。

Claims (5)
- 被計量物を目標重量未満の所定の粗投入重量に計量して排出する粗投入秤部と、
被計量物が夫々供給される複数の計量ホッパを有し、前記粗投入計量部により計量された被計量物の重量と前記目標重量との差を目標組合せ重量として、前記複数の計量ホッパで計量された被計量物の各重量及び目標組合せ重量に基づいて前記複数の計量ホッパのうち被計量物を排出させる計量ホッパの組合せを選択して被計量物を排出する組合せ秤部と、
前記粗投入秤部及び前記組合せ秤部から排出された被計量物を集合させて排出する集合シュートと、
前記粗投入秤部及び前記組合せ秤部を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記粗投入秤部は、
被計量物を排出する供給装置と、
前記供給装置から供給される被計量物を保持して排出する下段ホッパと、
前記供給装置から前記下段ホッパへの供給量を調節する供給調節手段と、
前記供給装置又は前記下段ホッパに設けられた重量センサと、を有し、
前記制御部は、前記供給調節手段による供給時に前記供給装置から前記下段ホッパに供給される被計量物の重量を前記重量センサで連続的に計量し、前記下段ホッパへの被計量物の供給重量が前記粗投入重量に達した時点で前記供給調節手段による供給を停止させる、計量装置。 - 前記供給装置は、被計量物を保持して排出する上段ホッパである、請求項1に記載の計量装置。
- 前記粗投入秤部は、前記供給装置、前記供給調節手段、前記下段ホッパ及び前記重量センサを夫々有する複数の粗投入秤ユニットを有し、
前記制御部は、前記複数の粗投入秤ユニットの計量サイクルを互いにオーバーラップさせ、前記複数の粗投入秤ユニットのうち計量が完了した前記粗投入秤ユニットから被計量物を順次排出させる、請求項1又は2に記載の計量装置。 - 前記制御器は、前記供給装置から前記下段ホッパへの被計量物の供給が終了してから前記下段ホッパの排出が開始するまで期間を、前記供給装置から前記下段ホッパへの被計量物の供給の期間又は前記下段ホッパからの被計量物の排出の期間よりも短くなるように設定する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の計量装置。
- 前記重量センサは、前記供給装置に設けられ、
前記制御器は、前記下段ホッパからの被計量物の排出が終了してから前記供給装置から前記下段ホッパへの被計量物の供給が開始するまで期間を、前記供給装置から前記下段ホッパへの被計量物の供給の期間よりも短くなるように設定する、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の計量装置。
